We go to the laundromat and their washers are great. Their dryers have a low heat and an air dry selection. I know the tumbling action is hard on the items, but it's a lot easier than bringing it home to air dry. My cats would have a blast rolling around on a damp afghan. lol
We use the mesh laundry bags for a lot of things, especially women’s undergarments. I always use them for baby blankets. I have to wash a baby blanket tomorrow so I can give it away. My mom uses soap nuts. I use seventh generation or 9 elements detergent. I never use fabric softener. I use the seventh generation dryer sheets with wool dryer balls. We don’t use anything with fragrance of chemicals in our house because of allergies. When I smell Gain on someone’s clothes I get an instant migraine. Fragrances are endocrine disrupters .
🫶🏿Thank you for sharing. I had never heard of ‘soap nuts’. Going to research that to see where I can purchase them as I live in the UK. Also love the blanket stitch. Is it known as moss/linen stitch?
Thank you really helpful, so good to see a man doing craft so few of you especially in the UK where I live 😊
Wow, thank you!

Thank you for sharing this information. Not everyone knows what you were telling us.
You're welcome 😇
There is a detergent for baby clothes and blankets call DELFT. Very gentle
If you don't have room to lay it out inside, use a sheet over top to protect it from direct sun and pollen outside.
Great tip! Thanks
Thanks for the info!! New sub!

Thanks for the tips!
You bet!
You can also use a nylon, I bought a box of knee highs. The also work great to wash skeins of yarn. Be sure to knot it
Great tip! Thanks!

Yep! Moss stitch.
I just wash on warm and sometimes I let my things air dry.
I use net bags and give them to my customers. You can also tumble dry on low just to get the water off first.
Great tip!
Hi there ☺️
Could you post a link to where you get these soap nuts at pretty please 🙏🏻 😜
