My dog is simply amazing. He looks so comfy fast asleep on the bed , and when he looks at me with those big brown eyes, he just melts my heart , I'm the luckiest person in the world to have his love ❤️
@AIuzky it's a love that can't be labeled. It's the purest most faithful love. If you don't understand what I'm talking about I hope some day you will.
1) sleeping with you 2) mirror your personality 3) listening to you, but not others 4) laying in your laundry 5) knows when your upset 6) always “checking in” with you 7) specific stare
@Kevin-vg4hu that's funny. I have one too but she will sleep with me if I let her. Sometimes she goes against the stories of the Shiba, but most times she is definitely a Shiba 😅
At my age I have had many fur- friends come and go and no two have ever been alike. They all had different likes, favourite toys and places and unique behaviors. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to cherish each and everyone 💘. Bless all those who love animals and treat them with kindness ❤❤
Thanks for this. My dogs can truly feel my emotions. My 11 yr old dog would stay by my side and look at me when I feel down. Dogs are such a blessing to humans.
I just lost my companion yesterday and these are all the signs that he showed. It just made me see how he loved us more than I even imagined and it is absolutely heartbreaking. I hope he is in a better place now with tons of treats and toys and I just hope I can be good enough in this life to see him again when I pass.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved companion is incredibly hard, but it's clear how much he loved you and how well you cared for him. 🐾 He's definitely in a place filled with endless treats and toys now. Sending you love during these difficult times 💖🌈
Dogs are the best - they taught me everything I needed to know - loyalty, love, responsibility, mindfulness and death. I think about all my past dogs every day without fail. When I die I hope to see them again
When I went to puppy school for the first time with my ten week old Great Dane puppy all the pups had to run to their owners over a playing field. Flynn my pup amazed me by being the only one who ran in one straight line to me without even looking at anything else but me.He is now four years old and my absolute best friend. I love him to bits ❤
I just put my dog down last Friday. He had come down with acute liver failure. I noticed jaundice in his eyes and gums the Thursday before hand. Took him to the vet that Friday, they ran labs, and his liver enzymes were through the roof. I made the decision to let him rest and by 12:00 that afternoon he was gone. What I thought would be an easy fix turned into losing the best friend I had ever had. He was 13 and had a dang good life and I will miss and love him everyday. He would sleep in my laundry, lay on my chest, give his version of kisses which was sniff sniff sniff, hard exhale, and he would hold guard outside the bathroom as I showered. He was my boy for 11 years of the 13 in his life and I’m thankful for him.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like your boy was an incredible companion, always by your side, showering you with love in his unique way. Letting him go was such a tough decision, but it came from the deep love and care you had for him. Sending you lots of love and strength during this time. 🌟🐾❤️
So sorry for your loss. I had to put mine down aged 15. I had her cremated and buried her ashes in her favourite spot. Hopefully we meet them again on the rainbow bridge. ❤💔
Same thing with my dog - high liver enzymes (I think from long term Rimadyl) - vet said would cost $6,000 to diagnose her but she was 14 (rottie mix) so had to put her down - think about her every day ❤
I love that my dogs immediately lay around me as I start playing the guitar. They will come from whatever part of the house they are in and stay for the entire performance. Gotta love the power of love and music.
Mine too. In fact, she tells me off if I don't practice. She's like, ok, I've had the treats; now, I want to lie on the sofa and you do that! She looks at the guitar quite meaningfully!
I love this comment! When I used to have cats the three of them would come running whenever I started to sing, and lie around me watching and listening. Cats are amazing too.
I just moved in with family and they have two Dutch Shepherds. They have both become my buddies. One of them gently bites my hand and is the first to greet me in the morning. And they have both started listening to me and behaving. Nothing more rewarding than the love of our canine friends. My favorite peeps.
Sounds like you’ve made some wonderful new furry friends! It’s so great to hear how quickly they’ve bonded with you. Thanks for sharing your joy with us! 🐾
My dog has followed directly at my side and has never left me in 6 years. He’s my best friend literally. The only one keeping me alive at my depressions lowest. I went into hospital and cried because I missed my boy. He’s an amazing baby.
@@nenasummers-shanafelt5126 No friend like a dog😖 No privacy if you have a dog No locking the bathroom door No holes in what you wore. Puppy loves you holes and all... Licks and kisses at...all near misses!
@SauronSmokes42069 It was pure peaceful vibrant light. Totally calm. On another occasion, I saw beautiful gold streets, emerald trees and my dogs and loved ones. Breathtaking. God bless
My Doberman Josie takes care of me when my epilepsy makes me has a seizure. Glad you're still alive. I sometimes worry about dieing from having a seizure because some ppl have (including celebrities). Glad I have Josie. Let's continue to have our doggy best friends.
Same with me. I never had a dog until I was in my fifties. When my mom died a friend of mine brought a stray pit bull to me that had walke into a pub where he was playing music. Someone had likely dumped him. He brought him to me because I had just bought a house in the country and was sort of down and by myself. That dog made a huge poitive impact on me. That was over six years ago and I still have him, plus another pittie I rescued from the shelter. He looks back at me whenever we are outside to see if Im'm there. My girl sleeps with me and stares into my eyes for long periods and sits on my lap. I am now a total dog person. They are my children, and I would do anything for them. I'm also sure that if I was threatened by anyone, that person would have a very, very bad day. That said, my friends all love them because they are so sweet and friendly. Dogs are made for us and we for them.
@@pittiedaddy-j8s Very well said!! I enjoyed reading your response. I’m glad you were able to get the company of those dogs and feel that love. They are a huge addition to your life. I wish you all the best together and all the love for one another!

I am on my 4th dog since 1973. They all lived long lives. I Have labradoodle who sleeps with me. I have learned so much over the years about my dogs. They were all happy dogs. My former dog lived up to 16 years. Each of them were unique in their own way. Can’t live without them! Saying goodbye is the most difficult.
What a beautiful journey with your dogs! 🐶❤️ It sounds like you've given each of them such a happy and loving life. It's amazing how each dog has their own unique personality. Saying goodbye is always the hardest part, but their memories live on in our hearts. 🌈
I lost my cocker spaniel over a year ago and he was the sweetest thing, I grew up with him and he showed many of these signs. I can't wait to be reunited with my sweet boy in heaven one day!! Dogs are blessings!!!
It’s been 5 since I lost my Hiro. They are amongst God’s greatest treasures, and we should be blessed to have had time to love them. They will be waiting for us, and in the meantime Nana is taking care of him up there :)
I feel the same way. My soulmate pet doggie was my life, my sunshine. I loved her, she loved me. We communicated with our eyes. Her daddy ran over her 11/16/23. I still cannot look at him. He was negligent, always assuming everything, no common sense. I cry every day and every night. My life ended that night. I miss my Pepa.
@@diapricea4888 I’m so sorry. My Hiro was that dog for me too, though he only had 1 eye due to glaucoma at an early age. Saved his right eye through continuous treatment. For the next 10 years he operated like nothing had happened; it didn’t slow him down one bit. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on that dog, and I’ve have spent it all if it could have helped in the end. It’s going to hurt for a very long time, but it’s better to hurt having known their love, than to let it fade from memory.
@@I_SuperHiro_I thank you for saying that, better to have known my little Pepa than never to have known true love. I'm crying now, she was the greatest joy in my life, and it's been a tough one. I am looking forward to seeing her again. I enjoyed hearing your loving words about Hiro. My son, 46, died suddenly unexpectedly 7/7/23. He had moved into his grandparents house an hour south, was starting a new life there. Around 4 months before he died i told him he needed a dog, now we have his 85lb Mastiff, Buddi, he is gentle as a kitten. My Pepa was with me grieving with me when my son died. She weighed about 15 lbs. She welcomed Buddi, it was a joy the watch them play. Buddi was left again to grieve. I understand about the $$$, I'd give every $ in my bank account to have her back. The vet charged over $2,000 to tell us she was dead, when we walked in with her. I can't be in the same room with him (ex husband) now. She was my everything. A rat terrior, my protector.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like your cocker spaniel was a truly wonderful companion. Dogs really do leave paw prints on our hearts, don't they? 💕
A home is not a home without a dog, a family is truly fulfilled when they have a dog❤I grew up always having a dog friend in my childhood home and now my children have never known our home without a dog ❤ we have three and wouldn't have it any other way..... Children raised with dogs create the best adult dog owners🐶💋
Not a single dog smarter than a single human (barring EXTREME mental problems) if i said, "humans are big and strong, stronger than most bears!!!" Youd think i was crazy
I had a friend whose dog died she was so depressed she wouldnt eat .go out .etc i asked her why she doesnt get another.she said no..she loved that dog..would never find another .couldnt go through the grief etc.a few weeks i didnt recognize her She looked awful etc.i told her about a wonderful rescue dog that needed food long story short, she adopted her and she was so happy and beautiful I didnt recognize her
It's always heartbreaking to hear about someone losing a beloved pet, and the grief can be overwhelming. 💔 But it's wonderful that you were there to support your friend and help her find a new companion when she was ready. It sounds like the rescue dog brought a lot of joy and healing into her life. Thank you for sharing this uplifting story! 🐾 Sometimes, a new furry friend can truly help mend a broken heart. 🌟
It hurts (trust me on this), but it's always good to find a new dog once your previous one has passed; especially a rescue dog who always needs a good home.
My dog (adoptrd from shelter) is amazing. I have depression and thanks to her I'm better. She knows when I need close contact. We never sleep separated, she has to be with me and she has to have her head over me. Eye contact? She loves it. And if I want to talk, she is listening and I see how she's trying to understand.
So sweet to hear about your sweet pup. I miss mine so much. My Pepa slept with me and always had to be touching my leg. If I went to the bathroom I'd tell her. If I was away too long, she'd come to me, like okay mom, what's going on. She slept a lot always with an ear up listening.
@@friedaclaxton5950 Thank you! Even my doc, when I told him I got new family member, said that dog is best antidepressive thing. And he's right. When I cry, she is with me, she try to lick my tears like - hey don't worry, I'm here, tell me what's wrong.

I’m a very proud dog Mama - I scored! - 7 out of 7 - this is especially gratifying since I recently adopted a 5 1/2 year old female GSD who was in a shelter for 7 months. We both knew we were meant for each other. When I was at the shelter and they let her out of her cage, she rushed over to me and all 90 lbs of her sat in my lap, my very beloved, Goddess Freya. ❤
Wow, that's a perfect score! 🌟 It sounds like Freya found exactly where she belongs-with a loving mom like you. Thank you for sharing your heartwarming story. We’re thrilled for both of you and wish you many joyful years together! 💖
Awwwwe!!! I adopted a female GSD from a shelter as well. She was abused and abandoned, stayed at the shelter for 3 weeks before she came home with our family, and she is my best friend. Truly made for me... her name is Inga!!! Your dogs name is what compelled me to comment. LOL.
@@leahelliott3585 - Yes, I fully understand. I’m very intrigued my Norse/Germanic mythology hence the reason for her name. If I ever get a male GSD, you may have guessed, his name will be Odin. Paws and hugs from Freya to your Inga.
My GSD is literally my best friend that i love more than anything in the world. Its just him and I and I cant picture my life right now without him. They play such a profound role in so many peoples lives.
One that wasn't mentioned here is when a dog opens its mouth and puts its jaw lightly around your wrist for a few seconds, but never bites down. My dogs do this all the time as either a sign of love, or that they're getting excited and want to play. They've never bitten down, not ever.
@@JuliaSkinner-tc5xj Together the 2 of you will get through this. I know the dog can't talk to you put he will be grieving as well. He'll look after you the best he can, so it's up to you and your family to look after him. Teach those Grandkids of the grandfather they've lost and pass on his lessons. Take Care of yourself.
I have 4 rescue dogs . who love each other. 2 of them is a bonded pair . They take care of each other . this has made me an advocate to take in a bonded pair .Wonderful to watch , & see how grateful they are to be together.
They respond positively to body language. If I want one of my dogs to go to a certain place, I only have to point. If I raise my fists like I’m about to fight, they’ll all come running to wrestle. They also generalize certain words to an impressive degree. If I say “careful”, no matter what they’re doing, they’ll slow down and look around for problems.
My American Eskimo Toy and I have worked out signals with my eyes. It freaks people out because they don't notice what I do with my eyes. I tell them "we have telepathy" and they believe it lol. Well on more understandable level, we kind of do but it's of course very explainable lol.
My husband passed away 3 years ago and since then my dog has changed so much she’s very obedient but she barks a lot and she sometimes growls when she is petted but I love her so much
I'm very sorry to hear about your husband's passing. It sounds like your dog is also feeling the loss and might be expressing stress or anxiety through her behavior. 🐾 It's great that you're providing her with love and support during this tough time. Sending you both lots of strength and love. 💖
I adopted 3 shelter pups from the same litter. The girl began sleeping beside me from the beginning. She's 13 now and curls up beside me even when I'm just taking a random nap. Her brothers had denser fur and preferred to sleep on cool tile. Except there was one winter when my utilities were shut off and all 4 of us spent the nights in a cozy warm nest of blankets on the floor. Three Dog NIght is not just a song title.
Sounds like you’ve shared some truly special moments together, and it's wonderful how your pups have their own unique preferences. Thanks for sharing your memories with us 🐾💕
That sounds so heartwarming! I can relate-there's something so special about having a pup by your side. I adopted three shelter pups from the same litter, and the girl always sleeps next to me. I remember one winter when my utilities were out, and we all cozied up together on the floor. It really felt like a true 'Three Dog Night' moment.I found the Dosty app online, and now I use it for all my pet care needs! It's been really helpful in managing my pups and their behavior. If you’re looking for tips, I definitely recommend checking it out
That's so sweet! It sounds like you and your dog have a wonderful bond. Belly rubs and walks are the best, aren't they? Thanks for sharing your special moments with us! 🐾
If you rub their hips, they'll love you even more. Trust me on this. 😊 I can't say the 'M' word because the Algorithm thinks I'm a Thai 'M' parlor, but you get what I'm saying. 😉
I have to say this a very specific way because of the Algorithm... If you "pet" (instead of the 'R' word...) your dog's hips, they will appreciate you even more. Trust me on this. 😊
I'm 54 and recently lost my best friend of 14 years. I take comfort in knowing that I helped give her the life and love she deserved and that she lived a good long life. But it still hurt. I have since started raising a puppy. What it taught me was that at my age, there is nothing left in life that humans could possibly do that would hurt me anymore. I have already lost everything there is to lose and i fear nothing now. I am a stronger person because of my dog. If I could survive losing her and accepting the physical death of a perfect, innocent soul, anything else is child's play.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's clear how much your best friend meant to you, and it's touching to hear how her memory has made you stronger. Raising a puppy is such a beautiful way to honor her legacy. Your resilience and love for your furry friends are truly inspiring. 🐶❤️ Stay strong, and cherish every moment with your new companion.
I was a "cat person" for a very long time. It wasn't until I started pet sitting, and until I got my own dog as a puppy that I've realized I'm just an animal person. My husband and I have 2 German Shepherds, our first from a breeder (she's 6 now) and our 2nd was adopted (he'll be 4 in July). I have anxiety problems, and my girl always knows when I'm struggling and will come comfort me. If I have a panic attack, she's there doing anything she can from licking me to pulling my hair to help me come out of it. They are very incredible creatures.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful story! 🐕💖 Your girl sounds like she has some serious superpowers when it comes to comfort. If only she could teach a course, we'd all be signing up! 😅
@@Smelly-Belly :) I was just at an ethanol plant the other day. It smells like corn chips, so it reminds me of doggo feet. I don’t know why doggo paws smell like Fritos, but they totally do 😂😂
@I_Super_Hiro_I Funny That You Say This, My Daughter Has 6 Euros Doberman's I Tell Her Dog's Smells Like Corn Chips Also, She's Always Grooming Them Even Rubbing Coconut Oil On Their Skin I Do This With My Dog Always After Brushing Her, It Doesn't Leave Your Dog Feeling Oily, You Can Even Put A Small Amount Into Their Food👍
Oh, thank you Louis for loving your Dad almost as much as I love you. Ok I know my buddy doesn’t check TH-cam comments but I just wanted the world to know how much I not only love my dog and best friend but how much I appreciate the gift dogs are for humanity.
Not all dogs mirror emotions the same way. I have severe depression and needed a dog who would be empathetic to my emotions, but who wouldn't take them on and mirror them back. It's one of the reasons I chose a golden retriever when I was looking at getting a service dog. My dog is excellent at knowing when I'm having a depressive episode and will act silly, bring me toys, and give me kisses to help bring me out of it, but he doesn't ever act sad or get depressed himself like some other breeds may be more likely to do.
That's so insightful! Golden Retrievers are such wonderful companions, especially for emotional support. 🐶❤️ It’s amazing how your dog knows just how to lift your spirits without mirroring your emotions. Thanks for sharing your experience! 😊🌟
If retrievers were humans, they would be that guy who makes everyone laugh all the time, no matter what stress everyone is feeling. My stepson has one named Nibbler, Nibbler and I literally collide every time I fly to his state and come visit the family there, he's the first to give me a hug when I arrive.
A girlfriend came in my house one day and saw my dog on my couch, and said " eew, that dog is on the couch, tell him to get down,! I said, "this dog has more rights here than you do, si no te gusta puede marchar! " And she did!
Sometimes my dog and I just lay next to eachother and just stare into each others eyes. I love her so much and she definitely is my soul dog. She trust falls on me constantly, always checks in on me, trusts me to clip her nails and touch her eyes for her eye medication. She is everything to me.
My daughter moved back home recently and brought her dog with her. We already have 2, one is a Chihuahia who is very attached to me. My daughters dog has shifted and prefers to spend time with me and my dog. It really hurts my daughters feelings, I feel bad, but my husband and I are very calm and use far more positive reinforcement and praise than scolding and I think between that and wanting to be part of the family pack rather than in the basement with just my daughter makes a huge difference.
My rescue puppy imprinted on me so strongly all within the span of a car ride home that i can't even leave him alone. He's a bit too strong in learned helplessness, but absolutely fearless and protects me fiercely. 7 month old swiss white shepherd ❤🐶
I had a husky that was absolutely amazing with me, but my friends said they had issues with her when they would watch her...she was the best dog i ever had and i miss her. Her name was Nanuke
It sounds like Nanuke had a very special bond with you. Huskies are known for their strong personalities and sometimes form very close attachments to their primary caregivers, which might explain her behavior with others. It's wonderful that you have such cherished memories of her. 🐾💙 Thank you for sharing about Nanuke.
One of my sweetest, smartest boys (Std Poo/ svc assist dog literally w me everywhere, but since passed) - EVERY MORNING waking up next to me, would instantly get the SHIVERS the second I'd start talking to him. That's truly doggie love....

So sorry for your loss. It's truly touching how our furry friends can sense our sadness and provide comfort in such difficult times. Sending lots of love your way. 💔🐾
When my dogs have a hurt paw or leg, they know I feel around their injured body to see what is going on. One time I was feeling around my dog's paw cause she was really favoring it. When I evidently touched the injured spot, my dog started to yelp really loud and took her mouth and clamped her teeth, very lightly on my arm as she was yelping. Her mouth lightly vibrated on my skin as I instantly pulled back. Being in pain, she could have bit down onto my arm to relieve her pain, but did not. I had to pet her alot just to reassure her. I was touched by my dogs actions and of course there is that saying 'dont bite the hand that feeds you'.
My dog shadows me too only problem is he’s small and sometimes I don’t know he’s there if I’m not paying attention. Sadly I step on him at least once a day. He will never learn. Lol
I saw a Belgian Malinois Police dog that imprinted on a guy who was hiding behind and old washer and dryer and the Malinois had the guys right calf in his mouth...it was a heart warming moment... well for me lol
I wish so much I could have a dog friend. I have had quite a few loving dog companions over the years but I'm getting old and have not been able to have one for almost 20 years. I'm nearing the end of my life and will soon pass on on without the wonderful forever love that a dog gives you. I still treasure every one I had in my life and thank God for them. They were always my most loving and faithful friends.
Your words are so touching and heartfelt. It's beautiful how deeply you've cherished your dog companions over the years. Their love and memories will always be with you, bringing warmth to your heart. Sending you lots of love and comfort 🐾❤️.
My Doberman bonded not long after I got her (same year actually I got her). She'll be 5 years old this year, was 2 years day I got her & trained her to stay off furniture (including my bed). Other than that, she's all these things in the vid. She has her own bed & sleeps near my mine. Great dog ❤
My little Angel did all of these things. She was such a joyful blessing to me during the darkest period of my life. She truly was a guardian angel for me. She did something else none of my other dogs ever did. We were walking and she suddenly stopped and was whimpering at me. I looked back and she was holding her paw up and staring at me expectantly. I went back and began searching on her paw and found a big thorn wedged into it. Now I have always tended to my dogs when they were hurt, but I never had one that seemed to truly understand that I could fix a pain. She also gave my leg a single little lick when I pulled it out, as if saying thank you. I never had one put all those things together like that: I would fix their pain, and that what I did was what fixed their pain.
Your little Angel sounds like she was truly special and deeply connected to you. 🐾💖 It's incredible how she trusted you to help her with that thorn, showing her understanding and bond with you. Her little thank-you lick must have been so heartwarming. She was indeed a guardian angel, bringing light and love during your toughest times. 🌟🐶
One caveat. I have had samoyed dogs for 25 years. In a heated space like a modern house, they can’t stay in your bed very long because they get overheated quickly. Mine stay a while and then go into the bathroom on the nice cool tile floor. I’m sure they would stay all night if I lived in Siberia where they come from.
I have the BEST dogs ever!! I have 3 big big babies and they r everything to me. They r my service dogs. They take care of me and make sure im ok. I could not be luckier. I am truly blessed
That's wonderful to hear! Working from home really does give us a special opportunity to create unforgettable memories with our furry friends. Thanks for sharing your experience! 🐾
I get to hold my first dog like a baby at night when sleeping. She also loves jumping and doing tricks. She has hurt her paw before and whined, looked at me and held up her paw and let me come pick her up and look at it. If angels are real, she is one.
I am here because I have to make sure they get breakfast in the morning. They’re the reason I stay. I miss my family. I miss my friends so feeling alone in this world. I’m lucky to have them. I’ll stick around for them. It’ll help me take care of my kids.
I’m really touched by your dedication and love for your furry friends. 🐾💕 They truly have a special way of giving us purpose and companionship. Hang in there-you’re doing an amazing job, and you’re never alone with them by your side. 🌟💖
I have a dog of almost 3 years old and he means the absolute world to me! My dog is mixed with Beagle, American Staffordshire Terrier (the reason I mostly fell in love with him), Miniature Pinscher, Chihuahua, and Cocker Spaniel!! There was a couple with his brother, and I fell in with the brother, because I could see some kind of Pitbull in the brother. I got my dog at almost 5 weeks old from an accidental litter of puppies, which he was in a very rough and filthy situation. It took me a little bit to figure out a name for him, but I named him Bentley! He has definitely imprinted on my life!
If your life and style permits, I'd encourage you to be owned by a dog. At least establish a relationship with someone else's dog. We made wolves dogs, they made us human.
I completely understand that feeling. Losing a beloved dog is so tough, and it can make getting another one really hard. 🐾❤️ The love and joy they bring into our lives is truly special, even if their time with us feels too short. 🐶✨
Dogs comforting you when upset sounds nice my dog actively leaves me when he knows I’m crying lol even after sleeping for an hour by me might have gotten my habit about ignoring my emotions
Lost my dog today, Bernese mountain dog, she was truly my shadow.. I was working for 2 weeks and my wife let me know this morning on my way home.. this house feels very empty
I lost my baby a year ago n I remember how quiet things felt I even laugh cause when I would eat n crumbs or a bit of food feel on the floor I wouldn’t worry cause my puppy would pick it up before I could grab it n when he was gone I remember food fell down n I waited to hear his running towards me but it didn’t happen but I’m glad to have given him a loving home n the most. Love I could give
My Gsd has imprinted on me 💯! Im the only one she knows since 8 weeks! Shes a west German working line female, she does alot of these!! And then some other goofy stuff! She has a goofy side! 🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️
Be sure to have her checked out for hip dysplasia. Our local vet never mentioned anything about it. She was writhing in pain so we took her to an out of town vet, now are due to have both hip replaced at ~$7000 a piece. So many preventative things we could have done to help with the dysplasia and arthritis that are so common in GSD’s. Hope this message finds you and your “baby” well.
@michaelhowell2609 my girls hips were guaranteed by the breeder and tested every 2 weeks at birth, and still every year at least by vet. they can test for that early believe or not, this is my 2nd service k9 gsd so I well know about the hips, plus everytime we go to vet they check them, they can't be service dogs with bad hips, I don't necessarily believe the guarantee thing? I mean yeah for $ wise but she's worth more than that! But it's not in her family tree either by the AKA, so? But thats strange that you woukd soend that much $ on a Gsd and not know about dysplasia? That's horrible nobody informed you!!! Thats the most common thing? And yes never let them sleep on a hard surface for along time! That helps alot!! Yeah but thanks so much for concern!! 👍
Sounds like you two have a wonderful bond! 💕 It's amazing how intuitive and devoted German Shepherds can be, especially when they form such a close connection from a young age. Thanks for sharing your story with us! 🐾❤️
Here's something worth noting. When I was a young teenager we adapted a dog. We were inseparable. I loved the dog and he loved me. We sort of lived for each other. He was loving with everyone in my family, but I was his human. As time passed and I grew up, I spent less time at home. A job, dating and hanging out with friends kept me away from home. I spent less time with the dog. We grew apart. The dog wasn't as close to me. I could see he grew depressed. I always loved the dog but as I got into my twenties I had to spend more time with school and work. Out relationship was never like it was when we were younger. Sadly, I came home from work one day and he had died during the day while I was out. He had a heart attack. My heart was broken. He was such a good boy. I still think about him, almost daily and I'm nearing 70. I think the worst time to adopt a dog and have a dog imprint on one person is in the teen years. Once you grow up there's less time for your friend because life hets more complex. And I 've heard this said - "No matter how much you love your dog, they love you more!" I really loved my dog. But I was growing up and that changed everything. Keep that in mind if you plan on adopting a dog. Timing is everything!! I hope I see my old friend in Heaven and he forgives me. I know he has to be there.🙏✝️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your heartfelt story. Your love for your dog shines through every word. Life changes quickly, especially during those transitional years, and it’s tough when those changes pull us away from our beloved pets. He’ll always be in your heart, and if there's a place where the best friends we lost wait for us, I'm sure he's there, wagging his tail and ready to welcome you with open paws. 🐾❤️
I have severe anxiety and My Dog dusty has same condition sadly I found DUSTY passed away in her sleep on the 15th April 🕯️🙏😪 our bond was beautiful i always played a game called spider my fingers were a spider it always tried to choke her push her head in pillow then I smacked my hand spidy you leave Dusty alone she started byting my fingers she loved sleeping alot with me miss cheeky monkey so much 😪🙏🕯️

I inhereted a choco lab after my SIL passed. She was 7 at the time and since then has not left my side except when i need to leave her home. If im not home but call home she will bug the person im talking to until they acknowledge that yes mama is on the phone and will be home soon. I could not ask for a better furbaby to take care of into her golden years. She will be 9 this december and I know I may only have 5 maybe 6 more years with her and it hurts to know that time is so short but blessed to know she will be with us as her forever home.
My roommates (married couple) have a husky, and I have a very special bound with their dog. I started to miss him so much when I’m at work. He gets so excited when he sees me, when he plays with me, he begs me for belly rubs, he looks at me like he is in love with me, he sleeps in front of my door etc. We literally speak without words, I feel like I know what exactly he thinks and he actually knows what exactly I think. Now I don’t know how I will be able to move out..
When i was sick from a very severe respitory infection my dog would not leave my side for days. I went to bed on a friday and did not wake up again till tuesday...he wouldnt eat unless his food and water bowl was in reach of where I was laying. He also skipped walks to the bathroom unless he absolutely had to go.

My baby used to sit and stare at me for hours sometimes always with a happy face I would always wonder if she wanted something but it would continue even after giving her a treat/ or checking if she needed something else today I got to know it was just love ❤️ I miss her so so much 😢

My dog "learned" to enjoy the fruits and veggies I started eating for myself at treats. She mirrored me so hard that she can recognize the snap of a fresh apple across the house
The fact that some people get a dog and treat it with apathy and indifference or even abuse it makes me sick. Dogs aren't just pets, they're part of the family.

It's wonderful that you followed your heart and found a way to honor Andy's memory by giving another deserving dog a loving home. 🐾 Thank you for sharing your experience; it's a beautiful reminder of the healing power of pets. 🌟
I, like many people, have always loved dogs! If a person is kind to the dog it will show that person loyalty, respect and loving companionship. I have often heard that dogs are angels in disguise. I become enraged when I hear that some people being cruel to dogs and other animals. Please, respect our animal companions...we all share the same world!
I prefer the company of dogs over people. People are deceitful, hateful, self serving....but not a dog. There is no other loyalty that matches that of a dog in my opinion.

I just lost my companion yesterday and these are all the signs that he showed. It just made me see how he loved us more than I even imagined and it is absolutely heartbreaking. I hope he is in a better place now with tons of treats and toys and I just hope I can be good enough in this life to see him again when I pass.

I love that my dogs immediately lay around me as I start playing the guitar. They will come from whatever part of the house they are in and stay for the entire performance. Gotta love the power of love and music.

I never understood the connection people have with their dogs till I got mine. They’re practically like children in your family!

I spent tens of thousands of dollars on that dog, and I’ve have spent it all if it could have helped in the end.
It’s going to hurt for a very long time, but it’s better to hurt having known their love, than to let it fade from memory.

They respond positively to body language. If I want one of my dogs to go to a certain place, I only have to point. If I raise my fists like I’m about to fight, they’ll all come running to wrestle. I'm 54 and recently lost my best friend of 14 years. I take comfort in knowing that I helped give her the life and love she deserved and that she lived a good long life. But it still hurt. Ok I know my buddy doesn’t check TH-cam comments but I just wanted the world to know how much I not only love my dog and best friend but how much I appreciate the gift dogs are for humanity.
That’s so sweet! ❤️ Dogs truly are a gift to humanity. Thank you for sharing your love for Louis with us. 🐶😊 Your bond is really special!
I love my dog so much. She’s just a puppy now but she’s already so sweet and loving. I’m so lucky to have her.

I think you a reading that very well.
My rescue puppy imprinted on me so strongly all within the span of a car ride home that i can't even leave him alone. He's a bit too strong in learned helplessness, but absolutely fearless and protects me fiercely. 7 month old swiss white shepherd ❤🐶

It's great to hear how they adapt comfortably between snuggles and finding their own cool retreat. Thanks for sharing this with us! 😍🐾

Mine too 💯 ❤
@michaelhowell2609 my girls hips were guaranteed by the breeder and tested every 2 weeks at birth, and still every year at least by vet. they can test for that early believe or not, this is my 2nd service k9 gsd so I well know about the hips, plus everytime we go to vet they check them, they can't be service dogs with bad hips, I don't necessarily believe the guarantee thing?

Life changes quickly, especially during those transitional years, and it’s tough when those changes pull us away from our beloved pets.
