Replacing the door lock on a Porsche 944. With chapters!

I did the same exact mistake as you with the handle latch not being seated properly when refitting the handle after a repair. Now my door won't unlock and I'm pretty much where you started this video out. Wish I had a video probe now...

if you roll the window down, you can sort of access some of the mechanism from there to unlock the door

@@ThingsBreak Thanks! I forgot to update here, but I did just that, but with no luck. I eventually borrowed a video probe from a friend and managed to get the door open in the same fashion as you. This video was of great help!

I have to press and pull on my driver side l. I already tried grease and nothing, what could it be ??
I also notice that the main door hinge is not attached and there broken screws, it's only been held by the upper and lower hinges ..

Something must be wrong with the mechanism. I could not figure out why my old one would jam up, but the used replacement has been working fine.
