Anna we had a black streak down our tv, we have a warranty for 5 years. The Geek squad came out and could not fix it so we got a new tv because of the warranty. When they replaced,ours we got an updated one. Anna I did the same thing and I was so mad because the new towels I got are horrible when you try to dry off it takes forever. Thank you for the information on the towels, I looked on Google and found Amazon has them for $49.99, with 890 mostly 5 stars. The Macy’s reviews stated the towels were thin. Hi Anna, your breakfast looked really good. I too go through a lot of batteries and have noticed they don’t last as long any more. It’s frustrating when you pay the prices and don’t get your monies worth. Glad they are replacing your tv for you. That too is frustrating. Hopefully you will have a good relaxing evening when Ernie gets home.

Soak your towels a bucket with HOT water and a scoop of Oxi clean white. Soak at least 24 hours. I was told this by a gentleman who bought old vintage tablecloths. His tablecloths sparkle white. This never had failed me. Even old stains have come out. On the plus side won’t ruin your fabric like bleach does.

So sorry about the TV Anna. Gosh ours is years old (NOT a frame) & made the 3 week storage & trek from Pennsylvania to Texas and it’s currently going strong on our back porch. My mom always said the more bells and whistles, the more to go wrong. 😊 As far as batteries goes, we only buy Duracell and I haven’t noticed an issue. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did a quick google search and saw some towels by Martha Stewart 100% cotton and different pattern. I’ve had great luck with threshold-Target brand towels. They last forever. My family likes the bath sheets that aren’t always easy to find, and I always buy 100% cotton as well.

Ohhhhh Nooooo Hot Water…… always cold water when a stain. Other great powders 20 Mule Team Borex. I hopping everything works. If not try my method. No dryer!!

Miss Anna, white vinegar, baking soda, soak cold water! 1 load!!! ( use medium water… too much water defeats the purpose. 2nd load … pure Peroxide… soak. Wash cold water. If still pink… Clorox. If still pink… on patio to direct sunlight all day. Do I think you would do all this? Naw… giggle. Your wam bam thank you Mame. lol. Good Luck. No sun down here today so I’m sure not much where you are. Sunlight is the best!

OMG….you lived in Temecula?????? I LOVE Temecula (wine country and good food too) - I’ve been several times with friends from here (Iowa) but my daughter also lives in Irvine which is 1 1/2 ish hour drive and we go when we can. Did you visit any of the wineries when you lived there?

Try soaking them in a bucket with Oxi Clean for a couple of days. I got a year old ice tea stain out of a vintage tablecloth. I let it stay in the bucket a couple of days.

A gentleman who owned/operated a laundry told me once to not dry stained items as the heat seals in the stain. His point was to work to remove stain first...then wash/dry.

I been noticing I am having same battery problems with my Christmas Wreath inside and my few houses! I have to keep changing them out! (They start to dim really fast)! What is going on?

Omgosh, I noticed a couple nights ago the same things going on with my batteries. I have three mini table top trees that use batteries and have had the same ones in for two years. This year I have changed them twice so far and they need to be changed again. What the hey is going on? (This year meaning since the middle of November). I am the same in that I buy the jumbo packs from Costco and have used two packs already and waiting on my next trip to Costco to pick up another. These cannot possibly be fully charged batteries or are they recycling old ones!? Who knows nowadays.

The brand we have is Semaxe. Love them. In case you can’t find the Martha Stewart ones. 😊

I purchased our batteries from Costco and have never had an issue with them. Kirkland brand.

We had a dark spot on our Samsung TV. It drove my son nuts when he came to visit, so he bought us a new one for Christmas last year. He said it is a common issue with the big screens. Ours was not under warranty, so we were stuck with it.
