About a year ago I used my Ps4 controllers 100% several times to play on the Fire TV, but currently I cannot connect any of my 5 Ps4 controllers to the 4k stick because the stick simply cannot find the controllers anymore. :(

does using the "other bluetooth controller" option still work with the official amazon controllers since amazon blocked them a while ago? as last time i tried it simply wouldn't pair with any of my firesticks (4k or last gen fire tv sticks) and amazon were absolutely no help (as is normal on products the brick intentionally).

My Xbox one controller won’t work over wired connection. With standard otg cable. Or the Ugreen adapter. Seem to be having Bluetooth lag issues. That’s why I wanted wired. Any help ? Thanks.
Unfortunately it doesn't work on my two Amazon Firestick 4 K First Generation. Tried it with XBOX 360 and with that Gen Controller (5:37) and did both ways (Game Controller or other Bluetooth). No success at all. I wonder what went wrong. Anyone?

Bought a game pad. hope it will function well on my TV!
It works, but I have a problem. When I press the home (PS or X button) on my controller, it goes straight to the Fire TV home screen. It even does this when I'm playing my PC via Moonlight remote play. Like when I go into Steam Big Picture Mode and I load a game, I can't access the Steam overlay because that requires the home button on your controller. Is there any way to fix this?

Any fix yet? Every button I press on my controller while using any Kodi game emulator, just pulls up the game menu. The controller works fine though outside of the emulators (like normal Kodi use, just not gaming use). I have tried using the mapping options for my controller and it doesn't fix the issue.
Looks like this has been an ongoing issue for YEARS. I can't believe there isn't a fix yet.

Thank you for your efforts, but I just managed to outsmart the fire tv 4k Stick and reconnect a ps4 controller myself.
I started my mocute 054 controller with the latest firmware in MTK / PC mode for android (in normal android auto mode, the fire tv couldn't find the mocute controller either), then I was able to connect it to the 4k stick and during the mocute connected, I was able to connect a ps4 controller to the fire tv 4k stick as an additional controller. But if I terminate the connection to the mocute and completely remove it, the fire tv will strangely not find the ps4 controller again if I have also removed it.
Really crazy. ^^
Well, no matter, the main thing is that a ps4 controller can now be connected to my fire tv 4k via bluetooth using this trick and used without any problems.
My experience just made may also help other connection problems between the ps4 controller and the fire tv 4k. :)
