DemDemons I'm one of the few people not taken aback by her burning the tree, shes always been willing to do whatever it takes to protect herself and the forsaken but shes always had a leash. Just watch the nobbel87 hour n a half lore video. I just wanna see what happens from this point with her snd the relationship with the horde. Highly doubt she'll be an endgame raid boss. Excited to see where it goes anyhow.

The pandemic has taken its toll on him, sadly.
Love how Anduin accepts the fact that he is not his father and drops his father's sword and takes on the role that he knows is his own, as a healer.
SinisterSin I think this is more of an experimental phase for him. He is seen in books using judgment and before he put the sword down he used the light to strike and obliterate that troll and his shield. If anything he is realizing the balance of power needed between defensive, healing and offensive.
After this upcoming expac I believe we will see him more like a paladin than anything else.
Anduin need to just shut up and heal, his group is dying...

Ok Blizzard, can we all just forget about the first movie, and hire whatever crew makes your trailers to be 100% in charge of a fully animated full length cinematic? Cause these trailers are seriously the best.
1 hour cinematic of this quality will cost more than 5 hours of the movie with live actors. It will be very difficult to recoup. And CGI in general demands MUCH more time to create.
It would be expensive, yes, but not impossible to make a profit. These days, software and pure talent is at such a level that cinematics like these are much easier to create than, say, the Burning Crusade cinematic. That being said, after the dim success of the WoW movie, I doubt Blizz will be willing to take another theatrical risk.

I think pirates ruined the income of movies so they don't make as much money as they used to.
That's why this level of CGI is rarely seen in movies save few very popular production companies that can afford the risk.
Anduin mass rez is probably one of the best scenes Blizz has created.

*This* is Warcraft. Regardless of what happened during the rest of BFA, *this* is what it's supposed to be. The theme, the tone, the energy. Compared to how Dragonflight is now, it brings me to tears how far we've strayed from Warcraft's core.

Sadly for the Alliance.. We are losing Teldrassil.... =( I feel bad for the Alliance and the horde. Horde for Undercity and Silvermoon.. and Alliance for Teldrassil and the Exodar. (Though I believe they moved the Exodar?)
How sadly, finally the Alliance has retaken Lordaeron
Probably the new elven alliance of blood and nightfallen will build something on the ashes of teldrasil and void elfes to silvermoon (back home) plus lightforged draenei together with normal draenei cleansing the corrupted lordaeron. As for undead, maybe they will go Northrend, you as the world is gonna be scaled, it would make sense for races to start anywhere.
Maybe it will change, it hasnt changed since the beginning so some relocations could be fun too.
Have to watch this again after watching the war within trailer.

@Thalos I don know what kind of drugs blizzard devs smoke into their brain, but a priest wears plate armor and has a melee combat skillset is called paladin.
Thalos Base on the way he fights and what the dev says, he’s still a priest. His melee skills is really lacking to be a paladin, but he will eventually get there like how Valen has forseen it.

Your opinion doesn't really invalidate the point the OP is making though but, to each their own. I like Square Enix for their animation but, they never go out of their way for the inspirational or the grandeur that often which is a shame given their technical expertise. Plus, most of their games as of late have been lacking so even with an amazing animation team and the body of work they've produced I still prefer Blizzard for now when it comes to storytelling meeting cinematic animation.
Agreed. They have that Zack Snyder grandeur cinematic style of animation down perfectly for their trailers which is nice given the fact they have to be enticing to make a potential fan or even older fans want to spend their lives in a time sink like the World of Warcraft. I love the game, despite the butchering of their own lore at times, and if they can actually deliver on some legacy servers I might end up playing again.

It's fine. You see Genns face at 3:44? He was clearly Inner Fired and Fearwarded. Anduin isn't cheating, he is just playing an older version of the game where you could stay out of combat during a bossfight and rezz.

Well humanity learned nothing in centuries, so I guess years is nothing. You can pretty much say that in a way WoW depicts the real world pretty accurately. Let's put middle ages and before aside. 2 world wars with hundreds of million people dead and still there is much agression between USA and Russia/China which can easily lead to a world world 3 in the following years.

Also back after the Napoleonic Wars, European leaders were smart enough to not demand payment from France as to cause bankruptcy, but what did we do after WW1? Charge Germany for the war, thus allowing Hitler to rise to power as his country falls into shambles from bankruptcy.
It might've not been the best expansion, by this is by far the best cinematic and gameplay opening.

I doubt they’re made by blizzard themselves. Big games trailers nowadays are usually made by studios dedicated to only making trailers. I could be totally wrong and blizz could be making their own, I don’t know for sure.
Blizz has had their own cinematics team for a long time. It's kind of their thing.
