- Christa came from Canada for occipital nerve decompression 5 months before this video, and now she is back for decompression of her supra-orbital, supratrochlear, zygomaticotemporal, and auriculotemporal nerves in the front after her successful surgery in the back of her head. We knew she would need this second anterior operation following her operation in the occipital region.
Listen to Christa discuss her difficult recovery- we always talk about how some patients wake up from surgery headache-free, but others can take several months to achieve improvement. Christa was unfortunately in the latter group and suffered significant pain for about 4 months after her initial surgery, but then the improvement came and we have been thrilled with her headache pain relief from the first surgery. She is now about to embark on her anterior migraine surgery, and we wanted to share her story!
