    Thanks for the highlight buddy! My favorite part of the video though is the homage to our glorious emperor!

    Wow lots of great chans here for sure.
    I'm particularly glad you made me discovered "The History & Sabre suite" Frederico! As a nineteenth century French and British military blades collector and generally big sabres enthusiast I instantly felt at home. And what a moustache!
    Take care, cheers!

    Soon, I'll probably be able to do more HEMA beginner light sparring backyard videos lol. But in full plate fantasy armor. Because I can, I prefer to also use armored techniques. Not just unarmored techniques. HEMA is about people practicing and bettering their own abilities. I dislike it when other HEMA practitioners say another HEMA practitioner isn't doing HEMA correct, because they're kicking or wearing fantasy armor. We're all just enjoying sparring with swords really. We're not training to kill each other. Besides, historical armor is expensive compared to fantasy armor. As long as it protects and works.

    I feel like more people should check this korean guy's youtube channel /channel/UCiBi1kqLTry1hzKWuBwKwaw, sadly only some of his videos have english captions but regardless of the language barrier I feel his passion for the longsword.

    • @FedericoMalagutti
      @FedericoMalagutti  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, even if there is a language barrier it seems he is doing pretty well in his country! Probably his awdience is more broad and also people not strictly connected with HEMA are watching it!
      Anyway, good channel indeed.

    For a Meyer practitioner, what is your take on Bjorn Ruther’s channel?

    • @FedericoMalagutti
      @FedericoMalagutti  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I respect Bjorn for his work, there are some things I would do in a different way by a techniques perspective sometimes, but that’s a matter of interpretation and different habits. Generally speaking I like his work.
