How to properly clean a throttle body. In this video I will show you exactly how to remove and clean a throttle body in a 1.9 diesel engine.
Cleaning the throttle body is an EASY DIY, and can help with a rough idle, check engine light, even sticking throttle.
Reprogramming or adapting a throttle body is also recommended after cleaning.
I used a carburetor cleaner for cleaning the throttle body, you can use air intake cleaner as well.

Did you remember to clean the air bleed hole out, it is easily missed, it is in the mouth of the throttle air opening and you will need something like a strong thin wire to clean the tube out.

What fault codes will this malfunction show on diagnostic? I'm getting throttle position sensor incorrect ratio fault codes. I changed the throttle peddle and sensor but getting another code saying incorrect throttle ratio 🤔. Any help would be amazing 😊

These are the codes related to the throttle body P2100, P2101, P2110, P2111, P2112, P2118, P2135.
What code did you have?

Figured it out, the connection to the throttle body was frayed. Re wired it. Problem gone

It might be the way of removing the Throttle Body on the Vauxhall but my Alfa GT 1.9 is not like this.

Hi,
If you have the 8 valve engine with 120 bhp then it should be the same, but if you have the 16 valve engine with 150 bhp then it's different.
