That Moe’s tip changed drastically my approach to my desperate quest for the elusive perfect golf swing or the “feeling of greatness swing”! His tip? Great job Todd, I’m 59 years old and play golf 3 times a week, I switched from a conventional swing to the single plane method because I wanted to be more consistent and to reduce stress on my lower back. It’s been about one month since the change, while I haven’t perfected the single plan, the results have been great. Broke 70 for the first time on my home course (hilly and tight course) which I normally shoot 76-78. I’ll continue to practice the techniques, it’s a continuous learning process!
Hearing someone a bit older than me gives me hope I can also learn this swing and I am already doing it partly. I like to tilt a lot to my right. So I will have to change my downswing and knee flexion. Start my address with the club 2 feet behind the ball. In and up on the backswing. Beautiful.
Hi Todd .in 80 years of so called learning how to strike the ball .You and Moe pure genius .all repeatable every club to driver and not paralysis by analysis. I thank you so much .watching you demonstrate it really was just like watching the amazing one and only Moe

This is your best introduction to Moe's SPS I've seen. This will be my go to link for anyone wanting to learn more about the: " Single Plane Swing" Todd. Excellent production! Your fade shots routine were simply fun to watch too, the great time you were having just sharing Moe's SPS and all the shots you have incorporated it within, leaves me envious for an equal. Your relationship with Moe was awesome. I can imagine his intimate friends list was as short as the most of us. Yet, you can surely claim a spot on Moe's short list, I'm sure.
Todd, this is the best instructional video I've ever seen. You hit shot after shot after shot after shot, straight... Then you pick up a regular 460CC driver and BOOM drive it down the fairway straight... put it down and pick up a 5 iron.. Same thing... then an old 190CC Persimmon head driver and CRACK there it does... down the fairway 240 yards of greatness.... THAT'S what I want to do! AMAZING swing! I just have one question... Can I see you strike a 1-iron?
a One iron. That would be a blast. Let me see if I can find one and I'll post a video. I used to have A ping 1 iron back in the day. Can't wait to post that video!
One of the most influential golf videos I have seen. Just brilliant. I was completely and utterly engrossed the whole time. I don’t know why this swing isn't used by everyone. My handicap got down to 10.9, then I had conventional lessons, now it's out to 18. Todd, thank you for such great instructions. I haven't played for two years and have a tournament this Friday and at 75, I been wanting to learn Moe's method for the past two years. You have the best most clearest and understanding method I have seen on this great player. Now its up to me to put this into action. I plan on implementing your instructions tomorrow at practice. If I can just achieve 40% of this I will be so satisfied with my game it will hopefully let me break 100 which I haven't done since 2008. I let you know next week how it went for me.
In spring 1990 I was in Pine Needles learning Bertholy Method ..Rod Claw etc.. when Mo stopped by on his way back from Fla.. hung out and watched him hit wedges... had lunch with Paul, Missy and Mo.. Priceless.. changed mt game..
Todd this was probably the best golf video I've seen. Really enjoyed it. I've been trying this method for about a year and having great success. Thank you for the great video.
I love this method of The Golf Swing. I believe that Moe’s method is by far the most natural golf swing. I am 67, and I would like to give you a multi-million dollar suggestion. Instead of having your great DVD’s teaching, make an App to buy with all of your teaching methods for sale. It will be a huge success. Thank you so much for what you do ( Making Golf Simple ).
Moe’s way, along with your help, has utterly changed my game. My irons have improved no end. Driver has improved (still got some work to do). The simplicity is the gift. Elegant, clean accurate shots. My wedges are now a huge strength rather than a weakness.
Yea Todd it's me again.....should have watched this video first. Best golf instruction video ever. Learned a lot. Minutes 15 to 20 with golf swing instruction was best yet. When you picked up a club you swung and instructed and when you were in a chair, I was ready to listen to your analysis. I should have seen this video first......thanks
Todd Graves is the master teaching to self realization. I thank you and continuing the lessons and knowledge of great being. Best greetings from Australia.
This is the BEST I have seen, easiest to understand and follow. It's "plane" to see why Moe's swing makes more sense. And duplicateable. Which is encouraging. We are SO FORTUNATE to have you carrying on this method.
Genuinely incredible. I read about Moe Norman a year ago when I was watching videos on ‘Count Yogi’ also arguably the greatest golfer of all time. I didn’t do any research in to Moe until recently. And it’s just incredible. I’ve only been playing 2 years and have gotten my handicap to 9. I shot 2 over in the club comp a few weekends back, and felt like I played as good as I could. So I’ve been trying to figure out how to improve my swing the “standard” way and it’s just fallen to pieces. I can’t fathom how to hit a ball anymore. Watching Moe Norman videos has inspired me to really try and play it in this manor. I just have no idea where to start 🙈
Thanks so much for sharing. I love the part about shaping shots. I play with guys all the time that hit a good but maybe not perfect drive in the fairway. Then they complain "where's my draw, where's my draw today".It so good to hear you say "I just want to always hit it straight. So simple.
I liked Todd's term for this game plan: "playing Miracle Golf"; Retaliative to those who are trying to shape shots off the tee as their best plan of action to Eagle.
I have recently started watching all your videos along with you and Moe Norman. It just makes so much sense. Especially for me! I haven’t been able to play golf in five years or better due to my Psoriatic Arthritis. My health and flexibility is greatly improved because of stretching and weight loss. As a result, I have begun using a broom handle to emulate what you teach. Very shortly, I’ll be able to transfer to the clubs and perfectly practice the single plain swing. If this works for me, it will actually give me the ability to play golf again. Happy days! Thank you for all you do Todd! 🙏🏻☘️
That was impressive. Simple, straight talking, easy to follow , logical explanation of a solid swing. Serious number of consistant, accurate, well hit shots too. The proof of the pudding is in the eating? This video had a massive appetite! So many shots hit and with no cutaways of the camera, great psycholology as well.
Hi Todd. This was a good summary that will help me. I have your book and have been swinging single plain for a few years. I understood your explanations because I have been around your material for a while. What I am trying to say is you left a lot of nuggets in this production that for me will help. Namely that the swing needs to always go into a stable lead knee with the trail leg down so that the straightness is maintained of the club face and a consistent low point is its additional by product. I have met people who met Moe and they always say he was a nice guy. You indeed should be celebrated for preserving his legacy and swing method. May you stay blessed and achieve your dreams 10x greater than your wildest dreams!
best golf strike and accuracy video I have ever seen. The alignment of the right arm, body tilt at address and left knee flex at impact SIMPLY stunning.for accuracy.
Before I discovered Moe, I had been going through what I like to call "the swing desert". Just nothing but endlessly traveling on an unclear path from one swing tip to the next, never seeming to get anywhere but always exhausted. Spent a year being pretty much unable to play, because I simply could not find a swing that I could be consistent with. It was a serendipitous moment. I was scrolling through swing tip videos online and came across a clip of Moe's TV demonstration in '94. Something about him, and something about his swing just sang a lovely tune to me and I figured I'd follow the music to wherever it led to - what did I have to lose at that point? Nothing , I thought to myself; I couldn't get worse if I tried, so it's all uphill from here. I went out to the range later that day after doing some more research on his technique, and it was the damnedest thing - all of a sudden, I was hitting more good shots than bad ones. Naturally, I still struggled with it but after discovering Kirk Junge's minimalist single plane system (he was a student of Moe, and taught his swing for many years) everything came together. Now when I stand over the ball, I have a strong sense of confidence that the ball will do what I tell it to do. It doesn't always follow my instructions to the letter, occasionally it takes some creative license and wanders offline a bit. Sometimes it gets downright rebellious and changes the whole plan on me, but it doesn't take much to dissuade it from that sort of behavior - just a few solid practice swings are enough to bring everything back into balance.
Great way of teaching, actually demonstrating instead of just talking about it. I can attest to this technique, gained distance and control effortlessly. Great video Mr. Graves!
Todd, great video and thank you for sharing your life story about Moe, you have really brought Moe back and so much great information. It must have been incredible meeting and working with this legend ! Great job ⛳️
Great Video Todd Graves! I met Moe several times in the early 90's then got to play/hang with him when he came up to DeBary Golf & C.C. He was easy to love Not pretentious and I think he dressed to annoy stuffy people. The worlds first Punk Golfer and the best ball-striker I have ever seen along with Hogan.. . I want to say 1995, He was so gracious, hilarious, helpful and I saw him do things that I don't think anyone could possibly match, hitting balls on the range and landing three balls in a row right on top of the first one. I got such a kick out of how he mischievously showed off like you mentioned "I know I'm good" and yet not at all arrogant. What a blessing of it was to catch some of his sunshine and I can imagine you feel fortunate to have spent so much time with that man. Great to see your video and loved it!.(P.S. I hate you for how pure you are hitting it!, :p -(j/k)
This channel is absolute gold thank you so much Todd you've made the game so enjoyable for me again! Results are starting to show after lots of hard graft!
Huge thanks for offering this content for free (could have easily sold this as a DVD etc, actually it's better than most I've seen), whether you want to follow this or not it's excellent content and worth a watch for any golfer IMO. A nice change from the "miracle cure", "magic move" type videos that others post.
I have been watching all your video’s for a year now, bought your book, videos, alignment board and recently bought the single plane trainer. Iam sold on your SPS. It’s a process to hit all 0-6 positions to set up too finish. There no other feeling when you hit it solid. My back is great now, I can hit balls for hours. Now it time put all together in 2022 golf season! Thanks Todd for your dedication to our sport.
This is the best video for me so far. You are smiling while teaching the perfect swing. And only pointing out what to do. Love it. So stop compare to other swings and keep us pointing to this magic please.
BRILLIANT VIDEO and spoken and explained so low handicappers can relate too and it's not all about Jack Nicklaus etc.... I.M.O Moe Norman will always be down to earth and vastly more entertaining and honest.... he said what was in his head and not what people want to hear..... I've been a fan of MOE since i first stumbled on his videos and hooked ever since..... i've save this video and feel you are almost an incarnation of Moes game and will be watching this video over and over.... thanks for a thrilling visit Todd
I watched Moe hit golf balls at Don Valley Golf course a long time ago and was so amazed, he hit the ball so well that I watched in awe .... he was a true legend ...
Moe Norman and Count Yogi. The two greatest ball strikers ever, nobody has heard about. Much. Great video, Moe was awesome. He would have been awesome to know. A real character.
What an excellent, and well though out video! Obviously the most complete, and best explanation of Moe Norman's swing that exists. I hit a straight ball, and completely agree with your thoughts on why this is the best approach to playing golf. So much detail as to the different parts of this swing that was just plain valuable knowledge to have about the golf swing in general. Can't thank you enough for the time and effort you've spent in learning this swing, AND for sharing it with us.
Well todd I guess Moe's soul is still with you because you have the same effortless swing that moe had I know you were such a good friend to him and studied his swing for so long God bless you and God bless Moe. I'm sure anybody would love to spend the day with you on a golf course to gain even 1/100 of you and Moe's swing I'm sure his spirit is still with you
Thank you Tood for your candidness in this video. I learned a whole lot and will implement what I have taken away from your teachings. keep up the great work. RIP Moe Norman. he did achieve greatness.
Greatest lesson here: moes mentality. It doesnt matted how yoy swing, if you know youll hit it well, and you let go of control, you gain the ability to hit it well and have all the control. Many golf psychologist will agree. From green to tee, you need moes mentality.
Todd, I came across your videos when I googled “single plane swing”. That led to digging up more, Moe Norman...and this all just made so much sense. So I ended up buying your book on Amazon, and after reading a few chapters and practicing and trying to emulate and feel your (Moe’s and yours!) swing, I couldn’t believe it! I’m far from capturing my swing, and I’m still struggling to unlearn my classic swing and undo lots of muscle memory, but the few swings I had implementing the points in your book (felt awkward as hell!) produced balls of such flight with such ease that I’m encouraged to continue on this journey. Thank you!
everything ive watched and have purchased from you guys has been well worth it and then some, Graves Golf in the single plane academy has been a treasure trove of information, thank you very much.
What a great video! Brings back so many memories. What I remember most from Natural Golf is the same repeatable swing with less moving parts. Target in front of ball. Slight movement of right foot in or out for fade or draw. Also yes, learning from watching first and then try to emulate.
Thank you so much. This makes so much sence. I'm working thru injuries, was in fa car accident ony ebike. I don't have the same flexibility as I did when I was younger. We dont bounce back from injuries at 55 like we did when we were 25 years old. 😢😢🤣
Very nice to watch Todd. It is always wonderful and inspiring to share + learn from others on the Journey. I am on my own journey. Moe and you are a part of this journey for quiet a while now. I am very grateful for that. One day i love to come over there. All best wishes 🤗🏌🏻⛳️
Best explanation on why and how that I've ever seen. I havnt golfed for 5 years now. I'm 55 years old and don't have near the power or flexibility that I used to. This is going to be my new swing so I can hopefully enjoy the game more than I did in the past
I loved watching this video. So entertaining yet very informational. I can’t wait to get my back fixed to where I can start to learn this. I watched you hit every ball and not one was mis hit or shanked or duffed which to me shows once you get the swing in correct sequence you can’t or won’t miss hit! Thank you
Thank You Todd, you have cleared up a couple of my misconceptions about your swing and MOE'S SWING relating to stance and feet width ! Thank you so very much !
I didn’t quite get the Moe swing before watching this, it now makes sense. Especially as when I was off 1. I remember my hands always swinging out towards the target and my divots were shallow but long. Had to take 15 years out from Golf due to a family crisis, just when I was playing my best Golf, hope I can get some of the same back again, I know fully I will have to work hard at it. Great Video
Thank you Todd from France, i have discovered your videos recently and now i try to watch them everyday. I like very much the simplicity of your teaching and transmission of this method built from your experience close to the legendary Moe. it’s a beautiful gift from Moe, through you, for All of us, learning golfers. Merci et bravo Messieurs Moe et Todd !
This happened! At the range last night……pushing, slicing the ball trying everything and anything to hit the ball even just reasonable. I had watched a 2 part Moe youtube vid the night before and said what the heck. As best I could understand I tried to mimic the “Moe” swing. Hit a few not bad………it got a little better….better. Took out my driver and started hitting for me wonderful drives. So intrigued I got another extra large bucket and started smoking them really straight and for me long, was thrilled. I will now convert to this “quirky” way to hit the ball and it starts right here with this really great vid by Todd Graves. It is the beginning of June. Let me look at the results by Sept. and I will let you know on this post what happened. My official handicap is 13, which means I am at best mediocre. See you in the fall.
just wanted to personally thank you I had been playing for 5 years and it just seemed like I was never going to get any better. I stumbled across your single plane swing video and I holed out for eagle yesterday after just practicing it for a few days!

If I can just achieve 40% of this I will be so satisfied with my game it will hopefully let me break 100 which I haven't done since 2008. I let you know next week how it went for me.
Next week has long gone.
In spring 1990 I was in Pine Needles learning Bertholy Method ..Rod Claw etc.. when Mo stopped by on his way back from Fla.. hung out and watched him hit wedges... had lunch with Paul, Missy and Mo.. Priceless.. changed mt game..
Mr Graves you are the Messenger and Witness to the Great Moe. Thank You from Scotland.
you're welcome.
Todd this was probably the best golf video I've seen. Really enjoyed it. I've been trying this method for about a year and having great success. Thank you for the great video.
Thank you!
You bet! Thank you.
Great vid, thanks for keeping the legend ball striker alive. I have study him for many years.
Thanks for watching!
That's a quite incredible exhibition, I
Am thinking this is possibly the best golf instruction video I've seen on Yt
Thanks Todd
Wow, thanks!
Todd Graves is the master teaching to self realization.
I thank you and continuing the lessons and knowledge of great being.
Best greetings from Australia.
Thank you.
This is the BEST I have seen, easiest to understand and follow. It's "plane" to see why Moe's swing makes more sense. And duplicateable. Which is encouraging. We are SO FORTUNATE to have you carrying on this method.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks.
Made my day reading that. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Agreed. It's not a one off performance either. Todd is awesome.
The alignment of the right arm, body tilt at address and left knee flex at impact SIMPLY stunning.for accuracy.
thanks.
I really appreciate how he applies his own genius to Mo Norman's genius. You should be very proud. Inspiration is infectious apparently
Thanks for sharing all this and preserving and spreading the legacy of Moe.
You bet!
Awesome job Todd and congratulations for having the courage to step out mid career and take a risk. You’ve got my attention.
Great way of teaching, actually demonstrating instead of just talking about it. I can attest to this technique, gained distance and control effortlessly. Great video Mr. Graves!
Quite frankly the most sensible explanation of the golf swing and strike I’ve ever heard. 👍
Todd, great video and thank you for sharing your life story about Moe, you have really brought Moe back and so much great information. It must have been incredible meeting and working with this legend !
Great job ⛳️
I just received your book, The single plane Golf Swing, it is absolutely wonderful. Thank you immensely
Glad you like it! You're welcome.
Hey Todd, thanks for putting this up. You've certainly given me more than enough for me to practice.
Glad I could help.
Many thanks for sharing this video, Todd. Greetings from Poland.
Huge thanks for offering this content for free (could have easily sold this as a DVD etc, actually it's better than most I've seen), whether you want to follow this or not it's excellent content and worth a watch for any golfer IMO. A nice change from the "miracle cure", "magic move" type videos that others post.
Ian Hatton thanks
I have been watching all your video’s for a year now, bought your book, videos, alignment board and recently bought the single plane trainer. Iam sold on your SPS. It’s a process to hit all 0-6 positions to set up too finish. There no other feeling when you hit it solid. My back is great now, I can hit balls for hours. Now it time put all together in 2022 golf season! Thanks Todd for your dedication to our sport.
Thanks Mr. Graves, you have surpassed your calling!
Thank you.
This is the best video for me so far. You are smiling while teaching the perfect swing. And only pointing out what to do. Love it. So stop compare to other swings and keep us pointing to this magic please.
Good point.
No doubt.
Much respect my man. Great ball striking and great teaching style...
I'm really enjoying this video . It is making sense to me after all these years . Thanks for posting . I'll be in touch shortly
Great. I look forward to hearing from you.
Moe Norman and Count Yogi. The two greatest ball strikers ever, nobody has heard about. Much. Great video, Moe was awesome. He would have been awesome to know. A real character.
Yes.
Todd, I have never seen anyone hit consistent straight shots like this. I love this swing pattern. Thanks for this video
YOu're welcome.
I'm sure anybody would love to spend the day with you on a golf course to gain even 1/100 of you and Moe's swing I'm sure his spirit is still with you
Great stuff...I keep thinking Sean Payton is teaching me a new golf swing.
lol. Not the first time I have heard that.
Thank you Tood for your candidness in this video. I learned a whole lot and will implement what I have taken away from your teachings. keep up the great work. RIP Moe Norman. he did achieve greatness.
Fascinating video from start to finish. Will have to seriously think about overhauling my whole swing.
Greatest lesson here: moes mentality. It doesnt matted how yoy swing, if you know youll hit it well, and you let go of control, you gain the ability to hit it well and have all the control.
Many golf psychologist will agree. From green to tee, you need moes mentality.
Awesome Clinic: The Best I've seen
Thank you for the great realization!!! Appreciate you!
Fantastic Todd. Getting that trail arm in line with shaft and lead arm slightly higher feels so good. It must have been great to share time with Mo.
Yes it was!
Thank you!
Great to hear you've started. Keep working on the basic principles. IT gets better and better.
everything ive watched and have purchased from you guys has been well worth it and then some, Graves Golf in the single plane academy has been a treasure trove of information, thank you very much.
Thanks Trez.
Even at 70, I want to improve after seeing this
love this ,mate I whent to the course and hit some beautiful shots I'm sticking with this thankyou
Wow! Actually seeing the ball come off the club so straight makes me realize how truly unique this is.
People probably never will appreciate how truly great moe wàs
Glad to help
Hey Todd thanks for sharing this great man’s insights,Moe was just a lover of golf and the game is. better for it
I didn’t quite get the Moe swing before watching this, it now makes sense.
Thank you!
This is so epic, I cannot wait to go practice this stuff today.
You have so much great content in your videos.Awesome! Thank you so much for your hard work!
Thank you
Moe Norman, Joe Dante and Ben hogan are my all time favorite legends of the game
Feeling of greatness is a real thing
Very Cool! Thanks for letting me know. Nice Eagle.
