Another thing that I cant remember you guys talking about is completing the swing. I was getting a club fitting for a fairway wood and the guy noticed I stalled my follow through at impact. I found 30m with that club buy completing the follow through proper during that fitting. Went to the coarse the next day with that midset and gained 40m with the driver. Little baby fades too. Didn't slice one drive all round where its all I did for years. first drive of the day rolled out to 314m.
Understanding this was the biggest improvement to my golf swing. Being told to "start with the lower body" I thought I was generating power by firing my hips fast not realizing it was causing poor strikes. However, I notice when focusing on this I sometimes go through phases where I just consistently toe strike the ball and duck hook drives, is the fix as simple as standing a bit closer or do I need to compensate in another way with the new club path. Love the videos since 2014
Thanks for the great video, I tried this at the range today and saw the benefit. I'm just confused as to when I should start my weight transfer. Should I move my arms before I start to shift my weight, or shift first and just make sure the arms drop before I rotate? Thank you
I feel like years ago, instruction constantly said “rotation rotation rotation and leave arms behind you to lag them” and now I’m hearing “delay rotation and drop your arms”… I know it’s a synchronization of the two of those, but I feel like we need drills to help sync this not to help go one way or the other. How can I feel that I’m synchronized ?
Good content in the lesson. Your contrasting sock status (no socks for Andy who is wearing pants and white socks pulled up the thighs for Piers who is wearing shorts) distracted me, but luckily that wasn't until the end of the lesson. ;)
@ thanks you, definitely different than I do…being always told to keep arms passive and open as fast as possible. We would certainly appreciate a video on the arms down first. Is it a muscular driven thing or relax the arms, letting them fall and then turning? Thanks for posting!!

Thanks. Appreciate your support!!
I started using keeping the back to target during the summer, it's an absolute game changer. 👌🏼
Great to hear!!

watched your guys video on grip when I first started. Now I found this gem. Thanks gentleman.
Great to hear!
Well done guys great job 👏 😊
Thank you 😀
Can you do an updated video on how to fix if you are casting as you swing?

Put the iPad a bit closer to the ball and it should definitely discourage hitting out to in!

We will keep the sock game in mind 😂. Glad you enjoyed the content
Does it apply for irons too? Letting the arms fall before turning
Good question, I have a harder time to get a good path with irons.
for irons shots that are longer than pitch shots, yep same. dont want to go over the top with them either.
It can do. You just have to make sure you still shift your weight as we want to hit ball then turf
@ thank you, I’ll give give it a try
So how does one not hit the ground by the right foot?
The body will rotate, just a little later than usual
