Hi Anna. I understand how you feel about restaurants, I feel the same way. I don’t think we’re germaphobes, especially after the Covid outbreak. When I leave a store or any public place, as soon as I get in my car, my hands get sanitized and I even do the steering wheel. I tried that solution on my tables in my living room, and what a big difference.
To make the cleaning of your table you should buy a table cover and place a tablecloth on it when you have company. I have a similar table and I always use them, and you just have to lightly wipe it down. I think all that water is not good for the wood. It would also save you a lot of time.

I dont like touching the menus either. I bring my own hand sanitizer and i use it a million times when im out especially at restaurants. Im glad im not the only one.

I do the same thing with my dinner table. I like to get all those crumbs and dirt that get in between those cracks. I use a mini desk top vacuum, it helps so much get those crumbs out, but I also use a wet microfiber cloth with dawn power wash after, works like a charm ❤. Thanks for the motivation.

I love hearing some of your cleaning tips that you use for your house that we can use for our houses. ❤ I think getting a small bowl of soapy water for our tables and chairs are very helpful and is definitely a habit we all need to get into at least once a month. There’s nothing wrong with being too careful with germs because you never know what’s going around in the world. Yes geocery shopping is very important because we all need to eat.
I love those candles! I am with you and restaurants! They are not taken care of for the use of the public, I hate getting a menu with fingers prints or it is sticky evern from being wiped off, I watch them and the rag is never rinsed!!!! YUCK! I would rather eat at home. I do go out randonly to a really nice place where I know the food is more appealing and the place is clean. Seems like everything is fast food related or cheaper which equals cheaper food stock or near expiration date You would think with what we have been through they would continue to clean the establishment as well! If possible I woud love to see your bolognese sauce recipe, I think that is what you mentioned as one of the meals you are preparing. That is my new found go to! Great Video Anna!

Kaboom is the best isn’t it? Our tub hasn’t been used in 10 years. I run the jets every few months and wipe it down every couple of weeks but we don’t take baths. I’m not crazy about using restaurant table condiments either. I hate when menus are sticky 😂. It’s funny too about hotels. I love staying at a nice hotel. I would never purchase a used mattress but yet when you stay at a hotel you’re sleeping on a mattress that many have slept on. I guess when it comes to restaurants and hotels you just can’t think about certain things too much! I enjoy your cleaning videos.
So many great ideas. FYI... we did get the spin mop and we love it. As you do, we will keep the mop vac also but the spin mop works so well. You provide so many great ideas... I'm off to do the bathroom and shower.....
I don’t think you are weird, I take my own silverware to restaurants. I purchased myself and my husband our own sets on Amazon and they come with their own zipper pouches and I keep 2 sets in each vehicle so we always have them with us. I also read the menu on my phone beforehand and memorize what I will order. Now you probably don’t feel so weird, right? 😂😂😂

YES! But want to know what works amazing on really bad soap scum? The pink stuff bathroom foam cleaner! I use it on my windows when the sprinkler hits them. We have super hard water and it wipes those hard water stains right off. It's what I keep on hand for tough jobs!

Hey, Darlene. I started sleeping with a mouthpiece for snoring, #1. I wasn't sleeping well because of that. Now I don't snore. I got it at Walmart. SnoreMD-Anti-Snoring-Aid. It was about 40 dollars. I also started taking something to help level my blood sugar, not diabetic and this isn't for that, it's just a great supplement.
