What a great presentation. I am rebuilding my older brothers 1979 model MonArk, purchased in 1995. The series you have presented is spot on. The transom overhaul, the bottoms, the prep work to paint and the paint application. Many thanks for posting. I'll be looking for to the electronic diagram.

Thank you so much for your support! And that’s too cool about your dad’s boat! I promise you I have more to come but my W-2 job is getting in the way! I have an electronics diagram coming soon.

Good job but proper glue to use is Resorcinol Glue. It's fully waterproof.

What wood did you use for the Transom Overhaul; type, thickness etc.?

I used 2 pieces of normal, 3/4” plywood sheathing from Home Depot. I didn’t go with marine grade bc I water proofed it with the Bondo Fiberglass resin.

@@flipmyjonboat4485 Thank you. Finding Marine Grade BC in my area is virtually impossible. 3/4 " plywood sheathing is a cinch. What size and type plywood did you use for the bottoms? And again, many many thanks for the help. Your character comes through AAA plus and your presentations are absolutely clear and concise.

@@busterrayd2659 I used 1/2” plywood sheathing from Home Depot for the decking. Same process as the transom. I sanded it, then used the fiberglass resin on the top & bottom. With the decking, I sprayed it with some left over Rustoleum truck bed liner from HD. I really appreciate the compliments! Thank you again for the support and connect with me on IG so I can keep up with the process.
