Not going to lie. This intro is straight up godly. It tells a story with little to no dialogue and the music reflects every emotion in it. The scenes are beautifully animated and look straight out of a film.

Yen actually is a powerful sorceres, i'm disappointed how in Gwent, her card strength only 7.
+Minh Le she has the ability to heal and bring back a card, im pretty sure that's more than useful for any other hero cards
but she is a 7 strength old card with the revive ability!probably the best gold card along geralt and ciri
Although Nilfgaard deck sucks but there is a Nilfgaardian hero who has 10 point with medic ability. I believe Yen should also have 10 points

All of those kicks this one out of the moon (in a good way).
I honestly wish I could go back so I could play this again for the first time. It's definitely one of my all time favorites.

I was totally ignorant of this universe when I started the game back in 2018. Since then I've read 3½ books, played the game all the way through both DLCs, and watched a bunch of lore videos, plus a playthrough of both previous games.
Started a New Game + about a week ago. Gotta say, now that I know a ton more about the Witcher-verse than I did when I began my first playthrough -- having a much better understanding of who the characters are, their relationships and motivations, and just a bunch more general knowledge of all that's happening in that world -- it's waayyyy more fun on the 2nd go.
Everything makes sense to me now; no more confusion on that front. And it's also cool to see how characters interact when you already know their plans/mindset. Nuances that went totally unnoticed before are now glaring and blaring.
Couldn't recommend playing a game completely through for a second time more than I do this one.

@TheOfficialUnofficial I had to watch the first season through twice before I was satisfied with it. The problem with the series is that it is based on the Witcher books, not the video games. And personally, I have only played the Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, and that game was all about Ciri. I will close by saying that I loved Emma Appleton as "Renfri". That was one hell of a fight scene.
@@josephallard6394 Read the books instead. Show is dogshit and leaves out a lot of important stuff from the books. They completely butchered that renfri story. They also butchered every other short story they told from the last wish(book).

I will *CHERISH* this game for the whole of my life. We all say games we like fondly are absolutely EPIC and those big words but for me this game stood out and i aim to play it for as long as i live. I like how they took the quote from the book and the story told by Geralt, everyone should read the originals, it makes me appreciate the games way more for how true to the originals they eventually were and the changes that were made didn't stand out from the rest, almost as if they were always a part of the story.

It looks like it's going to make a hell of a game. The trailer looks great and knowing the previous Witcher parts, this has to be good. And the way the bird just flew right through the guy's skull. Awesome :D
I remember playing tomb raider as a kid and watching the cut scenes, I thought games would never look that good but now they look far better. So perhaps in 10 years or so we will be looking at games that look as good as this.

I can't imagine reading the books for the first time without playing the games, then finishing TW1 and TW2 and waiting a long time for this game to come out, then having this as an opening scene... watching Yennefer for the first time being caught in the middle of a battle in the Third War between Nilfgaard and the Northern Realms, then Geralt with Vesemir (who we havent seen since the first minutes of the first game many many years back) tracking her, Geralt finally looking for her... I wish I didnt played TW3 before playing the other games and more important, without reading the books.
Now I have to play the game for the 4th time. Gwnet, here I come 🤣

I remember, 8 years ago, getting this game for PS4. I read the thank you letter that came with the game. I remember finding Ciri and literally crying my eyes out before and after the spark. I remember my first playthrough and Ciri didn't come back. (Honestly the best ending considering the world). This game ....oh yeah! Priscilla's song! This game has everything a person could want.
