  • We bought an RVLock V4 Keyless RV door lock to replace the factory equipped lock and handle. We'll walk your through how to install the RVLock V4 and give a little review, first thoughts, on the lock. We also ended up replacing our CH715 tumbler locks to add extra security to our luggage doors.
We chose the compact RVLock v4 from RVLock.com. This model features the numeric keypad and a remote rob for keyless entry into the RV. We are also replacing our CH751 tumbler locks with luggage door locks, also from RVLock.com. Since we ordered them all at the same time, they keyed every lock the same. So that means even less keys for us!
The install was pretty easy and straight forward and we kept our old RV door lock just in case, but this thing seems pretty durable!

Love mine, very secure and I don't have to unlock a door every time someone wants to go in when it is locked.

I just bought this identical trailer (2019 287BHS) and the same exact door lock.

I wonder what your son will think when he's old enough to start asking questions like .. what you were thinking when you got that tattoo

Thanks for posting! Side note - I also have an Apex Nano. What did you do on your door? Mine currently only opens until perpendicular to the wall. Did you remove the hydraulic piston to get it to open 180 degrees? Thanks!

Great video! We have the same Apex trailer. Are there a lot of different sizes to buy? If so, which one did you purchase? We’re thinking that would fit ours as well, being the same trailer.

We just installed ours. We had a different brand at first which was not that great. The RV Lock brand is much better.

We are really loving it so far. We almost opted for a cheaper brand, but RVLock just had such overwhelmingly good reviews!

What did you use to "seal" the lock to the door?

What park were you at when you did this video?

We were at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. It was a really nice park!
