Checking out a Kontakt library that lives up to it's tagline of "Authenticity Meets Instant Usability".
@e-instruments
There are a lot of great options out there to create realistic guitar tracks using VST plugins, but some of them are too complicated or not complicated enough to producer realistic parts. While this Kontakt instrument samples a very specific sound of guitar, the playability might make it worth picking up by itself.
Let me hear your thoughts in the comments.

Can't wait for this channel to blow up dude. Really high quality content!
I really appreciate you saying that! 🙏🏻
IT SOUNDS SO GOOD! Great video, brother!
Thanks Beau! It really is a killer sounding library.
holy shit.
this is the therapy that i needed.
for existing in this matrix.
Great overview! I love the detuned feedback and feedback swells. That stuff is missing from other guitar libraries.
Thanks! I agree, and the feedback swells will come in handy for my next project with guitar on it. I’ve been missing out on it since only working with amp sims
This sounds really good, Where would you put this compared to something like the Electric Mint Session Guitarist in terms of playability ?
Love desolate guitars, been using it in lots of trailer music - great overview!
Thanks Matt. I can definitely hear it sounding great in trailer tracks.
That's beautiful
hi, realy nice plugin! Can you please recmend me some way or vst that can help me in playing chords automaticaly?
Im not a professional musician so I dont know the chord patterns. Is there an automated thing that can help me out in this?
Thank you!
I will always back Scaler 2 as being a must have plugin that’s worth way more than it costs: bit.ly/3MkD4cj
It should help you out a lot!
@@mkirbymusic thank you very much!
Is there a way how to root nexus vst to this scaler? So i can use it with the sound of nexus?
in thse libraries, for most presets, is it essentially the same stroke and then added effects?
Desolate Guitars is the most emotionally draining library I've ever used.
I don't smoke, but any time I use it for a few hours, I feel like I need 20 cigarettes and therapy.
Kirby...have you tried Ample Sound Guitars? they are top, and they have ALL types of guitars and basses,
No, I actually wasn't familiar with them until now. It looks like they have some great products and will dig deeper into them!
Does it work as a stand alone VST plugin or is Kontakt required to use this?
Its a Kontakt instrument so need kontakt. Find out if you can use it with the free version or not of kontakt
u can use it with the free kontakt player
I need a plugin that does distorted guitar riffs.
Damage guitars by heavyocity does a good job
Yes u r right i have it
But its not a playable instrument when it comes to heavy tones like shreddage, heavier strings or the session guitarisz for example...sadly
Solemn Tones The Odin III is the current king.
@@adownbeatexegete1549 just downloaded it, it’s badass
Sound Iron, Axe Machina. On sale for $60 rn. Best VST I’ve ever purchased. Once you get it down, it sounds so good and indistinguishably real.
Shreddage 3 ... can't be beat
I’ve always had my eye on that one 👀
Solemn Tones' The Odin III beats the shit out of it.
But can it beat Goku?
