Merry Christmas 2020 a.d. I just found you. Grrrrreat!!!!! CSX 3047 starting with coal train, chugging sound reminds me of GB&W #1 West with 4 ALCO's departing Norwood yard by 12th Ave., then switching back and forth to get more cuts, until ready by Oneida St., then rumbling uphill and passing the former Shopko store, Good Times, may GOD Bless all of you with A Very Happy New Year 2021 A.D.
Nice Job I had that CSX unit 3047 leading a CSX juice train rerouted train through Hershey,Pa on the NS Harrisburg Line when they had a derailment somewhere at that time
Sweet catches my man!!! That was cool seeing the third train go through both CSX! And my that was a KILLER CHUG from those GE's 7:26-8:26! Yes sir! Love that sound!
I once caught a two way meet over Sandusky bay bridge (only 2 tracks) in Sandusky Ohio, amazing! The bridge is a good 700 ft long. Sandusky Ohio is a must for railfaning
The trailing unit (#607) on the coal train will no doubt blow a cylinder soon. You can hear it when the motor throttles up and see the exhaust start to darken as the engine rpms increase . The rail fans farther down the line might see some flame......lol. The excessive rail squeal while pulling is a sign that you need at least 1 more locomotive in your lash up. I thought only the NS underpowered their trains. I see CSX does the same...lol. The thrill of railroading left me when they took my GP-35 from me. I was switching cars in the yard with an effin Dash 9. It assures you overtime every night. Money money money is all that matters to the big companies now.

That one short moment when all three engines alline perfectly: beautiful!
+John Dankler Yes!
This locomotive looks sturdy and strong. Greetings from Indonesia.
Wow! An ac6000cw and an ex conrail dash 8!
Excellent quality, merry Christmas
6:50 It's awesome listening to the engines on that coal train rev up and chug away
Wahoo was a long train, good video, thanks for sharing,
perfect timing... I just got my first triple meet in Waycross GA a few weeks ago, but not as perfectly as this one
+Milepost 282 Productions Oh sweet! Thanks!
Only at St. Denis!! Great video! RailFanX

+John Dankler Oh sweet! Ok ;)
Perfect movie, congratulations!
If you pause the video at 3:10, you can see all different generation GEVO’s, and that is CSX’s dream and a railfanner’s nightmare.
@That Michael Guy. Why do you say railfanner nightmare?
@@Mrcharles. because alot of railfans hate GEVOs
Was hoping they all 3 line up for a drag race to the signals
I was too.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Excellent video.
+iusetano Thank you!
CSX Trio. Also, a very nice 2nd Gen K5HL on #716.
+SuperWorldFan360 Yeah!
Great catch. It's really rare over where I live to see an older GEVO.
I really like American locomotives. Great video! Greetings from Finland. 👍
😁💗
@Jorma Gifu. Do you guys have passenger rail in Finland? We do too but it’s barely functional outside the northeast region.
Three beasts meeting that is cool
Awesome!!! And nice K5HL!
To bad the K5HL is only heard on freight trains. Would be very cool if there was a passenger system that had it.
Is it just me, or has St. Denis MARC station become a serious railfanning site?
Always a guy or two down there
Good vidéo 👍
102 vagoane! greetings from Germany, Romania
That coal train sure throttled up quick!
Do you know if it was a Newport News bound coal load?
Great video, by the way!
Sure did! It was Baltimore bound. Thank you!

+JT The Railfan Yeah! Thanks!!

I can’t tell if that 2nd locomotive was a dash 8 or used to be a Norfolk Southern?
