    India did not call Chinese Manufacturing as cheap but premium. So the world must understand that we are not anti Chinese. Its a very simple thing, you want Tacos you you to Taco Bell and don't go to Dominoes even though Dominoes have Tacos in the menu. As a customer you always have a preferential choice that you will buy Tacos from Taco Bell and Pizza from dominoes.

    in fact yes. Blocking China has only raised the cost. Most products are on e-commerce sites now selling at 5x. The earlier choice was to import directly. Now inferior quality products from China are labelled Made in India and sold at a premium across India. motorcycle parts which cost a fraction now sell at 10x rates. The only thing that has happened is that importers can still import and now sell at 10x price. whereas people like you and me have to buy at 10x the price

    Everything is not entirely true, India and China have a huge trade relationship, China has a huge trade deficit with India which is painful for India in the near future. Chinese manufacturing industry is huge, we should respect it. India is constantly trying to improve but it will take more time.
