    I have just made pizza crust, following your recipe word by word, and the taste and structure of the dough are very good indeed! While it was baking the dough rose, so I had to prick it with a fork. Baked pizza is 18-19 cm in diameter; I wonder if yours is larger, as it looks in the testing part of this video, when Tenner is holding a segment. Thanks a lot, Petra! Happy Holidays!

    I am so glad I found your video. I have been looking for keto bread recipe without egg. I mean I am tired of eating egg all the time. I failed my first keto bread. However, I was able to make a keto flatbread. I never thought coconut flour would be so tasty as a flatbread. I tried it as a pancake but I did not like it. I guess the psyllium made it all taste better. I thought psyllium was just a laxative. I never thought it was used in baking.

      Thank you for letting me know, Carolyn! I just updated the links. I have never used the psyllium I just linked to, but the packaging says 99% purity (extra white), which is what I look for. Just make sure you're purchasing whole husk, not a powder (the company carries both). The product I linked to is whole husk :)

    • @manus553

      Nutritional yeast works great in the crackers! You may need to adjust the volume of water a tiny bit to get the right dough consistency. The wraps freeze well.

      @NutritionRefined  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much Helena! ❤️ Unfortunately, you can't use homemade coconut flour for this recipe. Or, let me rephrase - you can, but the amount will be different. When you powder dried coconut (as opposed to using flour made from coconut milk pulp), the flour is very high in fat and less absorbent. Store-bought coconut flour is more absorbent. So, if you give it a try and use homemade coconut flour, just know that you will need to experiment a bit :)

      Hmm, I am sorry but if you replace all the dry ingredients, it will be a completely different recipe. Unfortunately, you cannot replace the psyllium in this recipe.

    The problem I have with both almond and coconut flour is it makes the bread too sweet, so if you want to eat it as a savoury meal, it doesn’t taste very nice. Just my opinion.

    • @NutritionRefined
      @NutritionRefined  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some of the recipes have very little coconut flour, so the sweetness is very subtle. Also, you could probably substitute almond flour for sunflower seeds flour.

      She is a nutritionist that loves creating useful content and healthy recipes. Her husband is supporting her by giving honest feedback.
