Good video. The DCT explanation was unclear. Because it has 2 clutches it can pre-load one gear (an upshift or downshift), and when you shift you do not have to wait for the car to change gears it just connects the other clutch and disconnects the one you were using which makes it for almost instant shifts. On a single clutch you'd have to disengage clutch , change gear and engage clutch again. If the transmission is not in R mode the upshift is always loaded, but if you put it in R mode, it pre loads upshift or downshift depending on how you drive, predicting which you would need.
@Zackrevoluzion yes, if you use it when driving normally the shifts will be slow, because it might thing you wanna downshift when you wanna upshift. Also puts a lot of stress on the synchro for no reason. Each time you press or depress the acceleration will preload an upshift or downshift .. when you drive fast your intention is clear.. wot or hard brake , car will know for sure what you need, but in the city it's only wworking the transmission extra hard.
@@japanomadmedia yeap! i actually knew abt that few years back when Jack posted a video abt it lol, plus higher rpm shift much quicker since more fluid pressure for instant shift btw a/b
It was a pleasure filming with you bro. I really enjoyed the video! Great job guys!
The fact that you don't have 100,000+ subs yet is insane. Awesome video keep it up!
@@or2wheels wow thank you! I think you’ll like our next video. It’s going to be “beginner vs pro race car driver in a simulator”!
Just want to remind people that the Gt500 has a dual clutch in auto rev matches as well you have to if you’re running a DCT transmission.
Love this!!!!
Thanks!

Wow, that’s really good insight. Thanks for explaining that!
💯
That is absolutely correct, hence why i dont use R mode when daily as well.

Love all the info! This car is awesome!
Great video. Mustangs have a device called an RTD, works just like an ECUTEK. You can log and tune using your phone
🔥🔥 beautiful machine
Sorry, what was that explanation of a dual clutch transmission? WTF?
A very very simplistic explanation
Crappiest explanation of dual clutch.
Dude wear ur seatbelt.
Sorry
Nothing really special about the GTR. This has been around since 2009 and has been milked to death.
Uaaauuu…i am impressed! What do you drive actually?
lol suburu driver
Ok. Thanks for your forensic insight!
My Camry is more special than a GTR. GTR is v6 automatic wow special.
Nice! What makes your Camry special?
Chill. Not everything is a d*** measuring contest. I’m sure your Camry is very “special”. But no need to talk down on someone else’s pride n joy.
