So I totally dig the opening tone you had at the beginning of the video. I myself do not use plug ins…as I live for the organic process and the time it takes to shape of mold my ideal tone/sound. That being said…that opening tone sounds VERY similar to my current tone that I’m getting using my rig…which consists of either a Dean Exile select poplar burl or a Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster being played through my Marshall DSL20, that has a tube screamer mini and Boss Noise Gate in the front, and a JHS Little Black Amp Box through the effects loop. The only difference is your tone is a little bit more mid heavy than my tone. Regardless…if I ever got into plug ins and amp sims…this would be my first one to try for sure! Love you Ray!!!!
I'm trying to decide if I should go audio interface or multi effects pedal I wish it was easier to use foot controls for a interface. Looking at the volt 167 or 267 the IK axe io is a better choice but not many available at long&mcquade especially with any software package. It's just for a basement rig not in a band don't take my gear out of my house usually. Currently using a bantamp zombie through a v30 2x12 and several pedals using the zombie as a pedal platform.
Unrelated question, is that shirt/hoodie combo Shein for men? My wife got me something that is near identical for Christmas last year ahaha. I love it.
