Listen to yourself…this isn’t about the money, it’s about the CAR. He’s had this since he was a kid and now he has the money and the appetite to make this great again. These guys are the gurus that can make this shit happen. It’s not easy but it’s great to see what their up against.
Keep it real and go to Car Max if you like just another vehicle.

Found myself watching the whole of this and it rekindled memories of when I did the same for a restoration on mine over 10 years ago. The holes in the door are far too small , especially when you have to wrestle the window regulator and rails and glass! What I have just learnt from you is removing the pins from the mirror wiring plug to remove the mirrors. I ended up cutting mine off and having to rewire - stupidly.
I'm looking at this because I wanted to remind myself of door frame makeup , as I'm going to add some sound deadening to doors.

Great idea, there are so many things available now that were not back then.

Not sure if I learned it from your videos or not, but that broken weld will eventually crack on the other side and show through the door.
Thought I’d share if I learned that from somewhere else

Yes it will. When the car goes to the bodyshop, they'll fix that. I'll have a sit down with Jeff, we'll discuss all of the little things as well as the massive amount of rust. Thanks for watching!

Would love to pick your brain on my 944S. Cooling fan issue, low speed not working: 20+ years of working on this, not new to the 944. Help please.

Yeah, this is rough one. The owner has a sentimental attachment to it. We're able to give him a bit of a discount because he is giving us the time to work on it as our side project at a rather slow pace. Please follow along and see it all happen.
there are more surprises and cars coming up! Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it..

@@sailorjerry2 HI Jim, thanks for watching. I'm glad you're enjoying then vids. We don't have a budget set for this car. We're giving the owner a nice deal because he is giving us the time to do this. We are mainly using this for promotion purposes. I went to a lot of Porsche schools over many years.

I'm currently doing an 87 944 turbo resto/mod. I'm betting this will run to $100K once it's completely finished. Great channel and keep up the good work.
