Anyone else watching this the night before a first date? Haha. I'm generally a confident person, but I can't help to feel a bit nervous as tomorrow will the first time I've gone out on a date since breaking up with my ex. It's also the first time I've been on a date with someone other than my ex in over 7 years .... 0.o
I just went on a first date with someone who has social anxiety. We didn't hug or kiss, we didn't even eat lunch because she couldn't talk to the person at the counter. We just walked, talked a lot, laughed and watched Ant-Man. We didn't kiss or hug at the end of the date though. She kinda just left suddenly and said goodbye. She later texted me saying sorry she left so quickly. Should i ask her out again?
I went on my first date yesterday to watch American Ultra. I already knew who she was, but the last time i saw her was back in 4th grade, i gave her a rose, card, and a heart shaped lollipop for Valentine's day during my time in that grade. Anyways back to the topic, we were suppose to watch the 7:50 showing, but she arrived late and so we had to wait for the10:25 showing which was pretty good because I got to talk to her and find out more about her. I was pretty overwhelmed because she dated so many different dudes and brokeup with all of them, we had dinner at taco bell and burger king, i bought that Ghost pepper taco while she got #13 from BK. When i was leaving (cuz she was dropping me off >.>) i didn't hug nor kiss her in the cheek because I wasn't really ready to do that and when i remembered to do it, it was too late. I was pretty much that guy who ends up with that asian chick who dated a bunch of dudez fron that abc show called "Mixlogolgy" some shit like that. Lol
I have social anxiety so I can understand from her point of view. If you want to hang out with her, hang out with her (and not because you feel sorry for her for having anxiety). It takes a bit longer than most people for socially anxious people to open up.
When I went on my first date, I was expecting me to be headstrong and confident and the girl who asked me out to be extremely nervous... Within minutes it was the other way around. I was so nervous, I was literally shaking. Not just a little, it was like I had just been in the freezing cold. 😂 Honestly, it was really funny!
I'm 15. I have a crush on a shy and quiet guy but I do not want to be in a relationship of as right now until when I'm 17 (after my o levels). The people in the comments section are mostly young kids trying to get into a relationship and dating. But sometimes you don't want to go so far first, take little steps while you are still young. You don't have to reject a guy you like. Just wait until you are older, and if he move past you then he isn't the right one and you'll be Glad you didn't waste time on him. And if he is still there trying to win your heart and you know that you are old enough to make a decision following your heart then go ahead. You may face a few breakups, the first might not be the smoothest. Or who knows, he may be the man of your life. Just take baby steps don't dive into it too fast, sometimes you end up with a major heartbreak instead :(

This is waaaaay too involved. A 'worksheet' about yourself? Exercise? Our grandparents went on dozens of dates in a year. A date shouldn't have anything to do with a relationship - just see if a person fits. Like trying on shoes. If it seems promising, you go on another. No need to load it up with pressure. And yes, 'be yourself' goes without saying; it's really a way of saying don't front, boast, or signify (unless you're very charming and funny about it, and can go back to being on the level).
I think the reason for my lack of love life is my lack of self confidence. When trying to list what I like about myself in my head I couldn't think of a single thing. Loving life...

If he says no, just shrug and pretend it's no big deal (then go home and cry for 5 hours while eating 5 pounds of chocolate.) And you will get over it. Seriously! I thought I would never get over some of my crushes - but you will and you will be stronger for it. Just ask, and take what happens (but prepare the chocolate just in case...^^)

So anyways were should I start? Well today was my first date and I was the happiest person alive. I followed all the advice from this video and others and I thought it worked out pretty well. I asked her to go to the movies a couple of days before this day. The day finally came I was supper excited and I couldn't wait to see this beautiful girl. We flerted a lot over the phone and stuff. It was time for the big date! I was nervous and shaking while getting ready I was practicing on what to say in the mirror. I was waiting to get dropped off but of course I was late. To all guys out there be the first ones waiting. I got there as soon as she got there so it wasn't to bad. we had some time before the movie so we decided to walk around the mall. While we were walking around we were talking about the camp we are going to. As you knew it was time to go in to the movie. The movie was called vacation which was a great movie by the way. We started watching it but then In the first five minutes the movie started I decided to put my hand down her seat. I slowly moved my hand closer and closer until I touched it then I had my hand on hers for about 5 mins then she put her hand on top of mine. When that happened my head was buzzing like crazy I wasn't even paying attention to the movie. Then we actually held hands for the rest of the movie. when it got to the end we were almost leaning on each other. When the movie was over she had to go. Then I texted her and said I love you but unfortunately she said I like someone else. What should I do? should I move on? What should I tell her? When I got that text I laterally balled. lily versluis it was great i learned we liked similar things and that he really likes me too yay except his stupid friends came and attack him with sticks.so he ran after them leaving me alone but then he came back and gave me a hug. since our date was so horrible we rescheduled it and it was better than the first one he's going to kiss me!

So anyways were should I start? Well today was my first date and I was the happiest person alive. I followed all the advice from this video and others and I thought it worked out pretty well. I asked her to go to the movies a couple of days before this day. The day finally came I was supper excited and I couldn't wait to see this beautiful girl. We flerted a lot over the phone and stuff. It was time for the big date! I was nervous and shaking while getting ready I was practicing on what to say in the mirror. I was waiting to get dropped off but of course I was late. To all guys out there be the first ones waiting. I got there as soon as she got there so it wasn't to bad. we had some time before the movie so we decided to walk around the mall. While we were walking around we were talking about the camp we are going to. As you knew it was time to go in to the movie. The movie was called vacation which was a great movie by the way. We started watching it but then In the first five minutes the movie started I decided to put my hand down her seat. I slowly moved my hand closer and closer until I touched it then I had my hand on hers for about 5 mins then she put her hand on top of mine. When that happened my head was buzzing like crazy I wasn't even paying attention to the movie. Then we actually held hands for the rest of the movie. when it got to the end we were almost leaning on each other. When the movie was over she had to go. Then I texted her and said I love you but unfortunately she said I like someone else. What should I do? should I move on? What should I tell her? When I got that text I laterally balled. Please help thanks.

it was great i learned we liked similar things and that he really likes me too yay except his stupid friends came and attack him with sticks.so he ran after them leaving me alone but then he came back and gave me a hug. since our date was so horrible we rescheduled it and it was better than the first one he's going to kiss me!
