It is NOT Max "verSHtappen" ... Max is not German 🇩🇪 (Germans indeed can in most cases pronounce "st" as "sht") ... Max = Dutch 🇳🇱 (Father) / Belgium 🇧🇪 (Mother) ... It is not "Bottash" nor is it "Lewish" certainly not "verSHtappen" .... This BS started long time ago when a British 🇬🇧 sport presenter interviewed father Jos Verstappen and assumed you can use a German pronunciation to a Dutch 🇳🇱 Driver thinking it is so "funny" ... It is not.
Serious question: can any Englishman 🇬🇧 say "versatile" out-loud without saying "vershatile" phonetically? Most can, about 99,999% ... That is why most English 🇬🇧 can pronounce Verstappen 100% correct!
Father Jos Verstappen (also F1 Racer) was very active between 1994 - 2003 back then only a very few said "Vershtappen" but the vast majority of British sport presenters pronounced it perfectly.
The Dutch 🇳🇱 NEVER EVER pronounce the st as "sht" ... that is why I mention the difference between the two countries ... By the way, I worked in Germany 🇩🇪 have family in Germany 🇩🇪 and am part German 🇩🇪 myself.

(Mad) Max Verstappen, the dirtiest, king of run 'em off the road, 10 years too late dive bombing, 'attempt' at passes that do not exist unless you are crazy/kamikaze I have ever seen, the most reckless, dangerous, unfair, most unclean driver I have ever seen in F1. And as such, over rated, over hyped, artificially elevated, the F1 Frankenstein they have created, by not reigning his awful, overly aggressive, force em off way in, long ago. Maybe an inconvenient truth for some, not hate, I wish he would drive and race hard, fairly in one on one battle. with Max it is a one dimensional, hot head, red mist type approach, he is incapable of genuine one on one race craft and skill, patience etc, he doesn't do battle, it is always war, like his car is a weapon, he is the destroyer of his opponents race, neither great or exceptional, (try and imagine if all the other drivers decided to adopt the Verstappen, lawless, law unto ones self way?? we would have chaos and carnage, wwf not sport/F1) yet he gets a way with it time after time, because of a lame, incompetent, complicit F1/FIA, for reason only they know why. HE is effectively their F1 Frankenstein, the one they have created and allowed.
