Anyone felt any sympathy for Hogeboom? The guy was so traumatized by what he did at Okinawa, burning the civilians alive by Phelps' orders, it truly felt like he was mentally "killed" by the horror he committed. And if that's enough pain for him to suffer through, his own psychiatrist uses him to burn down the bogus properties just so he and his other co-conspirators can cash in on the urban fund. I really enjoyed the backstory of some of the important characters during their service in the Pacific Theater. Shows how much some try to abandon the wounds they've sustained in the past while others were already long gone because their wounds cut deeper than the skin.

It’s a bittersweet ending. Cole’s name is somewhat cleared, some of the men responsible are either dead or going down, and he managed to save a few of the people he cared about
Leonard blackmailed the Chief of Police, the Mayor, and Roy Earle to exonerate Cole Phelps of all the previous accusations and wrongdoings including the affair with Elsa Lichtmann and have Leland Monroe, Harlan Fontaine, Raymond Gordon, Curtis Benson, and Donald Sandlers take the fall in exchange for his position as DA. It wasn't good that Leonard abandoned his crusade against the Vice Squad but I assume Leonard knows who Cole Phelps really is even though Phelps just made friends with Elsa Lichtmann.
You have to wonder how many Cops were on the take and how many were simply following orders to take out Phelps and Kelso because they didn't know any better?
I wonder if he was faking it to save face or if it was genuine. Despite ruining Cole’s reputation, he was the one who got him promoted to Homicide and Vice, he almost saw him as a protoge, and respected him in a twisted way. He wanted Phelps to also become a dirty cop like him, but he realized that Cole was an honest goody two shoes
@@theTrevorluck I'm 99.9% sure he was acting. I mean hypocrisy is the central theme of the ending - you see that him, the mayor and the chief got away, and Peterson, who knew very well that they're dirty, struck a deal with them and now shakes their hands with a warm smile like they're best buddies. Roy helped to promote Phelps because he saw he's good and he could use a great partner, but yea he figured that Cole was too clean and sold him to the Suburban basically.
I just beat it finally. I bought the special edition when it came out forever ago but never got very far through the game because I was young. I think it might be the best game I have ever played.
Even though this game is 6 years old, the ending still pisses me off. Not because Phelps dies, but because most corrupt assholes were still left in charge. Dead Fontaine and Monroe in prison isn't good enough. Because Worrell, Bowron and miserable prick Roy were left unpunished.
moviemetalhead do you even know what you're talking about? GTA V ending was great, all protagonists survive, Red Dead Demption Marston dies, but his death was avenged by his son, GTA IV ending is good, since no one really gives a fuck about Kate, TBOGT and TLAD endings - good, GTA SA ending good, GTA VC ending good, GTA III ending good.
Cole had raised his voice many times up to that point as a method of asserting dominance instead of emotion, but that might be the first time he actually yelled at somebody.
@@princesslaravincenzo9596 I wish he did too. I hate that smug condescending racist and sexist prick. He was asking for it. I hate how he gets away scot free with the others.
I'm annoyed at a lot of things. How stupid Sheldon and Elsa were, why did Ira take Elsa to the sewers to begin with, the short unsatisfying ending after at least 20+ hours of gameplay, how homicide was all about one single perp that already got old and repetitive after the third case, how it was never elaborated what happened between Floyd Rose and Errol Schroeder, how there's a big damn city with nothing really interesting to explore, how there's little diversity in Street Crimes, how all we know about Cole's life is just his time as a marine, barely seeing his wife or even how and why he got into a relationship with Elsa, I could name a few more things but I don't want to. I like this game, but God Almighty there's a lot of problems with it, I admit it's a little underrated perhaps, but at best I can give is a 7/10.
If you watch the ending cutscene as Roy finishes his eulogy he says "a detective who fought to expose the evil corruption of the murderous Dr Fontaine and the rapacious property tycoon Leland Monroe" meaning that they will take the fall while Roy, William and Fletcher all bargain their way out with Leonard Peterson. I'm assuming that Peterson may have abandoned his crusade against corruption but I'm wondering how he got Roy, William and Fletcher to bargain their way out possibly blackmailing them to exonerate Cole Phelps and securing Jack Kelso in exchange for his position as District Attorney replacing the corrupt Donald Sandler if not compliant he'd expose their notorious corruption. Nearing the end he begins to stutter though hardly noticeable considering and possibly he felt extremely guilty.
I’m annoyed about both. I don’t understand why this game has such a sad ending. It really doesn’t need to have one. You’re playing as a virtuous law enforcement official. With a game like GTA or RDR, where you play as a criminal, I would prefer a sadder ending as criminals don’t really deserve happy endings. I’m not saying LA Noire should tone down on any seriousness. I just think a MUCH better ending would be where Cole Phelps survives and Roy Earle dies.
@@jahsehsgoons Roy is a snake. Cole on the other hand felt terrible guilt over what happened in the war, in addition to guilt over the medal he was given and knew he didn't deserve, and thus Cole didn't blame Sheldon for shooting him. Cole knew he deserved to be shot.
I think, once he came to terms with it, Cole realised that he deserved it. Remember, if it had ever gotten out that they'd burned a Civilian Field Hospital, they'd have been charged with Crimes of War.

@@wetube6513this is a two year old post but your comment is so pathetically rude and against encouraging creative thought that I just had to pop in and say that is not cool man
He was lying his ass off to save face and use Cole's death to make himself look like a decent guy. Probably also got him out of trouble with the DA since he was involved with the Suburban Redevelopment Fund.
wow Courtney started it. He suggested the heist yet he was treated like a nobody. Felt bad for Courtney but now i realize he caused the fall of Cole Phelps
Pride comes before the fall. Cole’s self righteousness caused his own fall. His relentlessness to investigate The Subdevelopment Fund created threats to those involved. So Cole’s weaknesses were exploited. His inability to share with his wife about his days in the war lead to him seeking out Elsa. Who like Cole, had something in common when it came to war. That destroyed his family and his image. Cole essentially died a martyr for his cause in what he felt was his good fight.
Actually you are partially right: Courtney did rob the SS Coolridge, but the catalyst of that is Cole being condecorated for being the last man standing for cowardice. Courtney, despite his naiveté and impulsivity, he did genuinely want to give himself and his teammates a better life, a reward for their unsung efforts during the war.
Man I wish during free roam you could enter all the interiors from the cases, that would be amazing and I'd love to see a sequel in the 60s during the Cold War maybe in New York or Chicago.
Ha, I'd love to see a British version; zipping around 1950's London in a Wolsley, the Winkworth Gong clanging like mad , suddenly hearing on the radio "MP calling Car 11 Kilo" and going to step into a Police Box, only for someone to go "Sorry, this one's occupied!" before it suddenly vanishes before my eyes.
Yeah, no I mean they had a coffin with his corpse, come on that wasn't some John Doe lol But still, perhaps they could get creative, maybe some flashback missions or cutscenes with Phelps or something, main game with Kelso (personally I thought he was cooler than Phelps lol) This series still has good potential, I don't care what anyone says. It's criminal that they stopped making DLC for this game though, imho
Now, what REALLY pisses me off was the fact that these cases were originally part of the base game, but they decided that there was "too much content", so they removed some story missions and turned them into PAID DLC =@@@ So in effect, there was no DLC even released for this game. It just got abandoned ... really upsetting. This game was a very unique gem that carved an entire genre for itself on the PS3 (and that is an impressive feat). It deserved better than this. There should have been episodic content constantly being released periodically to keep interest for this game, almost like Hitman (2016). If they had done that, then this game would truly have been a masterpiece ...
shyguy778 The dlc cases are great too without DLC the desks have this many cases Traffic-3 Homicide-6 Vice-3 Arson-4 with dlc its Traffic-5 Homicide-6 Vice-5 Arson-5 it's a MUCH more complete game with the dlc cases plus when u play the complete or remastered edition the dlc cases are thrown in seamlessly during the campaign its great also the game is a masterpiece except a few complaints 1. I disagree with Cole's death and im.not even against killing off player characters but in this case i absolutely am 2. I like the homicide desk but every case is the BD case and every person u arrest didnt commit the murder i wish only 2 of the cases surrounded the BD not every one of them i wish it was seperate cases like Traffic for example so every new case felt fresh best desk was Vice imho
The last mission, the escorting of Jack Kelso to the LA River Tunnels, was the most memorable part of the game to me. The radio chatter sealed the severity of the conspiracy for me - how KGPL wasn’t telling the responding police officers, who are presumably innocently following orders, that they were pursuing, and using deadly force on a DA’s Investigator…or that he was being escorted by two LAPD detectives.
Technically, they did say the "Second Suspect Vehicle" was a Police Vehicle as they said the Department Shop Number. No doubt a few Officers recognised it as 11K but assumed it must have been stolen.
That final flashback cutscene, if Jack Kelso had went and told someone what he knew about the morphine theft the entire morphine story arc and any thing related to it could've been different. Cole could've lived.
Good point. Might have something to do with his "courage is a fickle thing" line and why he told cole to wuit beating himself up over that medal. He kept quiet cause he didnt have the courage once too and it was a mistake.
I always view Phelps and Kelso as being two sides of the same coin, both with their own flaws and virtues that when putting aside their differences could've made an incredible team in the field, but their animosity got in the way and as such both men paid for their sins but in different ways at the end.
When i was younger I didn’t like this ending thought it was too sad depressing but now that I’m older I love it and definitely feels like how an old true Noire movie would end.
@@bolobalaman yeah it hit real hard. I’ve actually been watching LA Noire related videos for the last 4 hours since I beat the game. Rob Nickerson Totally agree. At least a tiny bit of a moment from him wanting to redeem himself whether it was through a flashback or a dialogue exchange would have made his death give that stamp of “yes that was a good death”. Even up to one of his last lines was about needing the guy alive to make a case. So perhaps a line or two by Elsa telling him directly what a good man he was to her or his ex-wife or his daughters say something about him being a hero, just anything, to flesh out his desire to “make right” his past would have been enough to round out the main storyline.
I thought the narrator at the beginning of the game was an old Phelps, I didn't expect that ending. In more than 10 years I had never seen any spoilers about it, which is impressive. I had played it a few years ago but never finished, so I knew I needed to finish this game at some point. Damn, that ending hurt me more than Arthur's death.
That carchase tho they really managed to set the mood with the radiochatter and the rain. The chatter on the radio really shows how desperate Worrel is to get Jack.
Would be funny if that were true in some sort of spinoff light novel story or alternate universe entirely, solely for the fact phelps was a guy who stopped robberies and michael led them.
34:33 Roy is a more complex character than we think, when he says “and may I say a good friend” looks like he rejected what he did to Cole, he is emotional, and feelings cannot be faked easily. I want to believe that from then on, Roy had a turning point on his behavior
Was going to upvote until the whole turning point crap (lol). If there's one thing about Roy, it is his consistency in bullshit, even if it does always contain a speck of genuine compassionate emotion that only sows itself once in the entire game. Roy is what he is, for better or for worse, and he will never change. He is already all he will ever be. Anything "different" that changes his character can only possibly be what is hidden within him, that he shares with no-one.
I think Roy did genuinely respect Phelps. He DID go out of his way to get him as a partner, and during the Vice case when the British boxer makes a run for it, Roy goes against his normally selfish nature by letting Phelps protect the man (even if under vocal protest). Is Roy a good guy for that? No, but I can appreciate that he had genuine respect for Cole. I *would* say he laid it on a little thick, especially given how poorly they get along in the end (with good reason)--and that you can fake. He absolutely did *not* have a turning point. However, I feel that no one had to twist his arm to be there. I do feel this scene makes him a more complicated person in subtle ways, and I like it for that.
ArthurMuneh Roy definitely is an asshole, but he’s actually right sometimes. For example, he said during one of the cases, that police can’t defeat drugs, they can only keep drugs out of streets and that’s kinda logical and true. There’s not a single black or white character in this game, none of them is an angel or a devil, they’re all just people with sins and vices and that’s what makes this game so damn good for me
Looks like Cole dieing in the last mission was a surprise to many of you ( I won't gonna lie the first time i finished the game I was too) But Completing it for the second time i was convinced that it was best that Cole died a "hero's death" rather living with the regrets that he made through out his life especially with the number of bad calls/decisions he took during the war....And specially when he ordered his subordinate ira to burn the civilians to death which were in caves and hospitals as it's said in the flashback and if you may notice when the wave of water is about to hit Cole he willingly hesitates a bit and that only means he wants to die a hero's death rather live with his regrets and may I say that the bravery award was also his biggest regret although he did not ask for it but he knew he didn't deserve that !! And that's my piece of mind and you have the right to agree or disagree !!
@@flashstudiosguy Perhaps, but few truly remember those people. Russia has kids hold up photographs of dead war heroes, but someone tried asking them about the people once and they had no clue.

At first, I felt heartbroken and thought it would be nice if there is another ending (like GTAV) but then just realized this one is fine for me.
Biggs spent most of his career pushing people away and refused to have a partner because of his trauma during war. He closed himself emotionally from others as to not attach himself emotionally and suffer when they die. Even then, he was forced to work alongside Phelps which was the only detective he seemed to trust and opened up to him about his experiences during WWI. He even went as far as putting his career and life in danger to help Phelps solve cases and save Elsa. And at the end Phelps dies horribly in front of Biggs, as he's unable to help. Poor guy could never catch a break.
Many people are questioning why Cole didnt Jump, its because the game’s plot starts when the Hospital Burns down. Everything in this game from Cole’s perspective is because of that. The game’s plot starts When it ends. The Reason why Cole ever joined the LAPD because he wanted redemption, He had too much guilt on what happened on Sugar Loaf Hill and in the Hospital. And his time as an LAPD detective was over. The corruption got him there was no saving him. And when the time came. He knew that he could exit life. He saved Kelso which gave the help to his Guilt, But what next? He didnt have anything, he could have gone to Elsa but that would only produce more headlines for his Wife to see. And lastly. His career was too hated by the public. He made mistakes but he freed the main mistake from his mind (Sugar Loaf Hill). And that started L.A. Noire. *If he jumped there was nothing left for him to do*
That ending sucks even though Cole cheated I still wish he would have lived and had a relationship with Elsa. It also would be a cool touch if his wife came to his funeral. Oh wait they did
There should’ve at least been a post credit scene like the Departed. One where Kelso shows up at Earles apartment and clips him. It would’ve at least made the ending a bit satisfactory cuz seriously fuck Roy.
Jack was a marine and they look out for their brothers that's the code jack didn't know that courtney was officially involved until you read one of the newspapers
I guess that’s what Jack meant by courage being a temporary thing. In a way, he was basically admitting “this is kind of my fault too for not speaking up when I should have.”
Phelps was a true hero and the sherlock holmes of america but what if he escaped the tunnel could he still be alive or not because he can swim out of there

Petran Moudatsos Another reason they killed cole was bcuz they wanted to show how someone as straight laced as Cole would get chewed up and spit out by a corrupt city like LA i get all that but they still didnt need to kill him john Marston's death made sense Coles didn't
I played this game 2 years ago and I still think it’s one of the best rock star game stories I’ve ever played and it’s conclusion proved that Cole was right that there was a conspiracy with the house fires just no one believed him and if he had lived would of solved probably the biggest insurance scandal in the game
There is a way cole coulda gotten out alive...If instead of killing Ira w his gun, they coulda taken him to their exit and after Cole helped Elsa & Jack out, Ira coulda helped Cole get out and Ira would've just let the flood do him the favor. 😕
If this game gets a sequel, (I doubt it though) I think that it should be set during the 60's. Think about it. A new war, with an enemy you can't even see nor shoot, and a war with no clear goal. Elsa could've had a child with Cole, and that child could be his predecessor, with him tying the loose ends of his father.
Can't believe this was released 10 years ago!! One of the best games of all time and a starting point for the technologies of rockstar games going forward which literally changed the world
Just finished this game for the 2nd time. I was definitely not smart enough to completely understand it back then. I played it as a freshman in high school... Such a great game. Definitely one of the best I've ever played.
Im glad that the ending of this game wasn’t your typical “good guy” ending. This game’s story wasn’t supposed to be a fairytale. It was a serous game that takes time to understand and digest. Amazing story from start to finish.
Sad 😞 and great story (writing). 👍🏼 His men hated him after that bad order and he still tried to do good. Wonder if the DA got those corrupt heads arrested. Rockstar has the best stories!!
I was debating with myself if I should get L.A. Noire. Now that I saw in the comments that Cole dies I kinda want to play it now just to know what happened.
Vault 624 well, bought it for the PS3 and I loved it. Bought it again for the PS4 and still loved it. Altho I regret knowing the ending, it didn’t effected the Journey that much. Hell of a game
Even sadder was that Phelps sacrifice for L.A. as a whole was in vain. Not all of the suburban redevelopment fund members were brought to justice. The freeways ended up being built and the trolley cars and their tracks erased from the streets.
After buying L.A. Noire for my PS4, and finishing the Vice desk and finding that newspaper where Roy rats out Cole... I'm disappointed in him. I liked Phelps, but when he develop feelings for the german jazz singer (forgot her name) I lost some respect for him. But still, he's one of my fav characters. And Roy, that corrupt, racist scumbag asshole hopes he gets killed in L.A. Noire 2... but that will never happen :(
I felt the same way too my first time playing the game. But then I did the storyline again (and again and again 😋) I realized how much sense Cole and Elsa make. They’re both tortured souls and find comfort in each other and help the other get over their demons
Corrupt cops sometimes do get their come-uppance, so don't be too downheartened. His gangster friends may decide he's outlived his usefulness at some point.
A well made game...Graphics, authenticity of the timeframe, and in accordance with the Film Noir style when it comes to the storyline execution... Where's the next one, RS? It's 8 years (2019 now) long overdue!
when earle say 'may i say' i notice his voice is stutering for a moment i believe earle actually trying to help phelps by keep him out of vice department corruption and leland abuse and as far as i know, even though he's a overall jerk and sarcastic, he never give a sarcastic/offensife remark to phelps, only to sheldon and his former partner
This game has a irritatingly abrupt ending. The scam is stopped but a lot of people got away with it. I also don't like how it takes until the end to finally show the most important flashback. It could have helped show why Cole is the way he is. Shoehorning it in so late was a missed opportunity. I also didn't like how out of the blue Cole commits adultery. That demote him to Arson. Which conveniently is during the whole scam. Othet than this is a great story for a great game. I wish however that you could do activities such as bowling. Anything other than nust cases and things to collect.
People may not like how Earle got away clean from all this, but while he gets to keep his Chief Detective job, I have a hunch Earle's career is all but over. This is assuming that Petersen does become the new District Attorney, and Petersen had outright stated he was going after the Ad Vice desk when he first introduced himself to Kelso. Yes, he managed to broker a deal to cover up most of the details, but by doing so, Petersen is the one who held all the cards to keep Monroe's cronies and Earle in check. Plus, assuming Kelso is still employed by Petersen as his personal investigator, Earle and whatever remains of the Ad Vice desk are on thin ice with regards to their corruption, unless they want to deal with Kelso, a war veteran and the one who brought Monroe down personally. Earle keeps his job, but now he has to worry about Kelso potentially paying him a visit if he slides back to his corrupt ways, personal financial losses from the fall of the SRF, and probably some stigma from the LAPD since he did rat Phelps out (assuming the Mayor and the Chief of Police gave up this detail to Petersen to save their own behinds). This is a form of cruel mercy, in that while Earle's job is safe, his power and influence has been greatly diminished, and he has to keep watching over himself unless he wants to deal with Kelso.
I cried when cole died especially in his funeral when roy said (a good husband a good father and may i say.. a good friend) i here died crying cried and cried until i have no more tears
You may want to add more salt in the tears; Jack Kelso is in on the suburban redevelopment fund. He pretends to defect and turn on his superiors. Only to slowly gain trust on Cole Phelps because he’s a potential threat to their agenda. Don’t worry. Kelso is cool with Roy Earle. He pretends to be pissed off towards Earle in public. But he’s laughing at Phelps grave for taking his war glory.
Rockstar protagonist kill list Cole phelps Victor Vance John marston Arthur Morgan Johnny klebitz Trevor Phillips (optional) Michael de Santa (optional)
This is something I think most people will strongly disagree with, but I think there could be potential for a sequel with Roy as the protagonist seeking his own redemption. Even though he betrayed Cole and was all around a scumbag, I think he did have a genuine respect for him and sort of cared for him in his own twisted way, and the voice crack at the end was genuinely him feeling sad and maybe even guilty over Cole's death. Roy is a pragmatist- he explains his philosophy over the course of the Vice desk, that he sees crime as an inevitable part of society and that the best thing the cops can do is keep it under control rather than trying to risk their necks to stomp it out entirely, since it'll just crop up again elsewhere. If he happens to profit from letting it slide, all the better. I think Roy could also see that Cole was too much of a stick in the mud to ever be a good Vice cop- he refused to even try to be friendly with gangsters like Mickey Cohen, was completely intolerant of every petty crime he happened across, and was absolutely terrible at keeping a secret (his affair with Elsa). From Roy's point of view, Cole was inevitably going to get himself whacked or into a really bad situation being blackmailed. With that said, Roy probably thinks he did Cole a favor by exposing his affair with Elsa and ruining his reputation, because, in his mind, he prevented him from getting into any further situations where he would end up pissing off more gangsters. So I think he could make for a great protagonist if there's a sequel, seeking redemption in just the same way as Cole did and gradually changing into a good man by the end of the story.

That's life.
Bruce Lee dies at 32, but assholes, like Charles Manson, live to be 83.
moviemetalhead that's the point. I don't need that crap in the videogame or a movie, because life is full of injustice already.
You might want to stop playing R* games altogether then.
moviemetalhead do you even know what you're talking about? GTA V ending was great, all protagonists survive, Red Dead Demption Marston dies, but his death was avenged by his son, GTA IV ending is good, since no one really gives a fuck about Kate, TBOGT and TLAD endings - good, GTA SA ending good, GTA VC ending good, GTA III ending good.

I’m not annoyed about the fact that Cole died, I’m annoyed that Roy lived
Me to
If you watch the ending cutscene as Roy finishes his eulogy he says "a detective who fought to expose the evil corruption of the murderous Dr Fontaine and the rapacious property tycoon Leland Monroe" meaning that they will take the fall while Roy, William and Fletcher all bargain their way out with Leonard Peterson.

It was that bitch Elsa.
Pussy always the cause of a fall
Super Trini Gamer No it wasn't.

This series still has good potential, I don't care what anyone says. It's criminal that they stopped making DLC for this game though, imho
shyguy778 i mean they made 5 new cases lol thats pretty much a brand new desk when u think about it lol
Now, what REALLY pisses me off was the fact that these cases were originally part of the base game, but they decided that there was "too much content", so they removed some story missions and turned them into PAID DLC =@@@
So in effect, there was no DLC even released for this game.
Cole redeemed himself he died a heroic death
the ending was sad

Rob Nickerson lol no. Cole giving his life to save others was the only sensitive way of ending his character arc tbh.

The facial recognition was such a masterstroke. The surprise on Herschel's face at 2:09 says so much on it's own. Even more with context.
@@asayospacegoat6384 While Roy is an asshole through and through, he might have seen Cole as a worthy opponent at least.

He saved Kelso which gave the help to his Guilt,
But what next? He didnt have anything, he could have gone to Elsa but that would only produce more headlines for his Wife to see.
And lastly. His career was too hated by the public. He made mistakes but he freed the main mistake from his mind (Sugar Loaf Hill).
And that started L.A. Noire.

I liked Phelps, but when he develop feelings for the german jazz singer (forgot her name) I lost some respect for him. But still, he's one of my fav characters.
And Roy, that corrupt, racist scumbag asshole hopes he gets killed in L.A. Noire 2... but that will never happen :(
The German jazz singer's name Elsa Lichtmann
I felt the same way too my first time playing the game. But then I did the storyline again (and again and again 😋) I realized how much sense Cole and Elsa make. They’re both tortured souls and find comfort in each other and help the other get over their demons
Corrupt cops sometimes do get their come-uppance, so don't be too downheartened. His gangster friends may decide he's outlived his usefulness at some point.
I kinda wish that would happen though.
A well made game...Graphics, authenticity of the timeframe, and in accordance with the Film Noir style when it comes to the storyline execution... Where's the next one, RS? It's 8 years (2019 now) long overdue!

when earle say 'may i say' i notice his voice is stutering for a moment
i believe earle actually trying to help phelps by keep him out of vice department corruption and leland abuse
and as far as i know, even though he's a overall jerk and sarcastic, he never give a sarcastic/offensife remark to phelps, only to sheldon and his former partner
Rest in Paradise Cole Phelps 🙏🏽
I like Jack he's a good man, and i don' t know why but i like Sheldon too..R.I.P Sheldon
I love these two. R.I.P Courtney Sheldon
This ending is right up there with how rdr2 ended with Arthur
'You're wounded Jack, let me help!'
I cried when cole died especially in his funeral when roy said (a good husband a good father and may i say.. a good friend) i here died crying cried and cried until i have no more tears
I was so fucking mad with Roy saying "a good friend"
Fuck you Roy
You may want to add more salt in the tears; Jack Kelso is in on the suburban redevelopment fund. He pretends to defect and turn on his superiors. Only to slowly gain trust on Cole Phelps because he’s a potential threat to their agenda. Don’t worry. Kelso is cool with Roy Earle. He pretends to be pissed off towards Earle in public. But he’s laughing at Phelps grave for taking his war glory.
