    One of the NC750X videos that helped me choose this as my next bike! Thanks guys!. I pick it up this week and cannot wait. Chose Matte Jeans Blue as the colour and I've opted for ALL of the accessory packs too which includes the fog lights so im sure it'll look fantastic 😁😁👌♥️

    Hello ER and Paul, this is by far the most honest review of the NC Manual and DCT. Been following Honda’s progress on this model for a while now. Tank bag hooks completely do not understand why Honda did away with them. As a commuter bike is it perfect for every city. Did I mention the Miles Per Gallon…

    Great informative video. Glad to hear 2 mature (not old) guy’s opinions. First 6 speed review and I appreciated Paul’s experience with the manual gearbox. Still waiting for mine here In Wisconsin, but listening to your video I believe I’m making the right decision. This will be a local riding bike as I also have a 2017 Trophy SE, and 2016 Triumph Explorer 1200 XRT for long distance tours. Both bikes I love and impressed with Triumph quality. All the best!

    Great interview, ER and Paul.
    I have a Z1000SX, which has span-adjustable levers on both sides and great mirrors. The screen is not great either, and neither is the seat. Unfortunately there's no center-stand option for it, not even after market options, due to the catalytic converter position. I think the Z1000SX is a very under-rated bike, just like the NC750. I was considering an NC back when I was shopping for it, but then decided to go for an inline-4 as I was already riding a parallel twin and wanted to try different engine configurations. My plan is to work my way through all the different configurations (maybe a V4 next 🤔😂)
    I'm liking the new 4 pm slot, ER. I might move my own videos earlier from 6pm to 5pm.

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Noob, I agree about the SX. They should be selling more of them but Kawasaki don't really get themselves out there with the TH-cam thing. A friend of mine has a SX too and loves it.
      BTW where did the other comment go? I was going to come home and ask google what that word was you mentioned about the microphone, I seem to have to get the dictionary out a lot with your comments. I bought the DCT model - blue colour in May 2021 and have done 5175 miles so far. Mine came with a centre stand as part of the £8300 purchase price from Hunt's Honda at Manchester. I rode a 140 mile round trip in the Derbyshire peak today and used 7.3 litres of fuel. That is 86 miles to the gallon!! I have fitted the Shad 39 Litre top box. It was £200 including mounting kit and postage. The Honda top box alone is £600.This is a great bike for touring or commuting. Would highly recommend it.

Whilst I didn't own it as the touring version I had a cafe racer kit roadster customised version which was 30kg lighter than std so pretty quick. Prefer the triple though of my Hinckley 900 trident. You really are a good interwiever! I don't know if I'm alone by this but music is not so important for me here (to be correct it is important but then I just listen it and do not watch anything), just makes more difficult to listen what people say (yes I'm a foreigner, for an excuse at least).

    Good review guys, i have owen two NC750X DCT that was version 2 and version 3 but haven’t tried this new variation, I love riding this bike so easy and very economically to run. I bought my 2018 DCT bike for £6200 I thought this was a bit of a bargain so can’t think it would be worth changing at the moment. As spoken about I did lock my keys in the frunk I had the keys in my gloves and put them into my helmet and locked all in the frunk😡😡 by mistake, I called out the AA to help but they couldn’t open the frunk to retrieve my keys so the nice AA man run me home 25miles to pick up my spare set phewwww. Never happened again. Gerry

I have a givi 60L top box, but find on the vid the bike looks very good with panniers. Honeslty I miss the cruise control (which I had on my 2016 GS, but don't have on my current KTM 1190) but not daily cause I mainly use it for commuting. @@exeterrider really? the dct works ok if you ride chilled and don't have to swing between cars, but our brain still knows best how to operate a clutch and gears. And my NC 750X dct stalls! so does the 2021 Adventure X (which I had as replacement bike) especially when the engine is cold. Very frustrating to start at a red light with lots of cars behind you, then stall unexpectedly like a learner. apparently, it's due to electronic accelerator management and there should be a softwre update coming anytime soon

    Is anyone know the difference of the gearing of 2021 and the previous years (DCT)? They said the first 3 gears has more power and the last 3 are longer so better for the highway. How does it feel at the stop and up to 40 mph? Some one said his 2020 is lacking the power at the stop being left behind by cars.

      @exeterrider  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It feels much the same as the previous model tbh. But yes the first 3 gears are shorter and then 6th gear is higher. Very little difference. But the engine map is totally different

    • @exeterrider

      Totally different, hard to explain, but best way is to say the NC isn't built for off road but the 650 is, the 750 feels more lively of course. Both are good bikes

    • @keldonator
      @keldonator 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@exeterrider Yes all pavement. The roads here have lots of corners and typical travel is 60-65mph down to 30mph in sharp corners.

      750 I say👍it's quite refined compared to the 650 but you won't be going up and down the gears constantly, that being said there is no wrong decision here. You will enjoy both equally. The 750 will hold its value more too.

    Liked my 2017 NC, but by god did it rust quickly. I test rode the new one and it’s a good step forward but I just can’t trust the build quality on paint. The two at the dealer had cracks in the paint on the engine cases, a basic quality control fail in Thailand. Shame really, Honda have dropped their game

      @@exeterrider True about the availability. I waited since July 2021. I was not expecting it till May or June 2022. I got lucky for Christmas. (I'm referring to the bike.) But really, only one color available in Canada? Come on!!! That's like only being able to buy pink bubblegum from when gum was first invented. Which by the way is sugar, corn starch and pink food coloring added via hot plate to semi cured latex rubber. Simple but available pigment changes I guess won't matter in 10 years. Everything will be mandated electric. Range may be limited and make bikers dependant on charging stations. I will enjoy my gas powered, " RED ", NC750XAN, till the end of this era. Until gas/petrol, is no longer affordable, available, or becomes illegal. By then. Everthing will be green! Ha Ha! Puny how that works.
