- I almost became a Mustang MEME took a drive over to SMP a local Mustang tuner to have him check out my Twin Turbo Boss 302 and he took me a test hit in his Twin Turbo Mustang GT with a 10R80 and it was terrifying as he lost control and almost wrecked!

My 2019 GT 10r80 is 855rwhp. Fully tuned and built by VMP. With new MT street SS 305/20/35, 24psi in tires, in will break the tires loose at any speed under 80-90. I have full suspension to. Literally everything that can be done front and rear. Have to use the paddle shifters to keep it under control. If you let the car shift itself it is scary on the street. WOT it doesn’t shift till about 8050rpm. If the tires aren’t already spinning they will snap loose as soon as it shifts all the way up to 5th gear. 80-90% throttle and paddle shift it around 6800 it’s controllable on most streets. Be careful with that thing man. You did a great job of correcting when it got loose. I have no idea how these guys don’t just die on the streets running 1000-1100hp.

Atleast he caught it. Not a very safe spot to let all that power go though. Need to hit the freeway. I would never go WOT in a busy street where parked cars are on the side of the road, especially with all that power. One wrong move and somone dies, or gets seriously injured. This was a close call, lets learn from it and not do it again. I was taught from a young age by my father, there is a difference between a wise man, and a smart man.
