AMS nailed it. If you want to build yourself into the future, YOU NEED TO BRING DOWN YOUR MONTHLY EXPENSES! This is why buying a nice car (car payment), an expensive apartment, jordans, fitness swag, watches, jewelry etc, isn't so good for a young man whose trying to build himself up. All this is doing is eating away what little you're able to save/invest (in yourself) at the end of the month. THEN - you take that extra money and use it to build/buy what you need in order to gain a skill or create a lane that'll pay you over 6 figures down the road. - IN ADDITION, AMS nailed that part where you should aim for a job that doesn't overwork you long hours. You need a little time/energy left over to work on your stuff after hours. Take this route, OR work a long hour job (oil field) but then save a stack of money after 1-2 years so you can quit that job and take 6-12 months off to build yourself while working part-time somewhere else.

Just turned 25 and definitely feeling the pressure. Was striving for my dream and was putting in the work but unfortunately it was in event work, an industry that has been absolutely decimated by current circumstances. Had to move home from Australia back living with the parents, girlfriend broke up and basically fell into the darkest hole of my life, everything I worked so hard for and strived towards crumbled. Trying to rebuild myself piece by piece again. Hopefully I come out of it stronger. The frustration is very real though because I put in the work, I made the sacrifice but it was all for absolutly nothing but wasted youth.

Spot on. Was 23 and just an electrician for a big company. Wasted all my money, partying, living out of home, bad stuff etc. Moved home, started a my own business, worked my ass off, was always fair and word of mouth did the rest. Had money behind me, studied history, science, maths, money and invested in crypto reasonably early. 5 and half years ago. Just turned 32, own my own home, have money behind me, have my gardens and chickens. Blessing yes. But it was all me.

Need some extra advice.I've invested into crypto 1.2k and a lil in stocks 3.5k. Should I still play around in this with "disposable income" or should I get another investment. I work a 70 - 90k job without a woman currently late 20s real talk. Is there a point where crypto and stock start turning into an addiction as well?

@@arnoldsadinmaa1443 Hi Arnold. Hope you are well. I really don't know what to tell people as I could end up being wrong. I would suggest if you haven't already, a small amount of precious metals. I would tend to be more heavy on the silver side compared to gold. That is a very valid remark at the end there. It does. But you need to play it smart. Not get too heavily invested at once or try and chase some new crypto. Stick to the mains and dollar cost average in. That is what I have done all along. With a few big purchases on some big dips.

Trade jobs are literally the best way for people to get their life going. I went to work for a job that builds scenery for Broadway at 19 after taking a year off after graduation because I didn't know what to do with my life. At 23 I have a bunch of money in my bank account and I have a skillset of carpentry, welding, rigging, some electrical, etc... Yesterday I became a Journeyman Carpenter and now I can pretty much go work anywhere I want! Most people don't wanna do a trade because of what people think of them but fuck them! I make 6 figures with zero financial stress, but almost everyone I know at or above that level has burdened themselves with the fancy car, the nice house, etc. etc. They have a nice lifestyle but have no more free cash flow than when they were making $30-40K.

If you just outta high school don’t be like all your friends if they not planning nothing find a skill that you like and work for it and when you 23-25 you goin end up being a boss. If you 25+ it’s not too late for you you just gotta change your attitude and get a plan it’ll workout.

Guys what’s the fastest way to level up I’m 24 and fucked around never went to college feel like college gone set me back because I would work less and save less and spend 5 years to get a degree then have debt. Skilled trades? Or information technology I’m stuck between these two for skilled trades I’ve narrowed it down to plumbing and electrical and IT because I heard you don’t need a degree for IT, being a salesman is another one but becoming a sales man with no money is probably a horrible idea, I’m aware you can make 6 figures fast and it’s probably the fastest route, wouldn’t say I’m the sales type of guy. Thoughts? Advice?

Things that help me get my life right coming from a single parent home without a pot to piss in
1 I knew I couldn't afford the reprocuss of sex. I.E. having a child, catching a disease, hell paying for condom and birth control (the kind that goes in their arm). Which is why I stayed a virgin for so long almost till 21.
3 always make sure you both go together and get an STD AND STI TEST DONE. And then openly share the results if she doesn't want to share or even get the test done do not engage in any sexual activities as thats someone who is irresponsible and has zero value for adult discions.
    2. If she's not someone you can see yourself at a minimum co-parenting with in a civil manner, in the event that the relationship doesn't workout don't engage in any sexual activities. Laws aren't in our favor boy's look up "father registeries" or " parental father registeris"
4 figure what what your values and morals are and then live it.
5 Joining the military (Army). A free education, no down payment on a house, and an almost guaranteed business loan we set up any man for success. it also forces you to grow up fast, and stand on your own.
    6. When it comes to women, I personally don't approach but I am approachable. No need to be the dog chasing the car, when the car will just come to you (as long as you got your shit together) and then you can choice if she's worth your time energy and money.
7 read up on the statics for having children in the first 3-5 years of marriage. And you'll know that its a bad idea to do so, your only legal rights to your sprem are to choose to or not too ejaculate. If you don't feel yall can make it 5 years a kid isn't gonna hold the relationship together but make it worse.
these are rules i came up for myself when I was 17, I'm 29 now . So I'm still figuring things out. But over all things are great. Getting my bachelors in IT (out the army now) married for 10 years normal issues but nothing crazy. Hope this helps someone, and I hope you all have a happy life.
Edit GO TO THERAPY! I don't about yall but my child hood was crap. I carried a lot of stuff with me for a while, until I went and talked to someone. You just gotta find a therapist that works for you.
