Lex thank you so much for this clip You're always a fair honest unbiased individual, and like your guest I have to admit as a Joe Rogan listener and follower of some of his guests on his podcasts, I have to say that most of the individuals in his comments are fans of his , which are of a biased comment thought or of research, so that being said I think Joe has millions of casual fans who are of sheep that are herded the popular way , which can be not the best decision.

I’m a Joe Rogan experience fan. I listen to most of the episodes so I can get a wide range of views. Sometimes I think “ Joe, you’re an idiot” and sometimes “ I never thought of that”. The show is important.
I used to feel this way, pre-pandemic. Nowadays it's just more and more red pill "distrust mainstream science" even though mainstream science is fundamentally main stream because of their repeatable RESULTS that wins great scientists and teams of science more grant money. That's literally how science works. It's fine to give fringe experts and scientists who give an alternate view that goes against mainstream science a voice, but you need to be educated enough to check them when they're spouting pure bullshit and Joe just....isn't. He tries, I'll give him that. But his weakness is that if he wants to believe something his checks and challenges immediately go out the window and it turns into an anti-government, anti-control rant. To each their own, though. He does have some great guests on.
It was JRE that was responsible for my personal development for approaching everything with skepticism and question everything.
The joe you're an idiot or Joe you're a hypocrite became to regular. I've actually moved onto lex as he seems more intelligent and will push back on his guests statements and opinions.

Same. Most people who listen to Rogan are skepticalish to begin with. No guest he had on reinforced any of my views per say. My thing was, I have school aged kids, I was also only 30 at that time and in pretty great health. Also, allergic or hyper immune reactions to lots of medications. There was a lot to weigh and consider.

Lex is 100% right when he said "what does it mean to be a Joe Rogan Fan." Many users (including myself) casually listen to the content without necessarily being a "fan" or part of the "community". We just hear it out from an outsider's perspective and move on with our day.

I listen to Lex, JRE and Destiny. Destiny is right - there is a JRE type of listener - I know so many even at my work that base their entire opinions based on what ever the fuck Joe says. Sure it’s not every single listener but it’s a large fucking chunk of them.

Big Joe Rogan fan, don’t believe the alt cure stuff he’s had on his podcast, I am a vaccine advocate, but I also do have a healthy cynicism about the origins of this thing. It’s behaviour is wild and suggestive of tampering. Also it’s origin is suspicious.
Ironic that this “destiny”?? Bloke, accuses people of being tunnelled visioned and blindly following the crowd because “X or Y” said so. I think he’s projecting and seems to be extremely vulnerable to type casting, generalisations (bad ones) and believing EVERYTHING that someone of his political leaning should believe, which is probably a similar political lean to mine… but he’s not a free and honest thinker. He’d do well to cut the categorising everyone spiel.

I'm not sure is always a valid answer, especially when a lot of data is yet to be seen. Joe Rogan on the other hand takes guests word for it when it comes to negative things about the vaccines and pharmas, while he has Jamie double check everything positive a guest might say (like the guy from Australia). Rogan defends his view with "that is what someone told me", but when researchers, scientists and doctors contradicts the views of someone with an agenda or without a degree has told Rogan, he needs it double checked.
That, and that he still defends Alex Jones.
Rogan has some of the best podcasts episodes out there, but he is a strong advocate for those that think the corona virus is man made, a hoax or that all you need are vitamins. Hopefully he will go back to the way it was before covid.

Personally, I almost never listen to the mma or comedy podcasts. I like Joe, but dissagree with him strongly on some things, not least his support of the innocence project.

We're watching a clip about misogyny in online spaces, of a podcast that didn't talk about pharma, and you're fighting Destiny's imagined position on pharma. Where do you people come from? Are you fully conscious, or is it just subconscious reactions to strings of words you read?
@@735337707 He specifically makes the claim in this video clip that their main problem is communication. By mentioning nothing else, and then moving on past the subject. He is clearly saying their main and likely from his POV only problem is this. Where as we all know that the Big Pharma Companies have many ways of getting drugs and medicines into the market without proper testing; with roughly 25% of all things the FDA approves being recalled. The CoV1D Vaccines are a great example of this as the definition of vaccine was altered to include them. Information about natural immunity was heavy suppressed and demonized.
Lex is too real, he doesn't let a guest slip out the backdoor of their statements. I respect him standing for his friends/people he respect.

Most of them just parrot the ideas of people who’ve actually spent their life studying and can rarely flex their own ideas enough to avoid it devolving into an argument.
I’m as pro-vax as it gets. I think this should get every experimental procedure, every booster and everything they push. I want to see as many people as possible to opt into as many procedures as possible. If one could take several per day, I think it should be offered free by the government. I listen to Lex and Joe regularly, bu come on man, here Lex is just defending his friend Joe. Everybody knows what Destiny tried to express and Lex' only way to defend this and save his friend was to tell Destiny that he has no data on this.

He's not saying that his ability to research is above everyone else's; he's criticizing a specific group of people who dilute the word "research" from reading scientific studies down to listening to an episode of a podcast. The way Destiny feels about "Joe Rogan fans" is exactly the way I feel about Hasanabi fans. I'm sure he sees dumb people everywhere, but he loves to act like it's mostly the other side that's stupid.

He only had guests that peddled far right views on the virus and the vaccine. And then repeated brought up their debunked and unscientific views for 2 years, giving them further perceived credibility.
These included head of the scam group the FLCCC Pierre Kory (who sold ivermectin at inflated prices), failed biology lecturer Bret Weinstein, not qualified enough to talk about epidemiology, virology or immunology and Robert Malone - who lied about his role in development of MRNA vaccines.
The most basic of research would suggest Rogan should have vetted these guests. OR the most basic journalistic approach would be to have an academic to counter their points. He did neither.

Also regarding that robert malone topic, within 15 minutes of research i found about 35 poblications of his and over 7000 (!!!!!!!!) Citation for all these papers. I know lost of the people here arent scientists, but that is just through the roof. Trying to downplay that is just bonkers to me. During my ph.d we had one guy in our lab that made a huge discovery (1000 citations) and he was treated as a star. Later went to work for harvard university. I dont know destiny's arguments for that, but i heavily doubt they are valid. Especially considering his background in biology (debate me bro sphere wikpedia reading)
The two guys make good points. Joe has been a bit too conspiratorial at times and destiny doesn't watch joe enough to give him a fair shake.

@@valizeth4073 a vaccine needs to be tested for 5 years before being rolled out. These were emergency vaccines and were fast tracked. One of the reasons they were protected from any liability.

I am a joe rogan fan. Imo JRE is the best show ever. You can learn a lot of things in a lot of topics. From astrophysics to rappers and gladiators. I appreciate the show so much and enjoy it.
