- President George Bush and President-Elect Barack Obama met privately for a half-hour Wednesday morning, before they were to make history. The two then had lunch with the three other living presidents: Jimmy Carter, George Herbert Walker Bush, and Bill Clinton. VOA's Carolyn Presutti explains why the event was historic.
Jimmy Carter is now 96, incredible. They all met together one last time in 2017, one year before Bush Sr. passed away.

Yeah, he remains one of the most vastly underrated Presidents in U.S. history. But that has only fueled him to go the distance post-Presidency and break every single Presidential record in the books since Reagan defeated him in 1980.

Yes he did quadruple the debt and failed at the hostage crisis, he negotiated the Camp David accords, and deregulated the rail industry. After leaving office he was an unofficial pope.

George H.W Bush is the leader of the group, as he's the oldest. Carter's the second, George W. Bush's third, Bill Clinton's the fourth, and then Obama's down there.
Carter was the first one out of them to be president though.
Now Jimmy Carter’s in the lead as he is the oldest and the oldest president ever by far. He’s younger than and has outlived the two presidents after him. Millard Fillmore also outlived the 3 presidents that came after him (Pierce Buchanan and Lincoln) but James Buchanan was the oldest one of the four.

Every President is trying his own effort to best serve the country. However, no one can be 100% perfect and no one will like to be the worst, but to try his best. This is why we should appreciate each other's services by our generous mind of the forgiveness and stick on and strictly follow up with our own foundation and constitutions and principles as our country's mirror to make sure our country is in the right track of America's own foundations and constitutions as well as our country's own security issues and safety, prosperity and unity. Because only we make sure to follow up with our own foundation and constitutions and principles by our own patriotism and loyalty, America will be prosperous quickly again and forever. I also believe that the major decisions of the group will always be more secured and guaranteed for the absolute accuracy to be benefited to the country than the executive orders from one single person, either for the decisions from a CEO of a large business entity or from the governing leadership entity.
Isn't it always be good and glad to see all of the living Presidents to gather together for sharing the importanandt views, leadership experiences and the mutual caring of the country or the concerns of the issues...etc? This is why we must cherish what we have for other people to dream for to serve as one unity, to appreciate each other's services as one unity, to change the wrong policies to be the good ones as one unity.
