Tony I got to say to you I have been trying (and mostly failing) to play guitar for years and have seen a million different teachers and videos but something about your channel and the way you teach has clicked with me and made me want to play every day since I first saw you on TH-cam. So thanks mate and keep up the good work
This video just blew my mind. I just started learning a couple months ago now, and your explanation of the notes on the fret board, understanding the key that you're playing in, and the chords and notes that go in that key just made so much sense. You're a great teacher, brother.
Awesome lesson again Tony....gonna have a go at writing something using this as a template ...always wanted to write a song about growing up in the 80s but didn't know where to start...cheers fella ...
Been watching a few of your vids and like the way you teach so much so I subbed, you break things down to an understandable level, the past 2 years I've dedicated myself to banjo with a couple of live teachers but after I came across this channel I'm beginning to pick up the guitar again, well, I do have 20 to pick from and got a resonator being delivered today thanks to this channel,
Thank you so much for subscribing and for your kind words! I'm delighted to hear that, my friend! I'm sure you'll enjoy playing that resonator once it arrives! Just keep having fun! Cheers! 🤗
Thanks so much Tony, this is exactly what i need for where i am with playing. Id struggled to get my head around progressions....this has made it so much clearer. Cant say thanks enough.
I found your channel last week. You caused something to break in my head and suddenly my playing is progressing quickly. I've only been learning for about a year, and was feeling so stale and ready to give up. It was the E minor trick video, I'm not sure what it did, but something has unlocked in my head. Thank you!!!
@@jack-dy7cx Thank you! I've never been more on fire for this. My doubts are gone ..I know I can do this now. Interesting what a little bit of the right information at the right time can open up!
