I’ve owned this bow now for over a year and shot over 8000+ arrows with it. It still performs like new, maybe even better. I shoot in all weathers, cold, sun, snow, light rain and it’s fine. I saw a video from Grozer suggesting to unstring very slowly which I’m in the habit of doing now. Amazing bow and one of the best I own for sure.
Same for me! An awesome bow, and I love the Xylophone sound it makes. Only drawback: holding arrows in the bow hand does not really work with this handle shape, particularly on horseback. Other bows perform better in this respect.
So here's my question. Could you kill a deer with it? I've been checking out these Grozers but I don't want one if I can't hunt big game with it. What do you think?
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me

Also one of my favourites ! VERY impressive ! SOOO easy to shoot. Once I've shoot 803 grains wood arrows, spin 80# a friend of mine shoots with his 75# longbow. Not perfect since my Assyrian weight is only 48# at my draw (28 1/4) but he shoots it fine ! This bow is really a beast.
Sadly this bow has nothing to do with the real assyrian bow desing. Looking at the stone carvings their bow looks nothing like these modern supposedly assyrian bows
@@jkre True. This bow looks more like a bad-made ottoman bow, not like the bows Assyrians used. Its a real irony that the only bow on the market which is closer to the original assyrian bows is made by AFArchery...

Amazing Armin, I have the same bow same poundage. It is a well crafted bow and one of my favorite shooters. Very smooth. I believe the simulated horn is some type of resinous material. Grozer also builds bikes with it. It looks and works well without the shortcomings of real horn.
Question about the 60 degree string angle: You mentioned in a video that you look for the 60 degree angle for max efficiency at max draw length. I wonder if having the 60 degree angle at a lower draw length than max would make for a more forgiving shooting experience? Instead of a high-stress launch at max power/efficiency, could the arrow release have a soft build to max power, a little like a compound bow. If that's the case, could that allow a greater range of arrow weights and spines, especially shooting with khatra or torque techniques? Very curious what you think. Oh, and that Assyrian bow is AMAZING! Love that style bow, very similar to certain Native American bows from the West Coast....
Quick question Armin, I just checked on mine, and the brace height is only 7,5 inch, what does it changes in term of draw/shooting experience to increase it to 8 inch ? I never noticed anything wrong with the bow, but i may have missed something.

Beautiful bow. I started in Trad archery , but I am currently getting out of it and selling my two prized Fred Bear Recurves for a target compound. I will miss shooting recurves. It is nice to watch Armin showing off those beautiful Turkish and Assyrian bows . Those are my personal favorites
Still love these bows, but a composite or biocomposite bow in France where the weather and climate tend to be wet and cold+ warm between summer and winter. Wouldn't take that risk, otherwise, this bow is a beauty
These bows are made with modern epoxy, these are not any more sensitive to moisture than any other modern glass laminate, cus thats what this bow is, it is just dressed as horn bow, but it does have glass back and belly and same laminated core as any other modern glasslaminate bow. I own grozer assyrian biocomposite
Its the fish (or hide, what ever is used) glue that makes composite bows sensitive to moisture, but cus this bow doesn't have neither of those, it is not moisture sensitive.
If I understood his process correctly, the biocomposite bows use actual wood, horn, and sinew. The horn and sinew are both prepared over time by some secret method which results in maleable plates of each material. The only modern material in the biocomposite bows is the glue; in the true composite bow he makes, he uses "fish glue". Grozer has a video on TH-cam explaining it.
Ok, but how do you order from Grozer? I tried on the website linked from his website but it's just all out of stock... Do you just send him an email? Any discount for Armin's followers ;-) ? I really want a biocomposite hunnish...

Why?
Another good one.
Hey, what kind of thumbsaver do you use?
I alread have a thumb ring, but unfortunately to small.
Recently one from archers tidbits, did a video a few days ago
A real beauty.
What arrows do you use? Wooden, aluminium or carbon ?
Mostly carbon
@@ArminHirmer If I may ask 1 more question. What is shaft diameter of those carbon arrows ?
@@GameOver-fn2og the usual 6.5 mm or 6.2? standard
Nice bow

will see what I can do
@@ArminHirmer okk ...thnxx
I use this bow all the time in snow, cold, wet etc and it’s fine. There are limits to anything but this is robust.
I have had one for over a year,I live in Wales on a mountain that has the wettest, most damp conditions you will find, the bow is still perfect.!
it was the golden era (age)👌
What color is this one?
ghah! you got me. Just ordered one! (it was in stock so it won't cause delay for you! heh)
Already shipped! looking forward.
Arrived. already my most beautiful bow right out of the box. and it makes the exact 'snap' sound upon shooting! I have only had it 5 minutes~
For €385 I would order it immediately
Beautiful bow.... I hate that stringing method
You should warm up the limbs sufficiently so we can see consistent speed readings. Shoot it a bunch then measure at the very end.
To me Its more like a hybrid of westrwn angular/legolas bow😂❤
Ok, but how do you order from Grozer? I tried on the website linked from his website but it's just all out of stock... Do you just send him an email? Any discount for Armin's followers ;-) ? I really want a biocomposite hunnish...
I messaged him on Facebook and we finished with email. No voucher code sorry. email: bowman@t-online.hu
@@ArminHirmer Thank you so much! I can't wait to try one of these beauties!
Idk.. I'm liking the sound of this bow... The look.. I bet it's expensive though
same string problem here
too long and also center serving is verry thin
i follow up when i have the right BCY center serving ...
18 strains 2.5 loops 50.75 inch D97 BCY with 0.018 Center serving
Less than 2 sec of Vibration
What arrows should i get for this bow? It came this week, and my local shops got nuthin, if anyone has a link to some affordable arrows that are stylistically congruent with the bow, lay em on me
What poundage ?
Gorgeous just like the artwork pieces. Sexy and powerful. Cheers and thanks for the review.
You make it so hard to choose another bow to add to the collection 😭😭😭
Got a 70lb recurve from
With all the time you spend with bows and you don't own a quiver yet? Looks like it's time for quiver reviews.
Now 445 Euros, they have changed the price.
still a great value for what you get
