Hey brother, you ever do window replacements on garage doors? New to the game and not too many videos on it. Wasn’t too hard but always love to see other folks tips and tricks..
oh yeah, thats not common, yet it’s common, lol. Pretty easy honestly. If you have a local vendor you just take the measurements and/or pictures of the windows to the vendor and they should be able to cut you the glass you need. If all else fails i have actually bought a piece of plexy glass at home depot and cut it for a customer myself. Customer was just as happy and it looked great. The outside frame of the glass, on the garage door, usually either pops, or unscrews off. Usually pretty straight forward sir!

yeah I remembered later about a file. However, I actually use a battery powered grinder mostly to file down damaged torsion bars. A lot of times I work in my videos on a basic level because I believe it better relates to newcomers. But, yes, a file is completely vital and I left it out. Terrible me.
Great video thanks ! Do you have a list of fastners you always make sure to carry? Also which garage door parts do you usualy keep on the truck and which ones do you order as needed? Thanks !!!
Hey Sonny, work duty called and I got insanely busy sun up til sun down so haven't had a chance to post the video. So in short, you need several lag bolts to shoot into studs. Short ones and long ones. About 1 1/2 inches and around 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches long. Also, several 1/2in nuts and bolts to help build motor mount. Several 1/2 and 9/16in nuts and bolts about 3-4inches long to help bolt two springs together if installing two springs for one. Get you some carriage bolts in 1/2 in or 9/16in as well to mount the end bearing plates onto the tracks. And get you some self tap screws. They are a must and a huge help. I'll still do the video and talk about which tools would be good to carry on your truck etc. But for now I hope this helps. Thanks

@@charlie6432 yeah, but it is truly amazing having ask your sockets have their own adapters. I live doing anything to increase how fast i work. Anything to make my work more efficient

Where did you buy the socket adapters? I cannot find the 7/16 or 9/16 anywhere.
Are you talking about for the ratchet?
Or just the actual socket adapters because they should be at a local Home depot or Lowe’s
