2:02 you can also hold said display to show the exact numbers or capacitor, shield, armor and structure ;) Something I did notice about capacitor battery’s is they tank all of the power used, while the “real” capacitor keeps recharging, that’s why when I hit roughly 50% I activate it and activate all healing modules, which bite through the battery while the capacitor recharges
Started using three large group cap boost rather than a nos, in all my mid slots...saves on overall powergrid and gives more in the longrun, while not being restricted to keeping in nos range...just so long as you have plasmids in your inventory as fuel.
This is the kind of tutorial that the game really needs for noobs! If you complete the requirements you could get a free nosferatus or battery booster. :)
I believe recharge essentially goes up with total capacity in same way that shield recharge works. Not alot of ships with the spare powergrid necessary, but anyone consider builds that squeezed in an oversized capacitor from higher class, such as medium battery on a destroyer, or large battery on a battlecruiser?
I like a nice juicy faction cap battery in my Navy Caracal. Cap batteries are really good in Echoes. Also a recharge, and max cap rig set too. I love my strong cap.
Awesome video! Still waiting on breacher video. Sadly I lost mine today =/ I almost have enough minerals to rebuild so, its OK. Nice worm kill btw. Record it next time! Lol I would also like to see an updated scythe video. Logi pilots need love too! The slots have changed since you recorded your last one and you also didn't cover rigs. Keep up the good work bro. See you out there o7
If the capacitor increase rig increases recharge rate, would it not just be strictly better than the capacitor recharge rig (17.5% vs 12.5% plus bonus capacity)? Also, you mention rats having infinite capacitor but I've definitely had the issue of my Nosferatu targeting a ship in range and not receiving any capacitor from it.
I have a question: how does the situational capacitor uses affect the stability equation? For example, how does the armour plates activation cost affect the 'capacitor stability timer' is it using it over and over after the cooldown that is calculated?
I don't understand why the rigs for recharging faster (capacitor control circuit), could be better than the the one to increase the capacitor size (semiconductor memory cell) (since it also increase the speed proportionnaly) . Thus a 17.5% recharge rate increase against a 14,2%, isn't the capacitor control circuit more expensive because people don't know semiconductors increase the speed too? I really like your videos, I never played eve and I'm playing eve echoes for 3 weeks, you defenitelly allowed me to learn some parts of the game very quickly. I hope you'll do some more advanced videos too, about null sec, where to find the top items (rig blueprints, C-type weapons,...) , player stations etc...
@@captainbenzie Ah that's what i meant, and thank you. Started to ask what's the difference between that and capacitor capacity, but just remembered that little warning that pops up about available units. Could you use routers to fit 2 or 3 med rapids on a stealth bomber? I hear some are kinda liking forgoing the torp bonus in favor of small missles to jump smaller ships.
So if any ship goes below 25% capacity, it won't be recharging capacitor at the max rate (like 6.62GJ/s for Dragoon Assault at 25%)??? And once that drained capacitor recharges to 100% it will again get the max recharging rate back at 25% capacity??
One more, these things work on same principle as lasers and turrets so isn't that supposed to make their chance to hit decrease as they go out of optimal range??
So if enemies have infinite cap....I guess I’m wasting effort switching my nasferatus around :p Since I’ve used them I always have had a habit of swapping around the ship I’m draining because I’ve always assumed they could go empty and I’d stop gaining cap back.
I would like to take the time to thank you for testing out the nos drain in pvp scenarios. Fly safe Cap o7
How did you not get tongue tied with all the "capacitor capacity's"? Impressive articulation.

Can you do a Gila fit
Would be worth to mention Cruor/Ashimmu/Bhaalgorn role bonuses concerning nosferatous
Any benefit to using 2 nosferatus on the same target?
Definitely a teacher, I think. It's what you're brilliant at, after all. Cheers. I feel like I got a thorough crash course on caps!
I would love some T-shirts with the quote on them! Thank you for taking the time to go into this in detail. :)
Is there any merchandise?

Thanks for the timestamp bookmarks!
You missed the armour repair and afterburner capacitor modifiers
I enjoy your videos

Oh and T-shirts FTW!
If your capacitor shows "Stable" does that mean it will not fall below a certain percentage? I notice you run a lot of some of your ships down to 15%.

You should see my corps bait can yue with mrl, large nuet x3 shield extenders
I was really hoping for an explanation of ancillary capacitor rig, since its the only thing I'm not sure about.... Not mentioned?

You have to clear scout and inquisitor anomalies

@@hantrazaveri1566 or buy them
Does this mean that you can't get drained by rats in PvE since they have infinite cap? Or do they have a setup similar to "always at 75%"?
@@captainbenzie Thanks for the clarification!
Any usa corps recruiting lvl 5s multiboxing with not alot of xp but alot of time?
Nice video

Ok. I thought it used to decrease in % chance to hit the shot and not % effect of neutralisation.
