After some cuddles and belly rub, Sparky, my 3year old beagle will sleep with me sharing my pillow for the first hour or so. Then he'll sleep on my bed near my feet for a few hours. Thereafter he goes off to sleep in his own bed that's placed right beside my bed. I have often found him awake at night sitting straight up right near the door!
Sparky has quite the bedtime routine! It’s so sweet that he starts out by sharing your pillow for some cuddles. His little nighttime wander to his own bed and then standing guard by the door shows how much he loves being close and protective. Beagles really do have a mind of their own, don’t they? Sounds like you’ve got a loyal night watchman.
I have 2 indoor kids. My Beagle Jesse is right beside me or using me as his pillow every night! My American Foxhound Victoria gets her goodnight hugs and kisses and sleeps either at the end of my bed or in her own bed... which is like a bed for a princess 💖
How heartwarming! Jesse sounds like such a loving companion, and I love that Victoria has her princess bed. They’re both lucky to have such a caring home! 💖
That's adorable! It must feel like having your own cozy, protective cuddle squad! Rottweilers are known to be such loyal and loving companions sounds like a full bed, but filled with love.
@@TheDogBrain-p2f yes it was. 1 night I laughed hard. My wife is a light sleeper. Ralph my Rottweiler snores like a human woke my wife up. My wife poked Ralph in his chest. Ralph looked at my wife. My wife told Ralph "roll over your snoring woke me up. Ralph said huh? "
@@rickking5138 Haha, that’s hilarious! Ralph sounds like he’s got some real personality! The fact that he looked at your wife like, “What? I’m just here trying to sleep too!” is too funny. Dogs really do act like they’re part of the conversation sometimes, don’t they? I guess he’s just too comfy to worry about his snoring! 😆
Haha, I get it! Clickbait titles can be like those squeaky toys dogs can't resist, but once you get past the squeak, the real fun (or info) is inside. Thanks for sticking around despite the squeak!

My rescue Cairn Terrier slept on my pillow across the top of my head! She would start out next to me.
Sounds adorable! She must feel so safe and loved being close to you.
My two boys sleep with me, when we go to bed they are together on one side, during the night they move close along my back/body😍
That sounds so sweet! Nothing beats the comfort of snuggling with your kids! 🥰
Both my Rottweiler males slept in bed with me and my wife 1 slept between my wife and I and the other 1 slept on the other side of me.
