This put such a big smile on my face. Once you’ve ridden a bike with bespoke suspension for your weight and riding style there is no going back. Riders get so concerned with their next bike when they could just invest in the suspension and fall in love all over again.
Absolutely! Many bikes come with dual rate springs as standard to cover as many different rider weights as possible. They sound great in theory, soft initial travel for small bumps, and then firmer for larger ones, but in reality, the compromise rarely gives the best ride. Swap out the progressive springs for linear ones matched to your weight, and you'll be surprised at the difference. Even without fancy damping adjusters, the improvement will be considerable. Not too expensive either - a genuine rear Ohlins spring is about £70 while a pair of K-tech fork springs are about the same. Some quality fork oil can also yield benefits. Definitely money well spent!
Love your videos bro, I've gotten back into riding due to your channel. I had a serious accident when i was 23, spent 6 months asleep and years of rehabilitation. At 41 I now own my L's bike again. Got a Australian CFmoto 450Sr-s, changed the plates, indicators, battery charging terminal (1.6 amp). Keep being the legend you are.
Elsewhere in the world, they do sell the SR-S, which comes with a single sided swing arm, upgraded brakes, and adjustable suspension. No upgraded tyres, though, which is a shame. I'm currently deciding between the 450 SR-S or the 675 SR as my next bike here in Australia.
@@stonesaquatichomes6825 my brother has the 450 sr-s and he was complaining about the traction control kicking in too soon, but you can deactivate it when you want to go full on. this traction control "issue" i think its really good if you are a beginner, it doesnt let you push it over your limit
Ha, I had the same car AND bike, now have the NK, I'm old and stiff so the NK suits me better, I can still go plenty fast on the mtn roads. As an old roadracer, I thought hard about taking the SS to a track day, now with Bitubo stepping up, I can upgrade the NK along with the other normal things (tires, pads etc). Good stuff man!
That was a great video. The soundtrack was spot-on too. You've truly "hooked-up" any potential winner with this one. CFMOTO has got to be, loving it. OC: Hell yes, but I'd do it over time so the cost would sting less. Definitely get the tires first. I'd like to know what the installation cost for suspension/tires.
I personally think a small track bike like that would be highly entertaining and allow someone to truly learn to ride with much less chance of offing themselves.
I am 6' tall, a bit thick a size 12. I find the stock tires are fine, and I ride in Wisconsin. I also find the kyb suppension even being non adjustable is suitable for road use.
The fact that a company is already making aftermarket parts for suspension is awesome. hopefully, a load of aftermarket options become available for this little beast.
Thnx for the video bro just ordered a set of the Continental for my 675R Daytona can’t wait to put them on got a set on my R3 and they definitely changed the game 👍🏿
I'd love to see your comparison of CFmoto SS to the new CFmoto SR-S, which comes with adjustable suspension, single swing arm, bigger brakes and traction control.
Chase did they actually send you the rear shock with a different spring on it, or with it. Meaning the different spring is an up charge because of your weight and you get the stock spring also. Or for your weight the spring that comes on it was ok for your weight and no up charge. Same questions for the front fork spring rates. What is the eye to eye measurement on the stock shock. Thank you
You’re giving away this bike with the suspension and tires already added? How do we enter? Would love to possibly win, I really want this one as my first bike 🙌🏼
I couldn't have picked a better one, it's hard to beat considering no other manufacturers have a bike at this price with all the features and unique styling.
don’t get me wrong but you spend extra 2000+ to make it feel like an rc390 ? for what reason dude the bike is meant to be street oriented and race track oriented. PS: i have the 2023 rc 390 and the CF-moto 450sr and they meant to be used for different things if you need stiffer suspension and more track oriented bike go for the rc390 is class leader for those stuff if you prefer limousine style relax and harsh road bike that you can use every day go for the cf in my opinion is one of the best bikes for those stuff. And you are still milking that bike whats next ? 2000+ usd for brake kit ?
after watching several videos of him reviewing, testing and riding this bike - i honestly can't tell if he's genuine about loving the 450ss/sr, hyping it up for the "giveaway" so more people buy stuff at his website, or promoting it after getting paid by cfmoto
selling out would imply he's paid by them... which he's not... so.... But hey, I'm sure he still appreciates the comment/engagement to boost this video for the youtube algorithm! Good job!
What an idiot. The stock suspension is designed to work well for the largest demographic. People around 70kg (155lb). A budget motorcycle isn't going to have total adjustability and even then, if you're in the 220lb range all the adjustability in the world isn't going to make the suspension work well enough. You know what other motorcycle wasn't "good enough off the floor"? The FZ-07/MT-07, again because it was designed for the masses at a price point. Despite its pogo-stick like suspension for the heavier rider, it didn't/doesn't stop it being one of the best-selling bikes ever. Pretty sure it was awarded motorcycle of the decade too. "If it's not good enough off the floor. It's not good enough for us." If that was the case, then barely any bikes would sell you complete bell end.

Dang man I’m sorry that happened. Glad you made it to the other side and I’m happy to hear your back on two wheels!

I just picked up a 450srs last week, pretty happy with it
@shaneostrofski4155 I've heard they have a traction control problem when you full pin it. Has that happened to yours?
@stonesaquatichomes6825 havnt gave it everything yet, as brand new bike.
@@stonesaquatichomes6825 my brother has the 450 sr-s and he was complaining about the traction control kicking in too soon, but you can deactivate it when you want to go full on. this traction control "issue" i think its really good if you are a beginner, it doesnt let you push it over your limit
in my country the difference between the two is going to be like around 2k euro i think and in this case is worth to buy the 675 in my opinion

Woah those WOW guys are pretty cool...
I agree and highly recommend them ;)
Nice review Chase!

BYW - loving the track action. Very nice change of pace from the usual route. Looking pretty good out there too!
I am 6' tall, a bit thick a size 12. I find the stock tires are fine, and I ride in Wisconsin. I also find the kyb suppension even being non adjustable is suitable for road use.
I already got my cf moto 450SR because of your videos.
The fact that a company is already making aftermarket parts for suspension is awesome. hopefully, a load of aftermarket options become available for this little beast.

for all intents and purposes the CFmoto 675 should be better in every way, so it would be interesting to see just by how much.
Can't wait to see who wins it, i got my 450ss in july and 1000+ miles later it's been a treat.
I'd love to see your comparison of CFmoto SS to the new CFmoto SR-S, which comes with adjustable suspension, single swing arm, bigger brakes and traction control.

Good luck everyone
I was at that track not to long ago for a charity event!
A CFMoto 450R ”SP”.
Come on CFMoto make it happen! 🤙🏾
Continental doesn’t offer that tire in Lightweight sizes for this bike so what sizes did they send you? I see the front is a 120
Just purchased a 450sr-s last month and thinking about the bitubo combo. Will that work and PNP to the sr-s model?
Chase, when are you going to go live?
Unless you're turning this into a dedicated track weapon spending that amount on suspension on a 450 is kind of wasted.
Will these work for the 450nk
OC: Chase asks about having a small CC track bike, while I've yet to finish building my R6 track bike 😂
Hi what sice is the Rear tire i have a 450srs to and i want a Bigger tire. Thank you guys
Is this a good beginner motorcycle
Yes
yes, i have the SRS, it has a factory upgraded suspension and some other things from factory. I can´t complain about anything
450SS is a great bike
I couldn't have picked a better one, it's hard to beat considering no other manufacturers have a bike at this price with all the features and unique styling.
The best
Whats the new Rear Tire size? Ive seen people fit 180/55 on these
chase i was unfamiliar with your lean game
LOL yeah that was impressive.
I have adjustable carts ready to go in my zx4rr with no one who can install them. There's weird tools and apparatum I don't have.
8:30 in Australia and maybe some other countries there's the 450sr-s and it has single sided swing arm and adjustable front forks
Front fork on SR-S has rebound and compression, but not preload.
Just swung by to 🤣
2K on a $5,500 bike is crazy. Someone try to justify it so I can come back for more laughs.
Rear tire size?
Is the giveaway worldwide ? :)
Quick self response if u replaced the blue accents with red it would suit both the suspension and exhaust more imo
I want this bike so bad lol
Chase in 3D gang
So now it feels like a Aprilia RS457 😂
"By-too-bow" or "Bit-oo-bow"? I always assumed it was the latter.
It's actually an Italian company, and they pronounce it "bee-TOO-bo"
chase please, I’m literally begging you 😂
Rs457 next?
May someone please sponsor me this bike as my first bike please 🇿🇦 all the way to south africa ❤
675ss when???
Bro, there is a better version! Cfmoto 450 sr-s!
Now the winner will have the tires too.

CF Moto = Trash. If it's not good enough off the floor. It's not good enough for us. Keep selling out Chase..

keep crying
hoes mad

Why they hate? It seems like a really fun, entertaining bike
