An air file would serve you well for cleaning up after welding. Looks good though

I’ve got an absolutely dirt cheap one, £20?? Buy loads and loads of belts, they tend to shred before they’re worn out

I Know, I assume your talking about the folded lip on the replacement part. It wasn't a big deal to straighten it out, but still it's a bit puzzling why it was folded over in the first place.
