Then you have TF2. Which has no atmosphere noises (can depend on the map you're in) so when theirs nobody in the server its just dead silent. Its super creepy. Especially since you're used to having gunfire and funny stuff happening. Gives me major paranoia.

I honestly think Portal should be higher. Half-Life 2 is dark and prob deserves #1, but in terms of atmosphere, there’s a feeling that Portal has that no other Valve game does. You can’t forget Self-Esteem Fund.
