Despite being faster, the lower range of the Condor II means you are more exposed, you have to keep constantly at less than 20km, if you´re doing Guristas rat, then you will need to be VERY careful with your tank and how you manage ranges. So my first recommendation is NOT to do Guristas (or any missile faction) on this ship, if you wanna do those rats, go for a Kestrel, trust me. Also I wouldn´t really recommend going for ballistic control on that low-slot, despite the higher dps and speed, you WILL have problems with tank. Notice how he did it, but only on a minmatar faction rat and only by using shiny mods, rigs and he got some good skill, but notice also that if he had been hit with another one he would be on armor really fast. My personal experience with minmatar and amarr rats is that your best bet is going VERY close range, and kill their webbers first. My personal recommendation for maximum efficiency is to go back to the Kestrel and try some T6 encounters, with the right fit, skills and some luck, its very doable, I got about 650k ticks doing it.
i agree with all of these points - it's better to be close range most of the time. Kestrel is more of a range tanking set up but I agree. condor is best for small scall pvp tackling imo
Great vid - thanks! Three questions though: 1. How significant is the penalty for fitting two identical thursters? Do you still get more speed than by fitting just one? If so, how much? 2. Missiles seem better than torpedoes for PvP, to 100% avoid webifiers. Would you agree with that? 3. For solo PvP, using missiles and being fast means you most likely won't need a webifier as you will orbit far to use it. What would you recommend instead? Second scrambler? Nothing? Thanks a lot and keep it up with the great content - you've become a first-class reference in no-time!
Do you mean the rigs? You lose 50% on the second rig afaik but it's still worth it 2. Yes. I’m a frigate pilot that speed tanks. Virtually any frigate can technically speed tank. Just keep in mind that the tech 1 and 2 frigates May sacrifice other utilities. As a speed tank afterburner is a must. But to answer your question. The atron can speed tank. Yes. Although I wanna think it’s the slowest of the three basic frigates. The slasher being the fastest.
You mean the 25m isk T6 missions? Wondering the same thing. As speed tank number of ennemies does nit matter as much. But the elite could be a problem...anyone tried?
I tried but it takes super long and you need to warp in at 100km and kill couple of them when they approach. After you managed to damage or kill couple of them warp back and repeat. Sometimes there are too many so you need to warp from the other side. This works bc not all enemies attack only a couple of them approach and you can pick them up one by one. After that you can actually speed tank cruisers and battle cruisers. The problem is in t8 missions some battlecruiser are extremely fast which makes it difficult to pick the smaller ships. And they scramble sometimes. The best method is still with multiboxing and the 3min to 4 min window to kill them but still takes longer solo

was this fit nerfed? i got the same weapons and more skill points than you but i only hit 99.48 DPS. I really don't understand, my only difference is that I'm using caldari NAvy small missiles but they got the same stats compared with your republic fleet.
When the beta was around I used to put a warp drive boster. I don't remember what it's called I think it's called that. I haven't played ina awhile. It was od quick 😅
Are you using a mouse and keyboard for Ipad? I’ve seen you use an iPad in other videos. I play EVE online on my PC and was wondering. I have a 2019 iPad.
Could you please talk about drones like the vexor or VNI for pve
hey, will you be producing more videos on other cruisers? besides caracal
Yes working on moa right now then vexor omen and thorax
@@Excoundrel lovely , you will cover two of three i am aiiming atm (vexor and thorax) . best wishes!
I feel like my DPS is lacking a little bit I'm trying this and with current skills getting about 68 to 70 DPS. Is that low? Is that average? What should I be shooting for dps wise if I want to go get that sweet sweet null sec ratting isk?
Hey me from the past it's you from the future! So it turns out it was your skills that were lacking, after a couple more days of training you easily can hit 136 DPS. Make sure you are orbiting at 3 km instead of 20. And meltdown anything that webs you immediately.
Oh and faction torpedo launchers aren't that expensive so go ahead and buy a couple.
Happy flying you handsome devil!
@@ianyboo da fuq?
My orbit has done that for the last week. I shut off auto orbit and just set it manually every time.
Its pretty buggy I reckon
whats the best pc emulator to use?
(Maybe a newb) Question: Could you make this work with small lasers or would the closer range get you in trouble with webbing?
You can make it work with any weapons but you have to be careful of webbing range for sure
You could run a tracking computer, that should give you enough range to kill the web ships.
@@Excoundrel Thanks, appreciate the reply and the videos. From a (somewhat) complete Eve newbie, they are super helpful.
@@memitim171 Thanks Mem! I'll look into tracking computers for sure.
Could you use an Atron 2 for the same purpose
The slasher being the fastest.
do those mech rigs stack?
I do not have advanced skills as an alpha clone and no rigs so speed and dps(60) is a bit low.. Am I going to fail in speed tanking against T5 rats?
Da fuk u mean that was a stellar intro
it is something wrong a had orbit on 30km but it kept flying to 0
Will this work with guns? (Lasers, hybrid)
Will work in any fast ship :)
which is the best ship, caracal or this ship?
Caracal in general, this is just a cheap option :)
thanks bro for the option
Can you do a video on artefacts. Continue with the good work
Can you solo mission arks with this?
@@miglob4403 Ha thanks for reply. So for the T6 I should be ok if I take it slow. But it is still a LOT of isk in the end sor probably worth every minutes of it.
@@sinmaan7568 Somewher on the net there is a display of all missions and what awaits you. So you kinda can do them bc i think only in the the 3rd and 4th are elites in it
3:35 😁 that's not your capacitor, that's your power grid 😎, needed to fit modules.
capacitor is used to activate modules.
Hehe sorry similar things in my head
Dude says "Haych Pee" better than anyone.
LOL FFS
I'm assuming you use a laptop and its internal microphone. If you do and you want to do another video, you could use your phones microphone and merge video and sound while editing. The audio quality of the phones microphone will be better. :)
I can try it next time
why did you stop the tft content?
Waiting for set 4, burnt out on set 3
I dont think my character has the skills to do that. As an alpha clone level 5 of a skill takes like 4 days to train. Kinda bananas.
*cough* ISK-->plex
How are you playing on pc?
Nox emulator
Hi how to zoom in and our on bluestacks
Arrow keys I'm usingn
They really need to fix this orbit bug.. this game right now has so many of these bugs that's kinda lame to play for real...
Good video Excoundrel! thanks for the info!
Lol just turn off auto orbit in settings. Noob
Why does the layout of your game look completely different
Nice!!!!
Used this ship in nullsec against T7 anoms and suddenly a cruor warps in and blast me to oblivion
It's not good vs other frigates
Someone in my corp had the same orbit issue
You say it costs less than 2M, but the rigs alone are too expensive for this. You should do an average price for your personal build and same for the low cost build and do an example with that. I am pretty sure I'll lose my ship trying to figure out what I can actually take on with the fittings I can afford with 3M.
I was only doing a t5, i am using this fit for a pvp video too but yeah I will do another video using a cheaper fit
@@Excoundrel What do you think I can take on with just the MK5 missiles, webifiers, booster, and MK5 afterburner? No rigs. Would T4 be difficult?
@@kwazzi9911 nah t4 easily and if you get good at knowing when to range and when to go close you can do T6 easily
@@Excoundrel Awesome. Thank you for the responses.
Those rigs got super expensive since this video
it's paper good, web can destroy speed tank in seconds
I love this ship for killing miners 😂
So what I get from your video, is your one of "those" guys that pirate other people ratting or mining?
I mean. It is part of the game. Everyone has their way of playing. I’m a mercenary. I pirate and kill with a price.
its okay :)
Would rather read than watch a long drawn out video. But there is monetization putting it in print.
I see that corp link... giving me more work.. lol welcome everyone.. if you decide to join up.
You shouldn't advertise an open corp alliance if you all aren't actually open to new corps. Smh.
stop zooming in and out 10times in a sec
The yellow bar in fitting is power grid, not capacitor. Why rave about it being a cheap build then demo it with 12mil worth of modules?
Title says under 2 million, then the dude lolcopters you into a 14 million afterburner. joke vid
May be ez but it is slow as hell.
Give me my 120mill Omen NI where I can just sit still at 5KM doing 1000-1800 volleys and destroy everything In sight while afk
