  • In this video, I discussed How to use Subflows in Salesforce Flow in your existing Salesforce Flows to make them simple and easy to debug.
    What are Subflows in Salesforce Flow?
    Subflows are nothing but autolaunched or screen flow that you can use into another Salesforce Flow, you don't need to specify a flow that it's a Subflow.
    Why use Subflows?
    Create smaller flows that perform common tasks. For example, build utility flows to capture address and credit card information or to authorize a credit card purchase amount. Then call those flows as needed from multiple product-ordering flows.

    Hi @salesforcegeek, I am trying to call a screen flow from an autolaunched flow. But when i click on sub flow the screen flow isnt showing up even when I have activated it.
    Could you please help me to resolve it?

      You can't reference a screen flow from an autolaunched flow. You can’t call flows that contain wait elements.

    Great video! My error flow does not show as available when I try to add it as a subflow. Is there something that could be preventing that?
    Thank you!

    Hi Shubham another great video thanks :)
    Question - if your screen flow has 10 steps and each requires error handling, for each fault handling do you create a unique component through to the sub flow or do you have a single component and the fault handling of each step points to this single component then linking through to the sub flow?
    Thanks

      Error handling requires for all the screenflows I will probably create a subflow for that.

      Subflows are not for a single flow if you thing that you need that component in some other flows as well then it’s good to go for subflows but incase you just need them 1 time don’t go for subflows

    If I would like to display different custom message based on criteria. Do I have to create multiple subflow?

    • @salesforcegeek
      @salesforcegeek  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No you can just send your message to the Subflow it will handle automatically

    The audio on this video is really harsh... sounds very cracky, poppy and echoey
