Pretty much doing same job as you mate flexi has failed on mine and mine is a bit of a custom job so off the shelf parts are no good for me either … the joys of old trucks ha ha
hi how does your tdi engine pull with all you arw carrying? im asking because im considering ripping the td5 engine and box out my d2 pickup and fitting the less powerful but much more reliable 300 tdi. all my friends are saying " no tge td5 is more powerfull" yeah once its mapped it is without a doubt (when it runs) but they have a habbit of dieing without any reason
Hi...the 300tdi engine is probably more reliable than a TD5 but definately alot less power...the 300 pulls ok but nothing like a TD5...so in mho i would keep the TD5 and go through it from top to bottom...

Since fitting it i have given the truck a long run and it sounds good except the tip on the tailpipe rattles..
Another nice job. But with a junior hacksaw and some chemical metal I don't think I'd get the same results.
