Job well done Anna. I am 70 years old, and I not only do a deep clean after Christmas I do a deep clean every 7 weeks. Including moving all appliances, cleaning behind and cleaning them, Move most of my furniture, cleaning behind them too. Dust and clean all my windows, sills inside and out. All baseboards are cleaned too. I clean all my cabinets, drawers and closets and floors every time as well. My home is 2200 square feet. I have an all-glass sunroom, so I do clean the windows in there weekly. When I am not cleaning for that week, I swim for 1 1/2 hours 3 times a week, sometimes 4. I like to keep active for my well-being. Mental health is so important. I love coming home to a clean and well-organized home. And yes, I bought all new bedding as well as a few new pieces of decor to make my home look new again. Just like yours. Happy New Year.

Surfaces get so dirty during Christmas, especially around garland. I do clean, but not deep clean. You are very lucky to have Ernie's help. Goes so much faster.

Hi Anna! First I have to say that all of your uploads are motivational and thank you for that! I deep clean every 3 months and do basic cleaning once a week and my whole family does a 5 minute tidy up every night after dinner to music that we can dance and clean to. Everyone tackles one thing to the music for five minutes and then we can rest.

We just got new floors in every inch of our house, closets included. We had a flood situation in November. It could have been worse and we took the opportunity to replace all the flooring and baseboards. We literally moved everything out of the house, it equated to moving out and moving back in. The entire house is clean and it’s like having a new house. I changed out some curtains and bought a new living room area rug and some throw rugs for the entryways. It was a huge hassle and we didn’t have Christmas decor this year but it was worth it in the end. We replaced the master bathroom faucets as they were worn. Small changes make such a difference. We love our home too. Husband is a great help. We’ve been in our house for 24 years and doubt we’ll move. He looked around the other night and said how beautiful and happy he is with the house.

I usually put off the deep clean until spring because I feel so overwhelmed by the decor take down process. My house is so small that it doesn't take too long to do a deep clean but I'll be honest I don't deep clean as often as I think I should. LOL When I finally do it though I am always mad I put it off because it really feels good to have everything clean and fresh again!
I did a nice refresh and deep clean after I took the Christmas decorations down. I keep up with my home pretty well also. But I am looking forward to warmer weather the refresh the outside of my home.
I love to deep clean after packing up Christmas, my spring cleaning consists more of removing items that no longer serve me & more drop offs to the goodwill😁

I do a deep clean after taking down my Christmas decorations. I usually take down my decorations after my visiting family leave to go back home. A deep cleaning is usually needed after having family with young children visiting… I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When you combine visitors with Christmas decor, it's a LOT of work in the aftermath! I had both like you did Anna and I'm still cleaning guest rooms! I'm 61 so I can't zoom around like when I was even 41 but I'll get it done, lol. Totally worth it to have my family with me and my grandkids loving the decorations😊❤

Good evening, thanks for the motivation. I normally do a deep cleaning in the months of April, June, August, October, December. Then January -March I focus on my closest, all drawers, and cabinets. When deep cleaning I do, walls, windows, baseboards, window seals, all light fixtures, behind all the appliances. Flip or turn our mattress. One thing here in southwest VA people have fireplaces or gas logs in our home which can cause alot of dust. Normally just keep on top of the cleaning.The weather is so unpredictable its hard to go all into deep cleaning everything. Then some days i just go all in. I love a clean and organized home. We are empty nester's, so its pretty easy to stay on top. Have a great weekend. We are going to be getting snow.
Hi Anna, I clean every Saturday. My family loves a clean home but hates how I am always cleaning. After Christmas I took it all down and did some reset. As you said I keep up with my home so I really don't need to do a spring cleaning. I did the top of my kitchen cabinets and wiped down the cabinets. I clean under the stove and fridge every week. I know a bit much but I like to do it. I like to keep a clean house so weekends are for changing all the beds and bedding, floor mats and such. A good dusting all over and I clean the front door and back doors as they are used daily and are all glass. We have no carpets so I vacuum and steam mop every week. I feel that is why I don't do spring cleaning. I stay on top of my home to avoid huge cleaning. BTW it took me two days to get my home cleaned after the Christmas take down. So happy its all done.

I’m a crazy one I’m painting my kitchen, cleaning inside and outside of all of my cabinets. It feels so good to get it done. Your home is looking fabulous I love watching you. You do motivate me and I learn from all your tips. All of our Christmas decorations are put away and I do have a husband that helps me too and I feel very fortunate to have him. We will be heading to our condo in FL soon and even though it's been closed up for a couple months, it will need dusting. We clean when we get there and clean when we leave. My Christmas was up by November 1 and down by New Year's weekend !! I enjoyed having it up longer this year ..I've decorated for Spring with Mardi Gras thrown in !! Also have been going thru every storage bin to declutter, it's an awesome feeling to have everything organized, something I've only been able to do in retirement !! I'm really appreciating my small home , so easy to keep it up !! Love that Ernie is a hands on husband , like my hubby , I'm blessed beyond measure !! We will be heading to our condo in FL soon and even though it's been closed up for a couple months, it will need dusting. We clean when we get there and clean when we leave.

My Christmas was up by November 1 and down by New Year's weekend !! I enjoyed having it up longer this year ..I've decorated for Spring with Mardi Gras thrown in !! Also have been going thru every storage bin to declutter, it's an awesome feeling to have everything organized, something I've only been able to do in retirement !! I'm really appreciating my small home , so easy to keep it up !! Love that Ernie is a hands on husband , like my hubby , I'm blessed beyond measure !! Thank you for another great video. I usually do a big clean and change decor after Christmas. So far I have all the Christmas put away, but I am waiting on the cleaning, and I can't hardly wait! I am cat sitting for my daughters cat while she is working out of town. She will be home 1/19 so look out the next day😀 - I will start cleaning. You have inspired me to look at new curtains and rugs - just to give my home a new look.

I just finished few days ago getting my Christmas decor put away and doing a deep clean and reset my home. It feels so good!! I do a little winter decor nothing to crazy because after Christmas who have the energy.

Hi Anna I do a good cleaning after taking my decorations down but I also do a deep cleaning in the spring . Living in the Adirondacks in Upstate New York we have cold winters and we have a wood burning stove which causes so much dust it’s necessary to do both .Thanks for all the motivation!
Ohhhh yeah. I can see how those cold weather places most likely need a good deep clean when the weather warms up!
