Yes, the Spray-painting is due to orders from Corporate (most likely, I don't work at CEC and never have but judging from past knowledge of retail + CEC rebrands). All CEC-branded stuff has to be destroyed so it can't be salvaged, picked up looters, reused, or be resold online. It's kinda sad, but all those CEC machines will be destroyed and thrown out. This is the location I went to as a kid since I moved close to that area in 2013. Man, I have so many fond memories of that place. Real shame what happened to the company.
I'm used to the videos of places that laid abandoned for decades, so it kinda freaks me out the think, about the fact for these its only been for a few months to a year or two. Granted places like this will never be abandoned for too long due them being in population centers (unless the stores as big as some of the places like the closed KMarts, because those are way too big to repurpose unless by another massive company), but imagine how the kids would feel seeing this a decade or two from now, when the building's power will have been gone, the paint has peeled, and the machines rusted away with moldy plastics and parts randomly salvaged or ripped away. At that time, the younger generations will have forgotten the things that shaped our current lives from 9/11 (Heck, some of the kids that join the military today were born years AFTER and don't seem to understand why it mattered so much to us) to the pandemic. They'll walk in there and see the dried, rotting papers, warning of "Social distancing" and "The don't come to work, if symptoms occur" signs.
Speaking of all the tokens you found, at a Chuck E. Cheese location near me (Altoona PA.) it was originally a Showbiz Pizza location, and when I put a coin into one of the machines that gives you tokens to put in the slots, I got a Showbiz Pizza coin and I still have it!!! I used to have a Pizza Time Theater Token too, but it slid into a slot between two very close-together seats of a car that got in an accident and was scrapped for parts :(
When in October 2023 you find a horror location based on an abandoned pizzeria chain, be warned for flames to occur in that building. If you work in that place, find a flammable source to light the building ablaze. There will be something inside the building. *They'll thank you for it.*
this was my childhood chuck e. cheese i had some really fond memories there. i find it suuuper eerie to see it in it’s current state though. i’m in the area often nowadays and i’ve always wondered what it looked like on the inside after they closed, thank u for fulfilling my curiosity :)
Interesting, I'm surprised they left any parts of the Studio C mech there. Most of the time the animatronics are one of the things to get fully removed from a location that closes permanently. I wonder if the location either had a 16 or 32 movement Studio C? My guess is 16 judging by the shoulder structure of the mech and the absence of the foot tap movement. Also one of those ticket munchers is pretty decently intact.
The ticket machines & coins were one of the most exciting parts of Chuckie e Cheese. When they switched to cards that you scan it took away that joy and nostalgia. It's so nice to see those machines and items in this video. This one must of been abandoned for a while, but it doesn't look too wrecked...yet. Also I can't stand the new chuckecheese mouse! Them trying to modernize ruined the magic and fun and the reasons why we loved chuckecheese so much.
I grew up going to this exact location at the mall in Leominster Massachusetts. Shame that it’s all run down, that whole mall is being shut down little by little. Hopefully they’ll do something with it soon that’s worthwhile
Honestly I like the old one with the baseball hat when I was a kid, the new one sucks, I’m now 16 and I heard a lot of people from the reviews of Chuck E. Cheese that they said they were recycling their pizza slices and they never repaired the machines they just replaced them with new ones
7:20 Okay so... The social distancing sign states that "352 Tickets" being the equivalent of 6 feet. I thought this number seemed awfully high so I did a bit of calculating, and... I don't know WHO figured up the math here, but they suck at it! 😂 Arcade tickets are generally 2" in length and 1" in height, so 36 tickets would equal 6 feet. 352 Chuck E. Cheese prize tickets would span a distance of more than 58 FEET! 🤣
Lots of Chuck E Cheese locations are closing: this one they said due to bankruptcy, another one, in a video from another youtuber I've been watching, due to 5 kids disappearing, and a lot due to health issues, that were before COVID. I'm surprised none of them are closing for public disturbances leading to fights.
The missing children thing is a hoax based off of a video game, the rumor comes back around year after year. Don't believe everything you see on the Internet
As someone who experienced Chuck E' Cheese back in the early 2000s (when I was 7 or 8), my fondest memories was probably the little camera crew section in the back where you could pretend to mix audio and use actual camera feed that were hooked up to the stores actual cameras. The pizza was kinda meh, but everything from the little jungle gym, to the sketchbook booth, to the arcade games just brought probably the best experience a kid could've asked for.
I remember going to Chuck E. Cheeses, used to go in the late 90s to early 2000s, as a kid, closest one for me, was in the Summit City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, the one is still around today, probably around there since the early 90s. Did enjoy the games, the food, fun & entertainment, and seeing Chuck E. and his friends and the birthday parties. Great memories. Chuck E. Cheeses, a great place for being Kid. Great video. Keep making more videos.
I remember visiting my local CEC when I first moved to my current hometown in 91. I used to fling pennies in the coin-slot of the arcade game 1942 and it gave me game credit. I did that A LOT!!! I bet the management was pissed about that. Good times.
If this was a fictional movie or a video game, you probably would’ve found a dark secret in the back rooms that would try and kill you! Suddenly very glad real life isn’t that kind of horror show! Jokes aside, I remember this one Chuck E Cheese I went to when I was younger that had a small section that played Veggie Tales stuff. Wish I could’ve found that one again before everything shut down…..and before I turned 18 (I’m turning 25 this June 29th)!
I remember when I went to a Chuck E. Cheese years ago and it's been over three years since that happened currently I looked at the place on Google maps and it is now abandoned shut down and has been abandoned for years now sing any Chuck E. Cheese gives me so many memories😢
The reason all the chuck e cheese designs were spray painted is because corporate doesn't allow anything to be resold when removed, that's why they destroy animatronics when getting rid of them, my home town location in billings mt still has our animatronics which actually is a 3 stage and it's still the animatronics when it used to be showbiz pizza, unfortunately it's official that ours is going to be removed this year, so, there goes 40+ old animatronics because they're going to be destroyed when they're removed
Watched a few of your videos and loved them so much I had to subscribe! The 90's places you go to bring happiness and nostalgia 😁🎈 thank you for your time and videos
I watched too many fnaf walk-throughs. I was expecting a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic to show up, or an abandoned mascot suit to show up at some point. And someone joking around and putting the costume on to scare the camera guy... Yeah, seen too much fnaf. Still feel good nostalgia from this video. Thanks for sharing.
My “home” Chuck E Cheese was on the corner of the strip mall so it had a lot of depth to it. It became an antique store but it might be vacant again. They gutted the stage, but the backdrop is the same as I remembered. I don’t think I had my birthday there, but have celebrated others birthdays there-among play dates and side stuff. Loved the Tower of Power game and tend to find them at other arcades at indoor water parks at ski resorts (I’m not a skier/snowboarder which makes that funnier). I actually went to a different one once and they had a completely different audio animatronic show
The reason they spray painted the machine was because it is company policy that when a location closes or remodels they are required to vandalize or destroy the machines and animatronics or trash them leaving no trace of them left. They do this so no fans take the things and sell them on sites like eBay and stuff because they are very protective of their copyright and sometimes sue people who make games with their characters But yea
I can believe all the stuff left behind. I had my 8th birthday at chuck e cheese in San Jose, i remember their birthday cake being ridiculously sweet, like too sweet for an 8 year old. Great video, thanks for the memories
I wonder why they left everything behind? Eviction, maybe? I agree that the new Chuck E is horrible! I consider the 3D Chuck E to be a non-canonical imposter. Chuck E Cheese is not the same any more and today's kids will never get to have a real Chuck E Cheese's experience with animatronics! They were replaced with stupid TV screens!! A great find, and very fun! Just a side question but why didn't you guys explore the kitchen or any of the backrooms, though?
Tbf, the reason kids are on their phones is their parents are always on their phones. If the parents can’t or won’t take them out to socialize, they won’t be interested in arcades or children’s social spots. It’d help if it weren’t so expensive and even increasingly dangerous to exist in public. Which is seriously upsetting.
Recently, I went to the Chuck E Cheese in Nanuet. It was a cool location to visit. I went there two times before, once in 2018 and then again in early 2020, which was around the time CEC Entertainment filed for bankruptcy and closed a lot of their locations including the one in this video
I saw the outside shot and was like wait, as the video continues I realized this was the chuck e cheese by where I grew up. This was such a nostalgic find for me. Thank you for this and helping me see my youth 🥺
The original FNAF lol even though the era of Chuck E Cheese is slowly fading away, im kind of happy that the style of "children's entertainment restaurant" will live on vicariously through FNAF
I haven't seen those ticket munchers in years, the nostalgia that I got when I saw it hit hard. It's one of the many things I missed, ever since they replaced them with digital tickets on the cards. Is there anyone else who was afraid of the Ticket Munchers as a child, or was it just me?
We still have 2 Chuck E Cheese locations left and one of them still has the animatronic gang! I got to show it to my daughters. 🥰 It wasn't as significant to them though. 😢

They will probably know about COVID, but yeah.
I remember loving this place my mom used to work for one back in the 80's and it was a huge Chuck E Cheese. Brings back memories.
I used to have a Pizza Time Theater Token too, but it slid into a slot between two very close-together seats of a car that got in an accident and was scrapped for parts :(
That sucks! But coool!
thats my childhood chuck E Cheese place too
I remember showbiz pizza from Austin Texas. That's so cool you still have an original coin.
It makes me sad that kids cannot experience what we did growing up but all things change and people move on i guess. Life .
So, uh… fun fact. Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 takes place in 2023. PLEASE DON’T GO LOOKING IN SECRET ROOMS!!!
Edit: Mom! I’m famous!
I will do it before FNAF is not real stinky face (I'm joking I don't actually care if FNAF is real or not)
Nahh bro we dead
the backrooms baby
When in October 2023 you find a horror location based on an abandoned pizzeria chain, be warned for flames to occur in that building. If you work in that place, find a flammable source to light the building ablaze. There will be something inside the building. *They'll thank you for it.*
@@cheeseburger555 it's a joke
0:44 WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU CUCK E CHESE
The fact that these are most likely the last Chuck E. Cheese sky tubes though!!!
This has to be the one in Leominster, Massachusetts
The best thing with the slides, is how much static electricity you got, and zapping your friends. 😁
Yes!! 👏🏼😂
15:09 I absolutely hated being anywhere close to that game😂 scared the living crap outta me, god I friggin hate balloons 😂
this was my childhood chuck e. cheese i had some really fond memories there. i find it suuuper eerie to see it in it’s current state though. i’m in the area often nowadays and i’ve always wondered what it looked like on the inside after they closed, thank u for fulfilling my curiosity :)
Same this is very cool to see especially now the mall is slowly getting worse
So many memories as a kid there. Times have changed, sad to see them all pretty much going away.
I live in leominster Massachusetts and I can confirm this is the one in leominster
Yea
It’s sad what’s coming to the Whitney Field mall 75 to 80% of the stores are closed for good They’re probably only like 10 stores left. What a shame.
@@masonperry6478 so this one is located in Leominster Massachusetts?
This vid has a liminal space vibe
Creepy 😂 but so wild to remember the memories and to see how everything decays
yeah where is this one?
The craziest part was this wasn't even that old, they showed a social distancing piece of paper which means it had to have been open 2019-2020

This is actually so sad, I literally grew up close to that Chuck E. Cheese and had so many birthdays there 😢
I worked at one for 2 years as a teenager and played as Chucky every day for those years. It was actually alot of fun to work there. ❤
Cool!
I wanted a job there but they never replied back to me. I might try again
You mean Chuck E., right? I don't know how well you'd go over playing Chucky...
I had a birthday party where Chucky came up to me and pretended to bite my pizza. I was so mad, there's a picture of me giving him a death glare.
Is this in Leominster Massachusetts
Yeah
This is boosting-up nostalgia but this looks so eeire, sad to see it closed down & kinda interesting to watch :O
Just binged all your videos last night while trying to got o bed and fell and love with all of them! And subscribed!
Thank you so much we appreciate it tons!!!
finally someone doesn't like the new chuckie I thought I was the only one
New Chuck e sucks!!
Honestly I like the old one with the baseball hat when I was a kid, the new one sucks, I’m now 16 and I heard a lot of people from the reviews of Chuck E. Cheese that they said they were recycling their pizza slices and they never repaired the machines they just replaced them with new ones
I wonder if you could take those tickets and bring them to a location that's still open and redeem them 😂
Maybe! 😳
i don't think very many work with tickets anymore the points go on your play card now
And before there was CHUCKEE CHEESE, we had, my generation, SHOWBIZ PIZZA!!! They all turned into CHUCKEE Cheese…Absolutely amazing
My father have told me many stories about Showbiz Pizza
Yeah Showbiz Pizza was the Chuckee Cheese of my childhood.
7:20 Okay so... The social distancing sign states that "352 Tickets" being the equivalent of 6 feet. I thought this number seemed awfully high so I did a bit of calculating, and... I don't know WHO figured up the math here, but they suck at it! 😂
Arcade tickets are generally 2" in length and 1" in height, so 36 tickets would equal 6 feet.
Kids disappearing?!!?
Five Nights at Freddy's.
That's just what I heard.
The 5 kids rumor is complete BS.
The Chuck bot was there actually. That hunk of metal on the stage without a head is what’s left of him
I remember going to Chuck E.
I loved taking my kids here many years ago. Well done!
Thank you so much! Gotta love Chuck E Cheese!! 😁
hello, do you know where the place is, it's just to know more about it
@@AlexGamerRBXLeominster ma Chuck E. Cheese at wintey field mall
It at your own risk If You wanna see it
I been there since I was little
I remember visiting my local CEC when I first moved to my current hometown in 91. I used to fling pennies in the coin-slot of the arcade game 1942 and it gave me game credit. I did that A LOT!!! I bet the management was pissed about that. Good times.
Thats creepy that the animatronic is still there, it would've been creepier if it had the costume on it and started moving, FNAF vibes
But u remember u have a shotgun
It's really hard to keep living with all of my childhood things fading away. I'll never be able to share the joys I grew up with with my children
I REMEMBER THAT!!
Wait, you mean I’m not crazy?! Huh….I wonder what else I thought I remembered is actually true!
How do you go into places like these?
Thank you so much!!
This is in Leominster MA, a shame because it was my childhood one. The mall it is in is sooner or later gonna go downhill
Perhaps you can contact any of the living Chuck E. Cheese locations if they want ANYTHING from that abandoned Chuck E. Cheese with their permission.
right there is so much here i would wanna grab for home. sweet stuff
@@baddumtiss6541 I see.
I actually went to a different one once and they had a completely different audio animatronic show
William after finding his next victim👾
I used to love go to Chuck E. Cheese when I was a kid until now I’m an adult now, I don’t go to Chuck E. Cheese anymore…..childhood memories! ❤❤
So glad mine is still in business 😌
Thank you, that was a lot of fun.🙂
Glad you enjoyed it!
Like literally stepping in a real life liminal space. Creepy!! Yet….nostalgic
Yes!!
The reason they spray painted the machine was because it is company policy that when a location closes or remodels they are required to vandalize or destroy the machines and animatronics or trash them leaving no trace of them left. They do this so no fans take the things and sell them on sites like eBay and stuff because they are very protective of their copyright and sometimes sue people who make games with their characters
But yea
Corporate sucks
@Retail City yep couldn't agree mlre
So wasteful
@xxundead52 That is actually true
Woah I've been looking for stuff like abandoned chuck .e chese now this is the. Best wow!
They need to invest in a chuck e cheese for adults. That would be cool.
I can hear all the kids laughing, screaming and crying as you all walk thru there and I can smell the pizza.
Would it be awesome to have an entire arcade to yourself? (Which location is this?)
Leominster ma Chuck e cheese. But I think the doors are locked
And the games are broken
@MommaandDaddaRobloxContent Man, I wouldn't care. I would still take the shells of an arcade game
That is very creepy but I love ur vids anyways😢❤
I’m shocked to see my hometown location! So many memories
Me to same town
I can believe all the stuff left behind. I had my 8th birthday at chuck e cheese in San Jose, i remember their birthday cake being ridiculously sweet, like too sweet for an 8 year old. Great video, thanks for the memories
Have you guys ever been to Gary, Indiana it is the king of abandoned places just behind Detroit of course.
Nope but she should definitely check it out!!
im so happy i found this account they are so cool with loads of content. supposed to be asleep for work but oh well
😊
This was literally my local store. How did you manage to get in there?
they had permission
@@iloveowls90 nah the door was unlocked after another explorer broke the window to get in lol
Where is this located?
Recently, I went to the Chuck E Cheese in Nanuet. It was a cool location to visit. I went there two times before, once in 2018 and then again in early 2020, which was around the time CEC Entertainment filed for bankruptcy and closed a lot of their locations including the one in this video
This is such a cool video crazy how the power is on! Love spots like this 😊
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you!
18:59 that’s not the whole animatronic poets at all😮😢😊😅
It's in surprisingly terrific condition given it's been abandoned for 3 years
I saw the outside shot and was like wait, as the video continues I realized this was the chuck e cheese by where I grew up. This was such a nostalgic find for me. Thank you for this and helping me see my youth 🥺
I would love a set of those spongebob cards to go in my binder
The original FNAF lol even though the era of Chuck E Cheese is slowly fading away, im kind of happy that the style of "children's entertainment restaurant" will live on vicariously through FNAF
Imagine the lights shut off and then eyes light up while music from a music box plays.
Har har har har har har har
I haven't seen those ticket munchers in years, the nostalgia that I got when I saw it hit hard. It's one of the many things I missed, ever since they replaced them with digital tickets on the cards.
Is there anyone else who was afraid of the Ticket Munchers as a child, or was it just me?
We still have 2 Chuck E Cheese locations left and one of them still has the animatronic gang! I got to show it to my daughters. 🥰 It wasn't as significant to them though. 😢
What location is this ?
Even tho they weren’t there…Am ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of animatronics!
Love you guys content!🥰

I have a shoe box full of chuck e cheese tickets. With what few restaurants are now likely using digital ticket systems, how will I ever get my 25 cent pencil :(
