- The video gives you a step by step manual how to repair a central lock system, shown at my Porsche 944. The video demonstrates the diagnosis which leads to a broken connection rod and the the repair including the dismantling of the door trim panel.
Das Video gibt eine Anleitung zur Reparatur einer Zentralverriegelung, hier gezeigt an meinem Porsche 944. Das Video beginnt mit der Fehlersuche, welche zu einer gebrochenen Koppelstange führt, und zeigt dann die Reparatur inklusive des Ausbaus der Türinnenverkleidung.

Видео начинается сдемонтрации и поиска неисправности в двери водителя. Полностью снимаем обшивку и находим виновника неполадки - сломанный шатун. Затем показываем его замену и сборку внутренней панели двери.
Mine hasn't been working for ages - today I checked the fuse - it was broken. I changed it for another 15 one - but it still didn't work although the actuator moved. I checked this plastic linkage and it had indeed come off ... reattached it and it's now working a treat. The permanent red light has gone out now on the switch as well. Great video, thanks again.

Don't suppose you have any plans to make a video for replacing the window seals? I'm struggling with the outer scraper.
Ty sir, good thing it was the $3 plastic rod instead of any one of these other lock parts that are $$$$. The rod on the door handle is about the same size with a few more pieces but it is 20x to 30x more expensive.

Bei mir (S2 Cabrio BJ 1990) geht die ZV auf der Beifahrerseite ganz normal wie sie soll. Schließt man die Fahrerseite auf, so kann diese zwar beide Seiten öffnen, aber NUR die Fahrerseite schließen.
Das Aufschließen geht sehr leichtgängig, das abschließen fühlt sich sehr schwer, eigentlich nur mechanisch an. Der Microschalter an der Fahrerseite ist neu, das Schloss innen und außenteil ebenfalls. Auch die Plastikstangen sind alle ersetzt. Was könnte das sein?

Hi, the number of the part is 944 537 511 00. Power windows have been available starting with modell II. Then the part hasn't changed until the end of production. Greetigs, Jürgen
