Good info. I was going to work in the garden today but instead i think I will spend the day sorting, photographing and listing some of the gigantic clutter of spare parts and tools I have out in the garage!
The used furniture market is so flat. I would rather sell something I can hold in my hand verses something that takes up all kind of of crazy space for the same money
The big old heavy saw has brushes and other replaceable pieces. the new stuff is disposable, you get what you pay for and like in Jurassic Park when the kid picks up the night vision goggles and askes "Are they Heavy? then they are expensive".
I like tools because they are easy to source. Records are ok because you can buy them cheap. but they have to be the right ones.. Find out how to use ebays "Completed listings feature. They hit the yard sales with your phone and dive it. Enjoy the hunt, its half the fun.

I'm sorry but you don't know what your talking about. You don't even know the correct name of some of your tools. You don't know the difference between junk and gold. This is just what I saw on this video. 45 years in the trades, 50 years as a picker for several dealers. Allan Rosen,

I see. I was curious to ask what you thought was incorrect. Was there a particular comment or approach I address that you would disagree with? or just in general?
@@TheResellersNetwork There are "linesman pliers" calling them pliers is like calling your dinner Animal parts and plant parts. I have many pairs of pliers in my shop. If I asked someone to get me a pair of pliers they wouldn't know what to get. In a box of what you didn't think were things that was worth much there was a pair of C1 crimpers. I'm retireing (I know it's spelled wrong) and selling off some of my tools. People in the trades expect you to know the proper name of the tools. I have high end tools I will be selling to professionals not home handy persons.
@@allanrosen3230 OK fair enough...For the sense of the video I was just blowing through... Before we list anything we do research, a ton of it. I have 2 full time researchers and all they do all day is research and write descriptions. When and if they went up for sale they would all be described correctly .. Thanks for your input... THANK TOU SO MUCH SIR 😮 I have been in a rut lately and i am glad i took time to watch this i saved it to my watch list a few times over just skimming through the hundreds if videos on how to sell i dont have a lot of tools but i do have hardware and were i want to try somthing like whatnot but im thinking of sticking to ebay and facebook market place i want to help others like me that are independent contractors and want to get that extra cash from the client by spending as little to nothing for small 15:07 things that are in the store shelf priced at ridiculous amounts, and there goes all of your little bit of money you could save yourself and these little things that are exspensive, are mainly left over to me from previous jobs and i have a couple totes full and understanding the selling process has been a little difficult. Because I'm a contractor and iv only bought never sold and I think I may have a small fortune on my hands in hardware alone. After watching your video today I think you are the only one that has mentioned hardware more.Now the problem is pricing,and I'm in the process of cleaning and sorting all of the little misolanious things and I know how much I paid but alot was left over from jobs so I'm not really taking a loss and I'm looking at this stuff in my mind and I'm just seeing gold bars but my reason is telling me go to the store see how many of these things come in a bag or box and the price and cut it in half or and at least a forth of the price and I get caught up in the should I repack neatly, or the corect amount that should go in a bag or box my biggest amout of items are going to be screws OMG screws and nails oh my and sizing 😢because there are hardly no videos on hardware resale iv spent 2 weeks looking and only maybe 6 have come across my viewing path but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REASURANCW THAT THE STUFF DOES RE SALE SORRY A LONG COMMENT BUT I HAVE TIME I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY I may reach out to you in the coming weeks to understand selling antique furniture I have a few items that I have seen online priced at insane amounts but have the stamps to prove it I just don't know its worth in my hands and it's Conditions onec again thank you so much😂

Yes, some of the most profitable things we sell on a daily bases is those small bags of fasteners and hardware. I could sell that stuff every day and make a living. Its easy to source and sells pretty consistently. I appreciate your support.

lol... to funny. yes........ we didnt have fancy toys when I was a kid. played with sticks, and rocks and aligators. lol

I look at my local Craig's list and tools sit there for a year or more and don't sell. The aren't expensive either.
I find individual tools on ebay and tools over $50 on Facebook market place work best for me.
