    Thanks for the tutorial, I've never done a slip on flange but now I dare to try it. Love those crystal clear arc shots, they are awesome! BTW I bet that paint smelled nice 😁

    Nice work man. Tig looks nice when done right, but as you were saying production environment changes things. In my job we would just use an outer shield flux wire, start at the bottom and weld to the top. that whole flange would be done in 4 welds.

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment bud. Yeah, it all depends from production environment and welding procedure specifications.

    Nice video
    What are the regulations regarding welding close to the flange face. A place i work at like a 6mm recess from flange face to pipe edge. Then filled right out to the face! Is their a set distance the weld should finish away from the face

    If stainless, how do you purge a slip on? Do you just tape the opening and do a single weld on the outside and not weld the inside?

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don’t purge, just weld same as it is carbon!

    Odlican video ka i uvik! Da bi dostiga covik ovaj tvoj nivo, triba puno iskustva, fenomenalan si! 👍🏻Htio san te pitat, zasto si bas otisa radit u Kanadu, zar nije tamo uzasno hladno? Zasto ne Amerika ili Europa? Fala lipa i nastavi samo! 😊

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hvala na komplimentu brate! Da odgovorim na pitanje; u Ameriku nije tako lako otic radit, pogotovo u vrijeme kad sam ja iso za Kanadu , imaju oni puno zavarivaca tako da bi tesko dobio radnu dozvolu, a u Kanadi sam vec imo ponudu od kompanije koja me je i sponzorilala. U Europi sam vec bio, tako da mi je zelja bila da odem preko bare i probam nesto drugo. Jedini problem je sto je ovdje zaista hladno zimi, temperature idu ispod -40 celzija i nize s vjetrom, a zima traje i do 7 mjeseci 🫣. Ostao sam duze od planiranog, radim na nekim pregovorima da idem negdje dalje pa cemo vidjeti sta ce biti u tom segmentu. Uglavnom mogu samo juznije 😉

    My question. Are u employee or you are running your own bussines? If you employee maybe it is time to think about your bussines, not working for someone else and putting theme money in to the pocket. You’ve got brilliant skills, knowledge and experience. It is time to make some big $$$. Think about it. Don’t waste time to make someone else rich.

    • @X3MTIG

      Hey my friend, thanks for your comment! I’m doing both, in winter time I’m hiding somewhere indoors as employee, and in summer I’m contracting. 😉

      You have a good idea Tata, but something tells me that X3M doesn't just do it for the money, I believe he truly enjoys his trade. I think its great that he decided to make videos because its such a pleasure seeing skilled welders shar their knowledge. The money is just a plus at the end of the day

    • @tata2692

      @@jovannygaray4313 my friend, working for him self still can bring him happines od what he doing, plus more money, because will get his own money.
