Somente se as rodas forem de alumínio que não precisa de lubrificante. Porém se elas forem de ferro precisa sim, acumulado de ferrugem dificulta a tirar os parafusos manualmente e promovem desgaste. Tenham sempre em mente que um carro novo é uma coisa e um carro velho é outra coisa. Conheço e prático mecanica dês dos 16 anos em veículos leves e pesados, em tratores, lanchas, motos etc etc. 👀
I have never seen one in all my BMWs ! And I say more. BMWs of years ago had a toolbox with various things in it. Today there is practically almost nothing in that box.
@@aris1956 When they say that you should tighten to a certain torque, there should also be an accompanying torque wrench with the car. Otherwise, they shouldn't allow one to change a wheel by oneself.
This is the worst thing ever. I already had to deal with 3 stripped/broken lock keys. I replaced all of them with regular bolts. Better having my wheels stolen than this garbage.

They change the friction of the thread, altering the clamping preload of the fastener for the equivalent applied torque.

Funny thing, a socket fit over the lock smacked with a hammer breaks that lock internally. Silly, wheel locks do not work.
