I’m am learning how to properly walk away. The back and forth and in and out relationship I don’t want anymore. Serve no purpose for what I’m seeking

The more I hear you. The more I like you. Would be so great to have you as a real life friend.

I have been compassionate; I have forgiven multiple times... I have communicated clearly and respectfully. This man-child is undependable, flaky, lack integrity at the end of the day. He gets upset at the slightest misconception, too. I have to walk away.

I gave him the chance and all i ended up gaslighting and narsistic behaviour and it disappointed me even more

Same. 😔 I was far more patient and understanding than anyone else could have ever been. But I finally had to accept reality and see him for who he really was. It’s been very disappointing, but in a way it contributes to closure for me in that walking away was the right decision for me. That he just wasn’t the right one after all.

These are REAL gems!! I think women need a better strategy because cut off game is not baring results. It protects you, but it doesn’t provide what many women want, a loving communicative relationship where they feel safe.

Wow you might be the first TH-camr in history to actually ADMIT your title was clickbait lol…
This was great advice and something I learned by looking at my own flaws. Although for the most part I have healed from my childhood traumas, experiences, etc. there is still residue that I work through on a continuing basis and I wouldn’t want anyone to give up on me without giving me a chance. From my own former thinking and also talking to other women, I realize many of us want to be understood by men and we want grace but we don’t want to understand them and give the same grace. Like you said, it’s one thing if they are abusers, liars, etc. but if he is simply a flawed man who is trying his best, he deserves the same chance that we feel we deserve.

I walked away in 2015. Although I did the difficult and right thing for myself back then, today I still have nothing to show. Feels like either way I'm punished. Hurts to stay, hurts to leave and end up older & nowhere. But the only thing I do have now is my dignity and self respect.

This is one sided. The title is so misleading. You should have titled this for women only. There are also good men out there who also need to walk away from unhealthy relationships that are not going anywhere.
