These look great! They are in my oven rising right now. I added some bloomed yeast for flavor, and they may or may not rise. With the baking powder alone your's got a great rise. Somehow my dough turned out wetter, so I had to add a bit more psyllium and I added a T. of heavy cream powder to help dry up the dough too. I'm letting them rise for 20 minutes, then I'll bake. I hope mine look as good as yours. Thanks for developing the recipe.
Preheat oven 350F. Mix flour, psyllium husk, baking powder (dry). Get two egg whites add sweetener and whip into a meringue. Add hot water to dry ingredients and mix. Fold meringue into dough. Add two yolks, salt and mix dough. Roll Dough and Cut into 4 Pieces. Round Each Piece. Egg Wash the Tops of Each Bun. Add sesame seeds. Bake 60 Min.
These look fantastic! I have a question though. The recipe states 2 egg whites, but the video shows 2 eggs divided (2 whites whipped, and 2 yolks stirred in.) I am also wondering if the whites really need to be whipped as they seem to deflate in the stirring process. Thanks for another great video!
I like the recipe very much and would love to try it out. In order to do that I prefer to weigh the ingredients. That way it can't go wrong. What are the amounts of grams for the ingredients?
@@Addieisgoinghome No, it's not. Only the measurements of the ingredients and the weight of the flour is given. Measurements are not exact. For example, the weight of 1 cup US is not the same as that of 1 cup UK. Therefore the recipe could end up very differently than intended. I'm European, so if I use a cup to measure, I don't know if that's a US cup or a UK cup. It doesn't say so on the measuring tool. Weight is exact and universal. If you use grams the recipe can't go wrong, no matter where you're from.
*The texture is surprisingly similar to regular buns, and they hold up well. Perfect for making keto-friendly sandwiches.*

Hello…
What is the exact measurement for Grams & Milliliters?
Next time I’m going to cut the stevia by half and only do about 3/4 cup water. Otherwise this is the best recipe yet. Thanks!
How much ml water?
May I ask if you use pre ground up psyllium or you have to grind it up first? Thank you.
Now almond flour is so expensive in NZ? I'm gluten free cos it makes me very sick.
Most of the recipes I see call for baking at less than half this time. 60 minutes is correct? Really want to try this one.
Could you edit your printed recipe? It doesn't show the egg yolks, and is a tad bit confusing because of that. Those buns look amazing.
Yeah sure thanks ..
@@ketospoon thanks.
I want to know why my psyllium husk powder turns everything a disgusting shade of grayish purple. It's totally unappealing. What am I doing wrong?
Instead of psyllium husk can I use ground flaxseed?
Nope
what is the carb count for each bun?
Looks like more than 6 carbs
Is that psyllium husk powder?
Sure it is not seeds so i thougt if i need to do powder in my food processor
How much grams of almond flour in 1 cup

Ano kaya temp and time if air fryer po?
I am a little confused on the temperature to bake them in video it shows 250-350 degrees???
I did 250’C it depend on how big or thick you portion the bun if like normal size put it in 250’C

If you know how to put the eggs whites they still remain airy
@@lorenajijie9442 Thanks; yes, I know how to fold egg whites in, but this video does not seem to demonstrate that...
My thoughts too... On the necessity to separate and beat the egg whites till stiff...
Other than that, the recipe seems good. Will try it out☺️
@@shasnekhut6639 Let me know how it goes...
@@Sundial1k sure!
I like this recipe because it’s not full of Mozz cheese. Ty
I thought the exact same thing!
Can u use air fryer? If yes, how long?
I didn’t try it yet maybe I will try on my next content 😇

Wow ! excellent. Best thing is no xanthum gum and no flax meal which I hate.
Cuando puse el agua caliente se hicieron grumos por el psyllium,
Its must be 250f otherwise it will burn 🔥
aaaargh eggs! 😭
