Thank you for posting these videos. I'm excited to say I just landed a full-time Epic Radiant Analyst role with a NY hospital. I start next month. I started off doing Epic 6 years ago doing at-the-elbow support for a multitude of consulting agencies. Closed mouths don't get fed so I was able to build a rapport with a consulting firm I did a ton of work for and they were eventually able to sponsor me. It was through them that I was able to get certified in also OpTime, Anesthesia and EpicCare Link. Working a contract clinical informatics role for EpicCare Link remotely gave me a lot of experience on the backend where I was able to do some build work and I think it helped me out a lot with finally securing this analyst role. I had my fair share of rejections, but they only made me better for the next interviews. Best of luck of anyone on this path. Being an EMR Analyst is certainly rewarding.

Congratulations 🎉on your new job !!!!Hello I live in nyc as well and I had a interview for a senior business intelligence developer clinical content. The hospital I interview for will help candidates obtain epic certification. Unfortunately I don’t get the position. I have experience in medical coding in ris-c and 3M. I use Epic for obtaining EHR in order to medical code the records. I am willing to expand my horizon especially having a degree in Health Science

Thank you for this video. I just interviewed for a Epic support specialist position with a hospital. Praying I get the position. If I get the role, the hospital will give me the certifications I need to grow into a Epic analysis role. I’ve been a Nurse working with Epic as a front end user for 6 years so I’m excited for this new possible role which has a lot of advancement opportunities!

Wow that's amazing! Best of luck Keyonna! So great to hear especially coming from a Nurse. Clinical folks have so much more to contribute.

Hey Keyonna, I as well work for a hospital using EPIC. Did you have to take the sphinx test (pre assessment test by epic) during the interview process? I heard some people don't have to if you have epic experience.

thanks for this video but please do u train people who are interested in becoming an Epic Analyst or can you refer me?

Unfortunately only Epic can train you to become an analyst. Your best bet is to try to get hired by a hospital that will send you for training at Epic or to apply to Epic directly.
